Adding images side by side in an email

You’re designing your email, and all you want is to have two images side by side, but how do you do it? Well, there are 2 ways:Use columns. In the Klaviyo email editor, choose Add Columns to Email and drag it to where you would like your images to be. It will populate with text blocks by default. Drag in your image blocks and delete the text blocks if you don’t plan to use them. This method will allow you to easily include 3-4 images in a row and can be used with any content type. using columns to add images  Use a Split. In the editor within the block options choose Split and drag the block to where you want your images to be. The Block Tab will show a column editor. Under Layout/Types > Content change the dropdown for both columns to “image”, then click into each column tab to upload your images. How to add a clickable phone number to an email

There are many reasons you might want to provide a phone number for customers to reach you at, and it’s a great way to keep an open line of communication with your customers if you offer phone support. So how do you easily share that with a customer in an email?There are two ways you can add a click-to-call link to your emails:Add it as linked text. If you mention your phone number within a text block, you can hyperlink it to your phone number by adding the following HTML to your text block’s source code:  <a href="tel:+18881235467">1-888-123-5467</a>.   Add it as a button. Drag and drop a button into your message. Add an appropriate call to action in the Button Text field, and instead of a Link URL, add “tel:+18881235467”  Be sure to replace the example number with your own number, and keep the same formatting as in the example.

How to display product regular price and discounted price in the product block in Klaviyo?

Hello,In my email content in Klaviyo, I added a product block into the email. Right now i can link the products either from the feed or from the catalog. It shows the products ok with only 1 product price. I would like it to show 2 product prices, one is for regular price with a strike across it and the second one is the discounted price . I can’t seem to figure this out or if Klaviyo even support it. Anyone here know how to do this or if you know this is even possible in Klaviyo? Thanks

How to Add Dynamic and Static Coupons to EmailsTutorial

Depending on the type of message you're sending, there are two different ways to add a link to an email in order to automatically include a coupon to the recipients cart. Why is my link for Abandoned Cart taking me to my homepage instead?

Hello! I am wondering how I can add a link (not a button) to my abandoned cart flow that would take the email recipient back to their cart. I see that Klaviyo allows you to do this for a button, but not sure how to do it with a particular link.

Setting Up A Forward To A Friend Link [or Button]

Rather new to Klaviyo and am trying to find a solution to adding a Forward to a Friend link or button at the bottom of our emails. Some platforms have widgets or block with this functionality built in, but Klaviyo does not appear to, and I have had no luck finding a solution to this in the Help Docs.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Text over Image in Section in New Template Editor

Hello! I’m working to make myself familiar with the New Template Editor so that I can rebuild and redesign our campaigns and flows. I am really excited that Klaviyo’s editor now has the capability to overlay text and buttons on images with HTML. But I’m having a bit of a hard time trying to figure out how to use Sections. I’ve read the Help Center’s articles and Community posts about this similar issue, but I cannot for the life for me understand how to do so.Here are a few issues I’m stuck on:When I set an image to the background of the section, it doesn’t show the full image.  I can only add one block within the section. This would be okay if I was just overlaying text, but I cannot find a way to have more blocks exist in the section (ie, button)Can anyone please explain it to me a bit further or upload an example video of how to do it?

How to change link text color on NEW email template

Hi friends!I assume this would be an easy answer but I can’t seem to figure it out. With the old/previous “editing templates”, I had no issues changing the Link Text details however using the new/updating editing template, looks what's happening.New template link color #C88755email campaign test run: shows blue link text color when I want #c88755As you can see I'd like to change Link Text color to #c88755 however, when I test out a campaign and view this in preview, it’s blue! Targeting blank values for conditional statements / IF ELSE content blocks

Hi all, Ok so originally I started writing this because i was struggling to hide / show content based on blank values but I found the article i needed and i’ve figured it out ...  . I’ll still post because it might be useful for someone but there’s also an extra question at the end that would be good to know for future reference!---I’ve been trying to get a text block to hide / show based on blank or no value i.e First_name has no value so display X instead. Example below is what i’m trying to do ;  I saw this example on an article which makes sense for use in a text block but i’m struggling to write valid syntax / target the value or no value i need which is firstname: {% if person|lookup:'Interested in Dogs?' and not person|lookup:'Interested in Cats?' %}    Like dogs? What is the best way to create a high resolution gif?

Hi everyone I’m curious, what are some tips or best practices for creating high res gifs?I have created a few, and the final artwork is of potato quality. However, I see other brands put out some nice crispy clean gifs in email and can’t figure out how to replicate the quality. To anyone putting out high res gifs in email, what are your secrets??

Is it possible to dynamically generate one time use coupon codes with WooCommerce?

Hello, Is it possible to dynamically generate a one time use coupon code in woocommerce using klaviyo. If I wanted to offer a 50% off code on someone's birthday I’d want to make sure that only they could use it and only once. But would need it to be automated.

Building a dynamic table block using event dataTutorial

Displaying relevant products is a staple of any email marketing strategy. None is more important than the use of a dynamic table block to highlight products users have abandoned or have purchased.Dynamic event data will only show when the email is inside of an event based flow (abandoned cart, etc). For this example, I will be talking about abandoned cart, but this process can be used with other event triggers as well. This data shows information on what the customer did when on your website. In a flow email, add in a table block. Under table settings, turn to Dynamic. Go to preview tool for started checkout, find the repeating beginning variable for each item. IE: for price, name, quantity each of these begin with ‘event.extra.line_items’. This repeating string will be used for the row collection under table settings. Add in just the repeating string for row collection, nothing else. So, event.extra.line_items under row collection. Row alias can be anything you want, this one word wil

Any way to "click and copy" discount code from an email?

Hi all,A client wants to allow customers to “click and copy” the Klaviyo discount code to their clipboard and be taken to the cart to “paste” that code into the coupon field.  I guess they’re trying to make it easier for a customer to use the coupon code, but I’m not sure how this can be done in Klaviyo email.

How can I add HTML code to my email templates?

As flexible as the editor is, there are many situations where you want to be able to add custom HTML/CSS code into the email template.  There are only three places where you can put  custom HTML.  The most common method is to add a "Text Block" and then click on the "Source" icon to add the HTML there.  You can also do this in the "Table Block" or in the “Split Block in the same way for the “Text” portion of the Block configuration.Here's a quick screenshot:

Issue Inserting GIF Files in Email

I’ve been trying to insert a GIF into a custom email. When I upload the file via the add image feature, it shows as a static file and not the moving GIF. Does anyone know how to get the GIF file to display correctly in an email template?
