Adding past profiles to flows has never been easier

We’re excited to announce improvements to adding past profiles in Flows! Add Past Profiles (formerly known as “Backpopulation”) allows you to queue people for flow actions retroactively. It’s most commonly used when you set a new flow live but want to queue contacts that would have qualified had the flow existed earlier. Adding past profiles ensures that you hit every eligible past contact with the right message, at the right point in time. What’s NewBackpopulation is now called “Add Past Profiles” to clearly reflect functionality and eliminate confusion. You’ll see an “Add Past Profiles” button in the top right of the flow builder While the functionality for adding past profiles (or backpopulating) remains the same, you’ll now see a clearer set of options for how profiles will be added to the flow. This makes it easier to confidently add past profiles into your flow Clearer distinctions between what makes a past profile eligible for this function along with where they will be added

Virtual Contact Card - Send to Existing Subscribers

Question: I added a virtual contact card to my SMS welcome flow for new subscribers. How can I send a contact card to my existing subscriber list? Answer:Virtual contact cards (VCCs) make it easy for subscribers to store your contact information in their phones. Once a subscriber saves your contact information, they’ll see that texts are coming from your brand, rather than a random number. Today, Klaviyo supports VCCs within flows. Because we do not support adding VCC to a campaign directly, you may wonder how you can send your contact info to your existing subscribers. Below are a few strategies to accomplish this: Prompt subscribers to request your contact card with a keyword. Send a campaign asking subscribers to reply CONTACT (or any term of your choosing) to receive the contact card. “Make sure you don’t miss any special offers! Reply CONTACT and we’ll send you a contact card you can save.” Set up a flow triggered by the send SMS metric. Add a filter for message bodies co

New Overview Dashboard transition

Earlier this year we released a new Overview Dashboard while allowing you to use the current analytics dashboard if you weren’t ready to transition. The new dashboard is your one-stop-shop to view all your core Klaviyo metrics. With the new dashboard you can: Customize views to fit your business needs Quickly identify trends with new visualizations Compare your performance to your peers with built-in benchmarks View side-by-side channel performance to identify which channels have the highest conversion The new Overview Dashboard will replace the existing analytics dashboard on December 30, 2022. NEW Google Ads integrationNews

The new Google Ads integration with Klaviyo enables brands to create one to one syncs between lists and segments in Klaviyo and their Google audiences. Once Klaviyo lists or segments are populated in Google Ads, the profiles can be targeted with specific ads, used as an input for a “similar audience”, or used as an exclusionary group for future ads to avoid advertising to specific groups, like recent customers. Hello Klaviyo Community! With ~29% of the digital advertising market share in the United States, Google Ads are a fundamental component of many brands’ marketing strategies.
