Customers not Receiving Abandoned cart emails.

@Maggie ,In the case of abandoned cart flows, you're going to see that people often get skipped for failing the flow filter, which is a good thing! ​It's a good thing because they did place an order since starting the flow and that's what you want to see. Since your abandoned cart flows have the flow filter "Placed Order zero times since starting this flow", it's going to check someone's profile before each step in the flow to see if they meet that condition or not. If someone fails the flow filter because they have placed an order since starting this flow, they will be skipped for any subsequent email.

Item Specific Post Purchase Flow - Best Practice

Hi @tanyal ,Welcome to the Community!In regards to a post-purchase flow, I think one optimal method would be to combine all of the post purchase Flows and use Trigger Splits to separate out the different items. You can then use a Flow Filters like > Has not been int this Flow for the last X days to make sure they don't get several emails in one week even if they buy a different item. Additionally, here are some related threads.

Hello @julesheridan ,First you want to make sure is that we're setting our Row collection (data source) up correctly. As our guide mentioned, we want to take the variable that has more information. You can find this variable when you hover over your test profile data in the Preview and Test page. Then you would just paste that into the Row collection field and give it an alias.You'll want to make sure you're putting in the correct variable for product image URL. So again, you'll first find the variable that you're going to copy from the profile event data, copy it and then change it so that the source alias is used instead. Then, you should see the product image populated when you preview your email. Now all you need to do is style the text with the product information how you'd like.I would recommend using a table / column block instead if you are trying to stack assets as well.

Thanks @Maggie ,Looks like there might be something in the recipient activity that will help us figure out what exactly is going on. Can you go to your abandoned cart email flow and see the recipient activity. Are the any emails that are being shown as skipped with specifics as to why. It should look like this as part of the interface.

@dennishappie If it is set to double opt-in then the reason people weren’t getting the email then would be because people have not accepted. But yes could you share some recipient activity that show they have successfully been added to the list but did not receive any email.

How to add media line items event from each shopify products in a CTA?

Hi @Nanu ,Welcome to the Community.The reason why the VIEW USER MANUAL button might only work for some products in preview and not for others could be due to several reasons: Incorrect file name or path: Double-check that the file name and path you entered in the event variable are correct and match the actual file name and path of the user manual for each product. If the file name or path is incorrect, Klaviyo won't be able to locate the file, resulting in a 404 error. Missing or inaccessible file: Make sure that the user manual file exists in the Shopify Files section for each product and that it is accessible. If the file is missing or inaccessible, Klaviyo won't be able to locate it and will return a 404 error. Permissions: Check that you have the appropriate permissions to access the Shopify Files section and that the file is not set to private. Why Are Transactional Email Deliveries Delayed by Hours?

Hi @Andrew.Walters ,Thanks for sharing.Can you confirm the sender address in the emails and your account default sender emails match? Can you also look into the recipient activity of the flow? Does it shows that there has been recipients but the emails are being delayed and then bouncing due to the error code 550 5.7.26? This would means that the unauthenticated sending email from a sender email is not accepted due to domain's DMARC policy.Thanks,Alex

Add to Cart Snippet Assistance Needed

Hi@smays ,Welcome to the Community!My guess here is that your add to cart variable after “.getElementById” is probably causing issues with the button and section_id variable.I think one idea would be to try <script type="text/javascript">var _learnq = _learnq || []; var classname = document.getElementsByClassName("btn");var addToCart = function() {_learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);}; for (var i = 0; i < classname.length; i++) {classname[i].addEventListener('click', addToCart, false);}</script>to trigger add to cart metrics. You may just need to also check with your developers that no other buttons share the same class name 'btn' as it is a generic name, if there are other buttons with this, they may also trigger the add to cart event.  Let me know if that works if not then we will reconsider.

@khag ,I understand you are trying to update a profile property with an event variable. Unfortunately, this is not possible within the {% update_property_link %} tag, as dynamic tags cannot be included within other dynamic tags. As a workaround, though, you can include a Webhook within your Flow. A Webhook Flow Action enables the ability to send a POST request to our identify endpoint with dynamic event data. This means that a Flow triggered by Ordered Product could use a Webhook Flow Action to update a profile property in Klaviyo with the dynamic event variable (i.e. {{ event.ProductID }} ), which would then be stored as a profile property. A limitation of this is is that the value would get overwritten each time a profile triggers the Flow. Check out these articles for more information on using Webhooks in Flows: Understanding Klaviyo Webhooks and How to Add a Webhook Action to a Flow.

Hi @khag ,Welcome to the Community.Yes, this is possible using the Update Profile Property action within a Flow. You'll want to setup a metric-triggered Flow based on the event you want to trigger the property. In your example, that would be "Placed Order". You can add filters to specify product, and more. Then, you'll add a Flow action of "Update Profile Property" and either choose an existing property to update to a specific value, or create a new property to update to a new value. Here's more information on how to set this up: How to Add an Update Profile Property Action to a FlowAre you looking for a product specific flow? Or just to tag users who have purchased a specific product? In that case would having an (update profile property) inside a product specific flow not work for your idea. You can submit an array as a property, but not an array of objects.

Hi @ChristianV_0 ,Thanks for writing back with the additional info. There can be a multitude of variables that impact Shopify’s integration with Klaviyo thus impacting the abandoned cart flow setup (aside for first setting a flow to live over draft). The first one I would check is that you have the add to cart metric successfully installed.An additional resource can be found in this thread too:Please note that most pre-built abandoned cart flows trigger based on the Started Checkout metric which triggers when someone enters their information at checkout and moves to the next step of the process. For more information, please see: How to create an abandoned cart flow Can you also share screenshots of the abandoned cart flow setup and an example of a profile that has successfully triggered the flow and not received an email?

Abandoned cart flow - how to do the flow correctly for new customers and returning customers?

Ok @Darren C I see what you’re talking about.So the second filter is essentially checking to see if someone has started another checkout event since entering the Flow. This is not in reference to the initial Started Checkout event that triggered the Flow. For context regarding metric-triggered Flows - each time the Flow Trigger event is triggered, the person will enter the Flow.  So if I trigger the Started Checkout event, this will enter me into the Flow. I could then, later, trigger the Started Checkout event again. This will enter me into the Flow a second time. Now I'm in the Flow twice - once for each Started Checkout event I triggered. The Flow Filter will then evaluate both instances and skip the first instance from receiving the remainder of the messaging (as I have stared another checkout since I first entered the Flow and therefore fail the Flow Filter). Only the second Started Checkout instance will qualify for the Flow Filter and I'll continue through the Flow for just that
