email flow not sending customers emails

Hello! I have installed and uninstalled Klaviyo a couple times, to try to resolve this, and also because I couldn’t decide on a marketing app. I really enjoy Klaviyo and I want it to work for me so I was hoping someone could help me. So my business won’t launch until August 2nd. But what I did was i announced it on all social media platforms so i can collect email addresses. Then i downloaded Klaviyo and created a flow so all my new email subscribers could get an auto welcome email. It looks like shopify is integrated with Klaviyo and I can see all my customer email addresses on there. But the flow isnt sending out a welcome email to those previous subscribers. How can i fix this? I also see them on my profiles page, but not on the newsletter list. Also will it automatically send the email even if they add their email address to the shopify footer, not a klaviyo pop up? I really like Klaviyo and want to use it but i am honestly getting frustrated. please help haha.Thank you!! :)

Recharge and Klaviyo

Hi I am trying to integrate recharge with klaviyo using the public api key, however this seems to not be showing in my integrations tab within klaviyo. I have also tried via the recharge shopify app to authenticate with no luck - even though it says it’s connected.Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance

Failed payment flow not working

HelloI am creating a Failed Payment flow using the Failed Payment metric from the Stripe integration.According to the Integrations tab, there is a green border around the Stripe integration box. So this means that it has been fully synced and integrated.The webhooks between Stripe and Klaviyo are successfully set up. There are successful calls recorded by Stripe when I make a test order. Using the test order codes that would trigger a failed order, Stripe records these payments as failed. However, it is not showing up in Klaviyo. I have made a few failed test orders and none of these times does it show up on Klaviyo. It only shows that I have started checkout (Woocommerce). Hence my failed order flow is not triggered and no email has been sent.I found this in the Klaviyo documentation: How to integrate with Stripe on a failed payments flow and I was wondering what the flow trigger was as highlighted in the snapshot below.So I’m wondering why failed payments are not being recorded and a

Working in two accounts at same time

Hey,Does anyone know if or when you will be able to be logged into several accounts in different windows and work on them simultaneously?I want to be able to have UK account open on one window/screen and US account open on the other to be able to copy content. At the moment it only allows you to work within one account at one time.I hope this makes sense. Thanks Shelle

Gmail users not getting emails

I am using my custom made flow for my users to download E-book from my store, I have created a Embedded form the is sent to the list and triggered by a flow in 1 min the only problem i am facing at the moment is that my gmail subscribers are not getting email whereas its working fine with outlook users. Tried with both Double opt in  and single opt in.All gmail users gets rejected by soft bounce. Can any expert guide me what i have done wrong ?

Flow Not Populating with Recipients & Question on Random 50/50 split

Hi there,  I am having two different problems which I am a little confused about.  I am trying to send out automated emails 60 days after a person has made a purchase. I have tried doing this through ‘fulfilled order’ and through ‘made order’ however it doesn’t seem to be populating anybody. Nobody is waiting for this email and it hasn’t delivered to a single person. Everything is live, and it should send.  For another, I have after someone completes an order, putting them through a random 50/50 split. But one condition has 1432 ‘waiting’ and the other has ‘26’ waiting, and this number hasn’t gone up nor down. I am confused why these aren’t working, and I feel like I must be missing something obvious but I can’t work out what is going on after attending lectures and trying to read up on it. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Quick Newby Question - Can I reuse the same coupon code in a different flow?

I have a high value abandoned cart flow, where I am sending the customer a 15% off coupon code in one of the emails. Then in another email I’m reminding them, but I’m also using the coupon code label in the second email?  Does Klaviyo know that this is one flow and will use the same exact coupon code, or does the Flow create a new code per email?

Reappearing Lists

Hi,Deleted Lists keep reappearing in Lists & Segments. After deleting a list it will reappear a few hours later. Is there a way to permanently remove the list? Thank you

add to cart metric isnt syncing data in analytics

 I have been trying to get this metric working for days now. At first when i applied the snippet code to create the abandonment cart flow, it gave the green tick and said its working. After testing to receive the emails, i found out the ‘add to cart’ data is not being sent to klaviyo analytics. I have tried both methods for an ID and class notation but nothing seems to work.Above is a screenshot of the inspector tool hoving over my add to cart button. By the looks of it, I would use the ID but neither work. is there maybe a slight change I need to make to help it recognise.I use the shopify theme ‘venture’ if that is any help.Any help would be amazing.Thanks

How Klaviyo Treats iOS Opens

After two years of coming to grips with Klaviyo I noticed something new today! Always exciting. This post/question is driven by the desire to be in a position where I can elegantly sift out sending emails to those that do not open over an extended period.Today, I realised that emails being viewed (at least in iPhone) are not registered as open, in Klaviyo, until the images are downloaded.So, this means that if a recipient’s phone is set to not “Load Remote Images” in the settings, like mine is, Klaviyo does not show that the article has been opened, even though it could have been fully read without downloading.  Once the images are downloaded, Klaviyo registers the openThere may be something in the Klaviyo resources but I haven’t spotted it, if there is. I don’t know if this is part of the iOS changes or not but, either way it is an issue because if I am sending follow ups to those that Did Not Open the first, some users are unnecessarily getting two emails. That would drive me crazy!S

Email newsletter - customers only receiving the confirm your subscription email

I CREATED A POPUP, BUT MY CUSTOMERS ARE NOT RECEIVING THE EMAIL I CREATED FOR NEW SUBSCRIBERS AND NEWSLETTER SIGN UPS.THEY ARE JUST GETTING A CONFIRM YOUR SUBSCRIPTION EMAIL.

Pop ups skewed

We have one pop up on each store on Shopify and each store is linked to separate Klaviyo account. Suddenly, the pop ups style skewed now and I didn't change anything in the code or in the format.  I don't know what's the problem with it. Please advise. Cheers,

How to remind a subscriber (in a flow) of their dynamic coupon code?

This seems like it’s a simple thing, but for some reason I am blanking on how to set it up. Context:On shopify, I have a Welcome flow with a dynamic coupon (so that it can truly expire in X days). I present the coupon in the welcome flow (on the conditional logic branch that they have 0 purchases all time) using the standard syntax via Klaviyo docs. What I would like to do is on Day X-1, send a 24 hr reminder to people who still have not used the code (understand I may have to just brute force this by a logic filter of 0 purchases again) that their code is still good, but expires in 24 hours. My question is: how can I make sure that showing the code again is the same code as email one (day 0) and not a new code which starts the X days countdown all over again?Thanks for any insight! Mike

Integrating email & SMS opt ins with Shopify account registration form

Is there a recommended approach to adding opt in checkboxes for accepting email & SMS with a Shopify account sign up form?I’ve built a basic form with just the checkboxes, but Klaviyo warns that for the opt in blocks to work, they need a corresponding Email field block and a subscribe button block. But those fields/buttons will be taken care of by the Shopify sign up page template. So I am confused  Hate to reference a juggernaut  but, Fashion Nova does it well on their account sign up page:

Error with popup and signup sheets?

Hi:I’ve attached some images, it seems like my popups are sending the subscribers to the right list butonly ½ of them actually manage to get to the list place?My settings make me think that they click the popup, get an email, double opt in and are then added to the list. Not sure what i’ve done wrong...

Any issue with blank cell values when importing a list?

Hi folks, I have a list of subscribers to import. Some of whom were already in Klaviyo, some were not. I removed the already existing profiles from the exported list, and basically have “email”, “First Name” and “Last Name”. There are a lot of name fields that are empty. Some hade problematic info in them, like duplicates of the email address, strings of numbers or the person had entered the business name etc. I’ve cleaned up my list and ready to export the .csv for import into Klaviyo - are there any issues with importing/mapping a list with some cell values blank?Thanks!

Hey! I want to look in-depth into my list growth of all my customers and was wondering if customers that opt in for marketing will land into the “Newsletter” list, where would ALL my customers (regardless of their purchasing behaviour & including customers that opt out from marketing) land in?  Thanks in advance!

(Optional) at check-out

I discovered this box while testing my site for bugs; I did read the other thread about it (mysterious checkbox on woo) and no matter what I do here, the checkbox is still there regardless - until I deactivate the plugin itself. What do I do? I feel this will definitely deter a potential customer considering they don’t know what’s being optional. Thanks!  Using woocommerce as well, all plugins up to date.

Profile property updates and profiles being excluded from a flow

Hi Folks, I’ve created a custom property called “Global Welcome Flow” with a value of either “active” or “complete” with the idea of excluding someone from promotional emails when they are still new and in the welcome flow.When the profile starts in the flow, it’s updated to “active”, when they reach the end of the flow, the property is updated to “complete”.What I would like to know, is if the customer places an order at some time BEFORE completing the rest of the welcome flow, are they going to be stuck with the property of “active” because the flow filter “placed an order X times since starting this flow” has prevented them from continuing through?Thank you!

Using Klaviyo on http site

Hello,anyone know how to use Klaviyo on a http site? Klaviyo is added to the site, but an error is thrown:“Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'http://a.klaviyo.com/api/onsite/identify?c=xxxxx' from origin 'http://xxx.xxx.xx' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.”It only works if the site has https.Cheers,Danny

Shopify order paid by bank transfer

Hi everyone,I want to inform our customers if we received a bank transfer payment.That means an order is placed with payment method bank transfer → money arrives at our bank account → we set the order from unpaid to paid in Shopify → email should be sent automatically.Now, I am searching which trigger this could be in Klaviyo to inform customers automatically that we received the money and that we updated the order.Many thanks for your ideas.BestChristian

Dynamic Insert Product Image

How do I dynamically insert a product image into an email. For example on a Cart Abandoned flow or a Browse product Flow, I want to insert the exact product the user browsers or added to cart to make things more personal.
