How to warm infrastructure when we don't have open/click history?

Hi, my client came from Shopify and used Shopify Mail to send newsletter before moving to Klaviyo. Unfortunately no engagement data like open and click per subscribers were passed from Shopify Mail to Klaviyo during the migration. In fact, I don’t think those are available on Shopify Mail.In other words, we have no way to segment subscribers by engagement until we send a few campaigns on Klaviyo.In addition, we have messages that we need to send and can’t really wait a few weeks before sending campaigns.In this case, what we can do to warm the infrastructure the best we can? What’s your recommendations? Dedicated Sending Domain - sendgrid problems

Hi all,I’m looking for some helpful opinions. I’ve recently taken over a new email account. They have a healthy list size (about 20,000 subscribers) and decent open/click rates, but they have super high spam and bounce rates. I believe this is because in 2019, someone set them up with their own dedicated sending domain, but they set it up through sendgrid.info. It looks like sendgrid had a massive data leak years ago, and now all of our emails get sent straight to Spam. We definitely need to get away from sendgrid, but I’m wondering if you think we should move to our own sending domain from our website or to a Klaviyo server?

Why do we have Poor Open Rates after Warming Process?

We recently migrated from Mailchimp, did the warming up process and within that our open rates were high! Since they were performing fairly well, we sent out a few campaigns to our entire newsletter, and have been feeling frustrated and disappointed with the results. Within Mailchimp, our open rates were anywhere from 25% to 40%, and we were making on average ~$600 per email. But since migrating they’ve all been cut in half. Again, we did the warming up process, and everything was looking okay! Are we doing something wrong? Are we missing something?

why the CTR is different in different places?

Hey, so I was calculating my weekly CTR and I found this:When I manually average the CTR we got for the last 7 days’ campaigns we got this: 0.3% CTRBut when I check the dashboard it says we got 1% CTR for the same last 7 days’ campaigns…Why tho?

Gmail Privacy Changes? Please advise

Hi Experts, Was their any updates made by Gmail for Privacy. I have just registered on Glockapps and they flagged our emails are going into spam on Gmail. based on the recommendations, i removed unwanted images and shorten the image size to balance 65/35 but the difference is not huge, it is still flagging spam. though the open rate for Gmail emails is 31%.Just wondering if there was any change happened in gmail privacy which is why it is happening? If so should i create a separate segment for gmail customers and start sending text based emails?

How much discount can I give? A detailed example will be very helpful ThxR

Is there a way to view revenue or clicks generated solely by product recommendations sent in a Campaign?

I’m looking for a way to determine or view total revenue or clicks generated solely by the product recommendation sections in a particular campaign. For example, I want to be able to know how much our recommended products section compared in performance to the general, featured products on a given campaign.Is this possible?

Total Revenue displayed in the Performance Dashboard in Klaviyo does not match google analytics

I’m talking about total revenue. Not revenue from email marketing. When we look at total revenue in the Klaviyo dashboard for the last 30 days, it doesn’t match what google analytics has for total revenue. Theirs is about 10% lower. Could it be tax?

My add-to-cart trigger is going to interfere with my abandoned cart flow

Hi  I recently added the add-to-cart trigger to my klaviyo I want to create an add-to-cart flow using the same flow as my abandoned cart email flow. The problem is that a customer could get a double up of emails if they meet the rules of both; a) the abandoned checkout flow and b) add-to-cart flow.  How can I I merge both flows together, can I create a flow that has two triggers e.g. creating a flow where the trigger is both ‘checkout started’ or ‘add-to’cart’

Spent a whole week trying to get AddtoCart to Collections Pages

I’m using Shopify and Gempages. There are two suboourn parameters that I’m trying to trigger for flows:addToCart from a Collection Page Product Removed from CartKlaviyo only seems to track AddtoCart correctly from Product Pages, but not collection pages, so I sucked it up and added the LittleData connection into Segment.io. Voila, I was so happy to get advanced data piped right into Klaviyo as a source, unfortunately, the two parameters I need above require the E-mail parameter to be attached and to the event and LittleData won’t do this.So I emailed support and they sent me some code to put on collection pages from Josh Nelson, but when I put this code in Shopify or in GTM, the code returns an error.Is there anyone using Shopify who can:Successfully track addToCart from Collection Pages Successfully track Remove from Cart Event Successfully integrated Segment.io or another CDP that can send this data ----Code from Josh----var_learnq = _learnq || [];{% assign my_product = ''%}$('.add_t

Dedicated Link Tracking / False setting, Support not responding

Hi there,last week Monday I wanted to set up Dedicated Click Tracking according this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001550572-Setting-Up-Dedicated-Click-TrackingAfter adding the described setting I contacted the support. On Thursday I got confirmation that the  records will be activated PLUS the information that SSL is enable – but nothing has been prepared for SSL on our end and unfortunately the instructions here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052205052 do not give a solution because none of the three methods apply to us.This leads to the problem that our links in the mailings currently don’t work and we cannot send any emails.Since Thursday I haven’t received any response on my support requests and follow-ups – including my requests to roll back on the whole Dedicated Click Tracking to be able to use the services again!Long story short, as I fail to receive feedback from the support I hope someone of the Klaviyo team here can help me out so th

Reports - revenue from 1st time buyers vs repeat email buyers

What are the different Client Types in the Analytics Dashboard?

Client Types are classifications that define the channel through which customers reach your site. A Client Type is different from Client Name, which is the exact browser a profile used (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).In the Analytics Dashboard, you can choose to produce cards that sort customer data by Client Type to monitor this over time. These client types are defined as:Browser Browser refers to individuals who open your email in a web browser tab. Mobile Browser Mobile Browser details the amount of users who open your email in a mobile browser. Other Other refers to those who open your email via embedded browsers in obscure mobile & desktop apps. None None means that these users cannot be identified. Email Client Email Client refers to profiles that open an email using an email app, such as Outlook. Library Library refers to those who open your email using “headless browsers,” i.e. browsers without a UI, or request-generating libraries used by backend servers.

Invalid JSON Syntax for Webhook

Please excuse my ignorance as I am not a programmer, but I’m trying to add the Order ID to the PayLoad of the Webhook. Automation Mapping

Hi all,Is there a tool/report within Klaviyo that you can pull out a time frame of all flows or a way of cross referencing to see if you could trigger multiple flows at the same time.For reference I spend most of my week doing audits on new clients and existing clients, i currently go into every flow that is live and map it into an excel spreedsheet to see where the customer journey might fall down.I.e my latest client has 8 post purchase flow for induvial products which is great lots of touch points but if i order from 4 flows i will trigger all flows not great end user experience when I receive 4 emails at the same time.Ideally I am looking for something that will tell me all of the live flows, all of the trigger points and all of the flow filters.Dave

Revenue per recipient or revenue per customer? Help needed please

Hi All, Is Revenue per recipient also tells us how much we can spend on lead gen ads? for instance last month our RPR from emails were $1.19, does that mean this is something we should spend on new subscribers acquisition via paid ads? Is RPR which klaviyo tells is after all the marketing expenses/taxes etc?Aplogise if i am confusing Revenue per recipient with revenue per customer, Klaviyo only shows RPR so i am assuming RPR is also Revenue per customer also? I have read this https://www.klaviyo.com/blog/revenue-per-recipient#:~:text=Revenue%20per%20recipient%20tells%20you,also%20help%20you%20get%20better. it doesnt tell if RPR is a right metric to use for projecting customer acquisition? Can someone please guide about this metric. Thanks,Sunny
