Dedicated domain setup – Cannot enter @ symbol as the host, for site validation

Hi there,I’ve set up a dedicated sending domain using instructions from this page. However, I’m using Media Temple, and for some reason their DNZ zone records don’t accept the @ symbol in the  name field for the site verification txt entry. Gives me an error if I try to save it, so I left the field empty to be able to save it.It looks like the verification is all set though. I get a Your sending domain email.odetothings.com has been applied in Klaviyo, and I was able to send a test email. But I want to make sure I’m not doing something wrong. Is the @ symbol important in this process?Thanks, –oo

My Shopify 'Fulfilled Order' metric is not connecting correctly

Fulfilled order metric is showing events for when an order has ‘fulfillment in progress’. Not when its actually been ‘Fulfilled’ and dispatched. This is crucial to me as i have set up a shipping confirmation email flow and my customers aren't receiving their shipping updates and tracking. I use a 3rd party drop shipping company that handles printing and shipping for me. Would i need to keep the shipping confirmation email ticked in shopify settings? I turned it off thinking it would double up emails and annoy my customers.Thank you to anyone that could help me :)

How to get a subtotal on Placed Order metrics having multiple items?

Hello I create an order confirmation email using the placed order metric flow, but upon checking on the available data subtotal data is missing only the subtotal per item is available. Is there another work around on this like adding the subtotal per item?

Best approach to automate getting segment predictive metrics

We want to automate getting segement predictive metrics (like Total Customer Lifetime Value, Churn Risk Prediction, Average Days Between Orders, Average Order). Right we are manually downloading that data with .csv file. We asked the support for API, and they said for the moment being it is not posible to get that data with an API. Do you have some workaround for us so we can automate it?

Active on site tracking and View product tracking

I’ve added the snippets to my site for active on site and viewed product tracking and I am getting the ‘green’ CTA saying data is received but then not getting any data coming through onto site despite people being on site and I’ve checked the tracking myself.Any ideas, will this be because I am using the free plan? Thanks

Email changes its formatting when shared with someone else

Hello @Mailbox Manny ,I have created email in klaviyo using the drag and drop builder. The email looks perfect when shared the preview from klaviyo, but I forward the same email to someone else, it looses all of its formatting. I am not sure any such thing should happen. Can you help with that issue? Also, can you let me know why does that happen? Thanks:)

I’m considering between Klaviyo shared hosting and dedicated domain hosting, so i want to ask that: What is the maximum email, recipents per day can i send using shared hosting email? is it’s delivery good? i know it cant be the best but what is the percentage of my first email getting into inbox? i’ve done some research but dont see any useful statistics.

Matching Shopify metrics with Klaviyo

HiI’m trying to understand how to pull revenue reports by segment that line up with the purchasing totals I’m seeing in Shopify. When I go to a person’s profile in Klaviyo I can see total revenue. And that matches up with Shopify. But how can I pull that “revenue” line into an actual report so I can see the spend of certain segments. Thanks

Did one person REALLY open 939 times? Every send seems to have one crazy number.

We’ve just started sending an email to two new lists, and the most recent one showed one person opening the email 939 times.  That seemed pretty wacky, so I looked at a couple other emails that we’d recently sent.  Another email showed one person opening 154 times.  These numbers seem really unlikely - especially the 939 opens from one person.  Is that REALLY correct, or is there something that could be causing that to happen? Thanks!

dbt klaviyo package not showing campaig_id for Ordered Products

Good day, I currently use shopify  and fivetran for all my ecommerce data. When applying the Klaviyo DBT packages to build tables, none of the entries for products ordered/placed have campaign_id values, hence I am not able to see which campaign performed the best.  I have changed the lookback window period to 14 days in dbt but it has not helped. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Daily Break Down of Campaign Conversions

Hi,We are a team handling multiple advertising platforms. We want to breakdown the attributes per platform to make a more well informed decision when it comes to scaling or turning off ads.With that, I want to make a daily report including the performance of email campaigns in Klaviyo. I was wondering if it is possible to create one daily, because, while looking into it right now, I can only see the total conversion value of the campaign. Meaning, if I want to have a daily break down I need to check it daily and subtract yesterday’s conversion value to today’s conversion value.I hope this question makes sense and hoping you guys can help us. Thanks!

We recently had our own email system block a campaign email as a phishing attempt. Our IT department investigated and found the combination of the trk.klclick.com and xxxxxx.cloudfront.net addresses in the message triggered the block (xxxxxx being a seemingly random combo of letters… didn’t know if it was sensitive or not).I searched and found the directions for setting up our own custom click tracker domain to replace trk.klick.com, but could find nothing about the cloudfront.net address. If we replace trk.klick.com will that be enough to avoid the phishing block? If cloudfront.net is also contributing to blocks and spam designations, is there a workaround for it as there is for trk.klick.com? Thanks!

Google Analytics Reporting More Revenue Than Klaviyo

Hi everyone, I just began to experience the following: Google analytics is attributing more revenue to a Klaviyo email campaign than Klaviyo. My email campaigns have recently been getting clipped.Are the two issues related? Google Analytics should NEVER attribute more conversions and revenue than Klaviyo to email campaigns given how each platform attributes success.What could be the culprit?

Magento: Why does Klaviyo can't read the "Checkout started" behavior of my customers?

I am having issues with the abandoned cart series. Api request metric not created

Hi,I am using the API to create dynamic metrics against a profile.I have for instance 5 requests with a success response however when I go and check the profile events I only see 3 or 2 metrics created on the profile.Would it be that there is a request limit per second? I should have the 5 metrics created on the profile.

Custom metric for Woocommerce for Order Status

Hi, Apologies if there is already a similar post in the forum. However, I recently transitioned to Klaviyo for my business’s email marketing and am still exploring the available features here.I am looking to build a flow regarding failed orders and was wondering if there is a way to get that metric in Klaviyo. "Viewed Product" Event not showing in activity feed

I have had the viewed product code setup since february and only have received 2 events since then. I know its not a cookie problem because I have since had over 200k website visits and I know its not a web tracking problem because when I test it, it says “data received”. What can be the problem?
