What is channel affinity?Channel affinity learns how each customer likes to connect—email, SMS, or push—based on real behavior and preferences. It stores those insights on their profile and makes sure your message reaches them on the channel they’re most likely to respond to. Why is this important?Channel affinity takes the guesswork out of cross-channel marketing. It figures out the best way to reach each customer—so your flows and campaigns perform better without you having to build a bunch of manual rules. Why is this important for us at BWH Plant Co?As a brand that restocks weekly, timing and visibility are everything for us. Our inventory moves fast—some of our most-wanted plants sell out in minutes—so being able to reach customers on the channel they’re most likely to check first is a game changer.Right now, we default to email for restock alerts since it’s our largest audience, but we know that’s not always where people are looking. In today’s fast-moving digital landscape, brands are no longer competing just on products or price - they are competing on customer experience. But as consumer behaviour evolves, so do the challenges facing marketers. Consumers might check TikTok, Instagram, email, and WhatsApp before their first coffee, yet many brands are still stuck managing each channel in isolation. The result? Fragmented experiences, repetitive messaging, and missed opportunities.  At Klaviyo, we believe it’s time to move from channel chaos to true connections. Our latest innovations in omnichannel marketing are designed to help brands orchestrate seamless, real-time engagement across every touchpoint - powered by unified data and adaptive AI.  But to ensure we are building the right solutions in the EMEA region, we need your input: Which mobile channels (SMS, RCS, WhatsApp) are most important to your business?  How do you combine these channels together to create a seamless customer journey?  What are your bigge

It’s a unified platform where marketing, service, and data work together in real time - turning customer experience into a growth engine. Learn more in our blog. And let us know in the comments: How are you thinking about the role of service in your customer journey today? What would a ‘CRM built for B2C’ need to include to be truly valuable to your team?

Klaviyo’s Consumer Pulse provides weekly insights to help you navigate shifting consumer behavior in a volatile economy. Recent data shows consumers are highly price-sensitive, responding to deep promotions and increasingly favoring American-made products—yet trust, transparency, and brand value are also driving decisions. Week of May 19Memorial Day is emerging as an early indicator of shifting consumer behavior, with shoppers starting holiday purchases sooner due to concerns over pricing and inventory.
