Birthday flow setup

Total newbie here so bear with me …I set up a signup form for my website to collect email addresses and birthdays. I am now trying to create a flow to send an email (with discount) on the customer’s birthday. In “Flows” I chose the standard Happy Birthday Email and it shows the flow on the right with “Start on person’s Birthday at 8am”. There is a Trigger dropdown menu on the left but there’s no option to select “date” just “Created”, “First Active” or “Last Active”. What am I doing wrong?Also, my Klaviyo account is integrated with Shopify -- can I only use the Flows with the Shopify icon?

Revenue-Triggered Flow

Hi everyoneI’m looking to create a flow that is triggered when customers spend over a certain amount. Can someone give me the best triggers or conditional splits for this? I’ve tried a conditional split by revenue and also triggered by over a certain number but I then need to enter a time frame which is irrelevant in this situation. Hope someone can help!

Replenishment Flow- Check out link

Hello, I’m still new to Klaviyo and I am having trouble with the prebuilt replenishment flow. In my email, there is a section that says “click here to go straight to checkout” however in preview when I click the link it says the link is expired. Is this just because it is in preview mode? Other links work fine. I also keep getting a red alert box when I try to save some text that says “invalid template tag on line 2 ‘endwith’ expected ‘empty’ or ‘endfor’… did you forget to register this tag? So I’m wondering if this has something to do with this. Can someone let me know what I’m missing. I appreciate it so much!

Issue with Link error - tracking

Hello! I have an email that I am hoping to send out with a link that takes you to a website. This website is where clients we work with login to access information. The link in the email currently takes you to a 404 error page on the site, even though when I paste the link in a browser it works correctly. I had a coworker figure out that this was because of tracking settings in Klaviyo. However, she no longer works with us and I don’t know what the setting is that we are supposed to change in order for that link to work properly. Would anyone have an idea on what tracking settings I might be able to change for this to work? Thank you!

I am getting a lot of ADD TO CARTS but Flow is not sending to abandoned ones.

I need some help, maybe my flow is wrong? I use Shopify and connect Klaviyo. I sent up a few flows and they all are working, but the abandoned cart flow does not send any. Any way around this?

Using a Date-Triggered Flow

Hello,I am just getting familiar with Klaviyo. I have set my abandoned cart flow and also an email subscription flow. Both are working fine, after a few days at least. So I am getting familiar.Also worried.I had been working with Mautic for years prior to switching to Klaviyo.I am only saying this because I am used to running email drips triggered on a certain date.Now I thought Flows would have that capability but I can’t seem to find it. What I need to do is send two types of emails on a certain day in the future.•    Email A goes to buyers of a product (a simple offer with a discount). •    Email B goes to those visitors of a product page who haven’t yet bought the product (thus it has more content, mainly more awareness with an offer as well).After sending these two types I wait till Friday the send both groups an Email 2, which is a reminder that the offer is about to expire.Now it is easy to set this flow in Klaviyo, apart from a start date.I want to be able to say, start this fl

How To Show Split Payments From AfterPay, Klarna, and Others

Displaying Dynamic Data for Non-Metric Triggered Flow

Hi there! I’m having an issue with a saved block. I saved a block from a Klaviyo flow template that would recall a persons last order to allow for easy reorder. I took it from a replenishment reminder template, and the flow I’m creating is also a replenishment reminder, but I wanted it to go into a fully designed template (hence saving it as a block). The issue is that when I preview this block in Klaviyo’s pre-designed flow template it shows me the persons last order. When I try it on the flow that I created, it shows up blank. I can’t understand why this is happening as it is literally exactly the same. Please help!

I need help with setting up flows per fulfillment

I have a client with whom I am working with. He has a Shopify store that sells night guards. There is a strategy when he sells his stuff. He firstly send an impression kit through a email & after that he sends a sample through local shipment. My question is that what flow/trigger should I go for so that it can be done easily. Add New Emails for Users Who Already Completed the Flow

I'm creating a flow with about 5 emails. I would like to create the first email (with variations), and see how it performs before writing the rest of the emails. If my users have already completed the flow which only has 1 email, what will be the effect if I:Add a second flow email: Will they all jump into the queue automatically, or will they not receive the email at all since it didn't exist when they completed the flow? Add a time delay and second flow email: Will the users enter the time delay based on the moment the time delay is added, or will it be based on the time since they finished the flow? Or will they skip it entirely before the time delay and second email didn't exist when they finished the flow.Thank you!

I want to create a flow email that will be sent to person who recently purchased on our shop. Email will announce that the product is ready to delivery or successfully delivery. Are win-back emails considered a marketing email?

Here’s my question: My client wants to send win-back emails, but she doesn’t want to send it to customers that didn’t ask for marketing emails. In my experience, win-back emails aren’t the same as a marketing email and thus can be treated different. Meaning that the customer doesn’t need to give approval in order to send these emails. Can someone from Klaviyo please confirm this. I want to make sure that the client can see that this is from a trusted resource. Thanks!

Can't find variable in a dimensions dropdown

I’m trying to follow this guide:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058920872-How-to-A-B-Test-Offers-Using-Signup-Forms- I have a signup form AB-test with 4 different discount percentages,I want to include the right discount code (and percentage) in the welcome mail - according to which of the 4 test variants the customer saw when subscribing. However, in my flow filter section, I don’t have Properties about someone > $consent_form_id.I only have the regular $consent and $consent_timestamp. What am I doing wrong? Completely new to Klaviyo.

Countdown Timer Issue

Hi Everyone,I set up a campaign for a client utilizing a free Countdown Mail countdown timer recommended by Klaviyo here: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000780232-How-to-Add-a-Countdown-Timer-to-Your-Emails-and-Signup-FormsI added the timer as an Image Block per the instructions. On Friday, the countdown timer was working just fine when we previewed and was counting down accurately per the parameters we set for the sale ending tonight. The email went out and it appears that the countdown timer is stuck looping on the time frame of when it was sent out as a preview. When looking at CountDown Mail today - the timer looks accurate. Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences here? Anything I can do in the future to ensure this doesn’t happen again? Thank you!Andrew

A simple flow is not working

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I know my question is one of the most asked, but I tried everything I could to find a solution, without any success. Here is my project: In addition to the confirmation email (sent by Shopify), I would like to send a specific email (containing a link to an ebook) to customers who purchase some specific products. My flow: -When some places an order-If he has : placed an order - at least once - over all time - where tag - contains ‘cat’-If he has : placed an order - at least once - over all time - where tag - contains ‘coloring’-Then he or she shall receive the specific email (containing the link to my ebook)Please see picture for visual details. The problem: When I place an order on my shop, I do receive the order confirmation email (sent from my Shopify) but not the ebook email and the flow seems not to work at all, since the condition splits have 0 waiting, 0 yes, 0 no.I shall precise that I deactivated smart sending, so the issue is not due

Showing all items in the cart for Abandoned Cart Reminder flow

Hey everyone,We’re looking to display all items in a person’s cart when they abandon it after adding a product, not just the last product added to cart.In the preview I don’t seem to have access to any events other than Name, ProductID, Categories, ImageURL, Brand, Price, and CompareAtPrice. Way too many decimal places on Abandoned Cart EDM

Hello everyone,On our “Abandoned Cart” Flow EDM, the price is coming up with 8 x decimal places. We’ve looked on the back end and there’s only 2 x decimal places for the price, we’ve nevered entered more than 2 but it always comes up through EDM. Any suggestions on how to fix?Thanks!!!

What is an efficient way to trigger a welcome email to customers that register on our store? Can this be achieved with Klaviyo?My ideal flow would be, someone creates a new account on our store, we send them a welcome email, or if they’re a corporate customer we send them a welcome corporate customer email.Thanks in advance!

Is Klaviyo's open rate accurate?

Hi there,We have been using Klaviyo for 2 weeks and we found very inconsistent data for email open rate.  Context:We have an email template customized from a Klaviyo’s pre-defined template, let’s call it A.We have an email template written in html by ourselves, let’s call it B.A and B convey similar information to our customers, the only diff is the layout/image contents.We used A and B in several campaigns. Each reached several thousands customers’ email boxes. The other conditions (send time, audience,...) are almost the same for the campaigns using A or B, so basically you can consider it as an A/B testing testing the templates. What we found:When using A, the open rate is around ~15%When using B, the open rate is around ~30%Most of the open events happen at the time when the emails were delivered (like 90%).A and B have similar click rate Questions:The subjects/email preview and exactly the same for A and B so one can’t tell the diff before opening the email. So we wonder why the o

Replacing existing email in flow

Hello.First time post although I have been with Klaviyo for nearly a year.I made the mistake today of completely replacing a single email in a flow, removing the original.  From memory I THINK that means that emails will come to a screaming halt when people are tracking through the flow.I think I have to clone the whole flow to get it working again.  Am I correct or will the visitors flow through?.  This email is preceded with a Conditional Split.I hope this is enough info.Thanks!

Accidently deleted Abandon Cart Flow from browse ideas

I activated the Abandon cart flow where the email shows the image and product title of the abandoned item. I am having trouble recreating it. Is there a way to get it back? It is no longer available in “Browse ideas”
