Hello, I’ve just started setting up some of my flows, including my welcome flow. I send out mini campaigns every week, and would like to exclude anyone that’s in the welcome flow so they don’t get the campaign emails just yet. I know I can exclude certain segments from the campaign but how do I go about creating a segment of anyone that’s in the welcome flow? I couldn’t see an option for ‘Is in X flow’ within the segments builder, what’s the best (neatest/easiest!) way to do this? Thanks,Meeta
We want to use klaviyo for sending newsletter. Currently our shopify store has 2 languages, french and english. Customers and subscribers are added in a klaviyo list automatically, however there is no language information...?Inside shopify, there are filters to segment customer into different language lists, but this data doesnt seem to get transfered to klaviyo…? We need to somehow get the language information for each customer/subscriber in order to send them newsletter in the correct language… How can this be done? What is the easiest method to achieve this?We are using shopify native multi language feature, but will also be adding a language addon to better control/manage translations. We would be using one of the addon that officially support the native shopify language feature here : https://apps.shopify.com/collections/apps-for-store-languagesAny recommendations? Would one of these allow us to more easily get the language data in shopify?
Hi there, I’ve been looking at lists on our account and noticed that our Newsletters list is 5k under the amount of customer we have on a list where the definition is just ‘accepts marketing’ can anyone say why this is? Also is there a way we can then add this extra 5k to our newsletter list?!Thanks in advance,Ali
Sending to engaged customers is crucial to being a successful email marketer. We recommend breaking up your Klaviyo subscribers into 30-, 60-, and 90-day engagement groups. If you send daily, we recommend using a 30-day engaged criteria (using opened or clicked email). If you plan to send to subscribers weekly or monthly, extend the timeframe for opens and clicks to 60 or 90 days.Monitor your open rates using the engagement report.
I want to be able to let my site visitors choose their location/country from a drop-down list when they signup but at the minute I have to create a manual list and enter all 190+ countries as options. You have a drop-down list with country under “Phone”, couldn’t you just take that exact piece of code, remove the extension information, and use that as a drop-down list for “Country”? It would save a huge amount of time, especially as you cannot clone a Signup Form across different lists, meaning you have to enter the same 190+ countries every time you create a form for a new List.
First post :DI have looked around in the help docs but couldn’t find any details on this… Is it possible to add a blacklist of domains we don’t want to accept subscribers from? I think it would be a very cool feature to avoid spam traps, scrappers (like Milled) and others. Thanks in advance!
We have an integration between our platform (MentionMe) and Klaviyo and we’ve recently been seeing more and more 403 errors when calling the Get Profile endpoint (https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/get-profile). Think we saw this first ones on 15 March, and last night we saw about 150 of these for various Klaviyo clients.I had a look at our logs and the response we’re getting from the API is the one bellow:[image removed]These seems to usually happen during the night. For example, last night we had errors between 06/04/2022 02:14:02 - 06/04/2022 04:08:31I’ve checked the Klaviyo status page but there is no incident reported there. Has anyone else seen something similar?
Hello People,I have found this post: The recommendation here is to run multiple stores + Klaviyo accounts… Shopify Markets is in Beta now, the benefit is to sell to multiple markets from one store. Therefore, the recommendation seems to be a bit outdated, since the benefit of Shopify Markets is to sell internationally from one single store. As far as I understood, it is more ore less the same technology and options Shopify offers today but bundled differently. We currently run our store in EN but are about to add DE as a second language. Customer marketing+forms and so on has to be bilingual too. Is there a Best Practice approach how to run (lists, flows, forms, content, ...) in multiple languages without unnecessary overhead? Thanks!
Every few months I get hit with 20 - 30 new profiles All from Mark Mustermann with an email of fake(insert zipcode here) @fakemail.com Is there a way to mass delete them or maybe a way to prevent that name from ending up on the list or maybe anything with fakemail.com addresses?
I just accidentally deleted an important list or segment (not sure which type it was) and now my flow isn’t going to work. I created the list/segment a while back and don’t remember how to set it up.It’s for people that opt in to my store footer and or are coming from Etsy for a coupon code. Is there a way to recover it or recreate it? Thanks!
Hello, I have a problem with the subscription sign up area on my website. I would like all of the subscribers to be added to my klaviyo “Newsletter” list so that my welcome series can be triggered. When a new subscriber signs up, they are added to the “email subscribers” list with the tag “newsletter” in shopfiy, but it does not get added to any list on Klaviyo. I have set up Klaviyo.js and it says it’s successfully installed on the site In the integrations tab, I have selected “Newsletter” for the list for the subscribers who accept marketing through Shopify. I don’t have “double opt in” selectedI would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks
Hi! I have created a Segment where about 7,000 subscribers got in. I used this Segment to trigger my Newsletter flow. However, when emails were sent and I get to check the analytics, only 1,000+ emails were delivered. Can someone please tell me why it wasn’t delivered to all 7,000+ segment subscribers? This goes the same as the next emails on the flow. The Delivered number just keeps getting smaller and smaller. Here’s for the last email that is in that flow: Only 137 were delivered, 482 waiting to be delivered. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I already back-populated the flow. Will that help? All I want is for the 7,000 subscribers to receive all the emails I have prepared in the Newsletter flow. Someone help please! Thank you so much!
Hi there. Using the Mailchimp integration, is there a way to import a list from Mailchimp into an existing Klaviyo list? I’m trying to maintain a single list, and don’t want to deal with merging a new list into our main list.I tried unchecking the “Create Klaviyo lists from Mailchimp lists” checkbox in integration settings, but doesn’t seem to work. Probably this feature was for intended for something else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, –oo
I have a list of around 300 custom properties we are using and I’d like to find a way to bulk upload them to a segment definition filter. Right now it seems like my only option is manually enter them as “OR” filters but this is very time consuming for so many properties. Surely there has to be an easier way to do this?
Hi! We’d love to have a quick question or two for those who unsubscribe from our email list(s). Just something to help us learn about why they unsubscribed. I’ve searched all over and I can’t figure out how to do this.Does anyone know if it’s possible to have an automated survey appear after someone unsubscribes?
Can’t seem to find any information related to this; how do I delete a custom property? I don’t mean removing the property from someone’s profile; I’m talking about deleting the property itself. I thought removing it from all the profiles that show it would automatically delete it, but apparently that’s not the case. Thanks, -oo
Hi everyone, Neewbie question here so apologies in advance if this is a simple answer but I couldn’t find any definitive information! We currently have all customers to our website captured onto a list within Klaviyo which is integrated with Shopify. This has been working well and I have set up a few flows and campaigns with success that I have been pleased with. However, as our website specialises in both retail and wholesale, I would like to have all wholesale enquiries collated into their own list so that I can then create a segment based on their location. I do not need an integrated sign up form from Klaviyo. I just want to use the sign up form we currently have on Shopify and capture that email address into a separate list. Once i have this information, I then want to begin separate marketing campaigns by wholesale customer location from this separate list. What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance!
Hi all,Would it be possible to remove someone from a list automatically? I mean through a flow or 3th party integration?I have the following use case:I have build a yogaselector in ManyChat that puts someone on a list in Klaviyo (and updates custom properties). Klaviyo kicks off a flow that sends the results of the selector in an Email. If someone fills out the yogaselector in ManyChat again the custom fields might be updated and the Email with the updates scores would be sent.I thought that maybe removing someone from the list just after the first mail is sent and put them back on the list would be the way to go. But I don't see any possiblities to automatically remove someone. Not with a flow, not directly with the ManyChat integration nor via Zapier.Do you think it's (im)possible and/or would there be another way to accomplish what I'd like? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!Tim
