Exclude products from abandoned cart emails

Hello!I am wondering if it is possible to exclude certain items from the dynamic table block for the abandoned cart e-mails. Or only include certain items/ collections. These are items that are “in” their cart but I do not want to send them to encourage them to finish checking out. For example I have the cloverly app for offsetting carbon footprint for shipping and I also have an app that I use to have multiple options for products. I don’t want these items showing in the abandoned cart e-mail. Is there a way to go about excluding these?Thanks so much for any help!Natalie

Checkbox Appears on Woocommerce Checkout Page after Klaviyo Plugin

Hi,We integrated our Woocommerce website with Klaviyo today and we noticed a checkbox appeared on the checkout page as soon as we activated the Klaviyo plugin on Wordpress. It’s just a checkbox underneath the email field and with the words “(optional)” next to it.Any ideas how to remove this? I’m guessing it’s meant to be the Newsletter signup but then I’m not sure where to go to customise the text or to remove the option entirely.I’d appreciate any help!Thanks!

Targeting blank values for conditional statements / IF ELSE content blocks

Hi all, Ok so originally I started writing this because i was struggling to hide / show content based on blank values but I found the article i needed and i’ve figured it out ...  . I’ll still post because it might be useful for someone but there’s also an extra question at the end that would be good to know for future reference!---I’ve been trying to get a text block to hide / show based on blank or no value i.e First_name has no value so display X instead. Example below is what i’m trying to do ;  I saw this example on an article which makes sense for use in a text block but i’m struggling to write valid syntax / target the value or no value i need which is firstname: {% if person|lookup:'Interested in Dogs?' and not person|lookup:'Interested in Cats?' %}    Like dogs? I accidentally deleted my flow emails - can I recover it?

I made a change to one of the first conditions of a flow tree and mistakenly deleted everything after it, including the emails I had setup and all the following conditions. Yikes! Is there a way to revert back?

Setting Up A Forward To A Friend Link [or Button]

Rather new to Klaviyo and am trying to find a solution to adding a Forward to a Friend link or button at the bottom of our emails. Some platforms have widgets or block with this functionality built in, but Klaviyo does not appear to, and I have had no luck finding a solution to this in the Help Docs.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anyone elses open rates dropped overnight by 50%??

Morning Team - this week we’ve seen our open rates drop by 1/3 and then ½ against our averages. Presumably due to the IOS changes? Our CTR are also down. Is anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions for how to combat it?ThanksRob

Annotate emails in the Promotions tab for Gmail - Display carousel as preview text

Hi Klaviyo Community,I am trying to create a carousel as a preview text following this guide from Google: https://developers.google.com/gmail/promotab/overviewIn order to add this code to an email, I saved a campaign as a template, then added the code with the correct values in Visual Studio code, then imported the code back to Klaviyo. But when I send a preview the carousel doesn’t seem to render. Hello, I am trying to set up a flow where I get notified when a customer joins my list.I saw “You can also customize the triggered notification to include all key details about the new subscriber as well as any form data that got populated to their profile after filling out your form.” - how do I get this information included on the notification email?

Can I edit the abandoned cart product table to only show certain items?

Hello! First time posting.  In the Abandoned Cart workflow, the dynamic table that is placed in the email shows a list of items that the customer added to their cart. However, I have some items I don’t want showing in the cart. For example, I dont want “shipping protection” shown which is technically a product line item in their cart, but it’s not the product. It’s just ugly and not necessary to show and I’m hoping to remove it from future emails.It looks like the solution before was to wrap the table in an IF statement that excluded items I can tag. But I dont know how to do this in the new email builder. The prior solution is demonstrated in the old way.Here’s the link to the answer using the old builder:  How can I fix this?   Thank you!Steve

Why don't the subscribers from my Shopify Subscriber Box get added to my Welcome Series List?

Hi Everyone,New to Klaviyo but loving the features so far. Way better than Mailchimp and Seguno which I’ve used in the past.I’m having one small problem that I can’t figure out. I have 2 subscription signup areas on my website:First is the Signup Form popup through Klaviyo. These subscribers get automatically added to the “Welcome Series” List in Klaviyo. They all start receiving emails from the “Welcome Series” flow. This is perfect. Second is the Shopify Theme Subscriber Box at the bottom of my homepage. These subscribers get added to the “Customers” in Shopify and then get added to my “All - Newsletter” Segment (my full campaign list of everyone who has subscribed) in Klaviyo but don’t get added to my “Welcome Series” List in Klaviyo. How do I also get them included automatically into my “Welcome Series” List so they start receiving the “Welcome Series” flow?The site is www.sharetoiletpaper.com for reference.Thanks in advanced!Jeff

Shopify newsletter subscribers are not going into klaviyo newsletter list

Hello, I have a problem with the subscription sign up area on my website. I would like all of the subscribers to be added to my klaviyo “Newsletter” list so that my welcome series can be triggered.When a new subscriber signs up, they are added to the “email subscribers” list with the tag “newsletter” in shopfiy, but it does not get added to any list on Klaviyo. I have set up Klaviyo.js and it says it’s successfully installed on the site In the integrations tab, I have selected “Newsletter” for the list for the subscribers who accept marketing through Shopify. I don’t have “double opt in” selectedI would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks

Hi, I just started in Klaviyo, moving from another platform.  However, I dont see the tab ‘flow filter’ and I desperately need it to set up. Is it because I am still on the free plan? Or why would that be? Kind regards, Anita

Why Are Both Shopify and Klaviyo Sending Confirmation Emails for Double Opt-In?

Hey there,I just started using Klaviyo and I love it but I am running into one major problem. I think it is great that the integrated signup forms in Shopify sync with Klaviyo but it results in one issue for me: the Shopify system as well as the Klaviyo system send confirmation emails for the double opt-in. Problem is, I cannot disable double opt-in on Shopify because that would mean anyone can sign up (including bots) and I also cannot disable double opt-in on Klaviyo because double opt-in is required in my country.Does anyone know how to work around this issue?Any help is appreciated.Thank you,

Where can I find tracking number in "Preview" of an email for Post Purchase Flow?

Why is my segment triggered flow not sending emails?

Hi there!I have set up a flow based on people from our mailing list who have viewed products on our Shopify site. Once they view, they become part of a segment called “Potential Purchasers”. We set up a flow for anyone being added to that group, but no emails have been sent. Would they all be blocked by “smart send” at this stage? If so, shouldn’t they appear as “skipped” at least? Thank you!

Using The First Name Code

Hi everyone, I’ve been having a problem using the code to insert the customer’s first name into my emails. It seems like it works some of the time, and other emails I end up seeing just have a blank space. I sent out a holiday sale email this morning, and when I saw my copy, I realized it was just a blank space where the first name should be. This is very disappointing, embarrassing, and makes my emails look unprofessional because there is a comma, a space, and then an exclamation mark rather than a name inserted. Does anyone know how to ensure that the first name is always going to appear properly? Thank you,Meryl

Multiple accounts, only one website

Hi! I have a client who currently has two brands, two separate websites and two Klaviyo accounts for these brands. However, they plan on having only one website for both their brand, and even add a third one. Every brand will keep it’s identity, name and visual assets, but they will be on the same website.Our preference would be to keep different Klaviyo accounts so that every brand has his own sender name, sender address, assets and everything. We could however hop from an account to the other like we do in our agency, from one client account to another. However, is it possible to have multiple accounts with only one website? I’ve seen topics with the opposite question, like having multiple shops for only one Klaviyo account, but nothing exactly like my question. Thank you so much!

Is there a way to have a pop up appear only one time during a site visit?

I would like to a pop-up to appear when someone first comes to our website, but then once they close the pop-up, not have it appear again.  I have not been able to figure out how to do that, as it keeps popping up when they change pages, for example. I do not want to limit the pop-up to only certain urls, because we use several landing pages.  So can a pop-up appear one time, no matter where someone lands, and then once they close it, does not appear again? Thank you.

Limited Number of "Recently Viewed Items" showing in Flow Email

Hello,Is there a way to include the “recently viewed items” code snippet in a flow, as listed here :  https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019921772-How-to-Insert-Recently-Viewed-Items-into-an-Email#3-most-recently-viewed-items2 But to limited the number of products shown ?   I’d like to tell the flow to show “at most 4 last viewed items” by the contact.  ThanksStephen
