New 'Home' & Dashboards Update

@chloe.strange The update is good, but there are still things missing from the new ‘Home’ as users above mentioned. The design is still atrocious.I also keep failing to understand all the unnecessary white space, which is now also the case in the new ‘Settings’. Klaviyo is used on PC and PC only, scrolling is redundant. If it were useful on tablet/mobile, I’d understand the changes. But this makes no sense at all. It keeps going backward in terms of design.

Running a pre vs new customer revenue report

Hey @Dov,I was about to suggest the same but I wasn’t sure whether the segment would contain all previous purchase data or just for the chosen period. That being said, when exporting the segment, should “Historic Customer Lifetime Value” be exported along with email for this kind of a report?Also, for repeat customers, shouldn’t the correct segment be What somebody has done > Placed Order > is greater than 1/is at least 2 > over all time.

I have a pop-up where users can sign up to receive a promo code. What's the best way to handle this in Klaviyo?

Hi @stjoad.There are a few things you can do here. I suppose adding a custom property to your footer sign ups and then adding filters to your flow can work, but I think the following is the simplest way to achieve what you want.First, make sure your Pop Ups doesn’t show up to people who’re already subscribed. If you’re using Klaviyo to build your sign up units, you can do that going to “Targeting and Behaviour” and then ticking the box that says “Don’t show to existing Klaviyo profiles”.As for your footer, you can just link it to to a different list that is not connected to any of the flows.Although I’d at least recommend a Welcome Journey (without the discount) for your footer sign ups. You can duplicate the flow you’re using for your Pop Ups, remove the email that contains the discount and that’s pretty much it. Make sure you link it to the correct list once you duplicate the Pop Up flow.Hope this helps.

New Flow Ideas

@BryanzaleLP Hey, basically it’s a flow that has one or two emails in it. The purpose of the first is to let someone know they’re close to becoming a VIP and to showcase the benefits.The second can be a reminder that gets sent weeks after the first, sort of a reminder that they’re close and should grab the opportunity.The trigger is once someone joins a segment and meets about ~80% of your VIP criteria.

What is the best advanced email marketing/Klaviyo courses out there

There isn’t any that I know of, unfortunately. You’ll have to rely on your own creativity and testing to achieve better results, unless you choose to go with an agency or external consultant.

Here’s what I typically create for my clients.Welcome, Exit Intent, Browse/Cart/Checkout Abandonment, Post Purchase, Back in Stock, Pre-VIP, VIP, Win-back, Re-engagement, Happy Birthday, Cross-Sell/Upsell.Let me know if you could use more info on any of these.

Hey @fahad0011. Once you go to ‘Flows’ you can click on the ‘Browse Ideas’ button in the top right. Based on your explanation, I guess you need a Welcome Flow and Customer Thank You. Hope it helps.

Advice For Switching Email-Service Providers Just Before Black Friday?

Hey @Leslie Nicole & @Taylor Tarpley!If I were to advise any clients of mine, I’d definitely recommend staying on Mailchimp until the end of November. I prefer being safe rather than being sorry, especially in this month when boost in sales is expected. I’d switch over to Klaviyo after Cyber Monday, and then you should have enough time to warm up your account before Christmas.

Hey Golaut! Never had any issues with this, but I’d advise checking your Website URL in Klaviyo by going to Account > Contact Information > Organization > Website URL.

Very confused by win-back flow analytics not making sense.

Hey frwrdskincare. My advice here would be to go to Klaviyo Flow Library and get the Flow from there, as it’s already been set up correctly. Alternatively, you can just change the filter yourself. Here’s what the default Klaviyo Flow looks like:  Hope that helps.

show and hide blocks

Hey sanchin16. While editing a block, click on Block Styles on the far left, scroll to the bottom and you should be able to see the option ‘Show On’, which allows you to hide or show blocks on mobile or desktop (or both).

Why are profiles stuck in 'waiting' at a conditional split?

Hey there! I’d have to see the Flow setup (a screenshot would do) in order to identify the issue.I had a different kind of problem, where I used Conditional Split after Placed Order for Cross-Sell Flow, but turns out the correct way to do it is to use Trigger Split, and not Conditional. Perhaps that might be helpful in your case, too.

Improving Campaign Performance - Open Rate, Email Conversion, Deliverability

Hey Alex. Thank you for putting the effort into your reply. However, I’m not sure whether we’re experiencing deliverabilty issues. Sure, stats could be better, but looking at the last three campaigns, the average open rate for these stands at 24.5% and click rate is at 1.7%, and about 6 conversions. The list size is nearly 5K.In any case, wanted to share my suspicious, but I’ll definitely go through the resources you’ve provided. Regards,Nemanja
