Why did my Manually Imported List from a CSV Disappear?

I uploaded a csv of about 30 contacts when I created my Klaviyo account. I confirmed they were all there, then cancelled my MailChimp account. I logged into Klaviyo today and the profiles were all gone. Hopefully these are recoverable?

Canceling a campaign mid-send: how do you resend without emailing people that already received the original campaign?

Your first step in this situation should be to create a segment of customers who received the first campaign. This segment will then be excluded from your secondary send to ensure that you don’t double email any profiles.  To create this segment, head to your Lists & Segments tab and click to create a new segment. Once you have named your segment, choose the following definition: What someone has done (not done) > Received Email > at least once, then filter by your Campaign Name  When you create your second campaign, choose to target the same lists or segments from the original send and exclude the segment that you just created to ensure that customers do not receive multiple emails.  Happy sending!

Cannot track Started Checkout WooCommerce

Hi there,I just discovered Klaviyo, the possibilities to boost our e-commerce seem crazy!I've done the Woocommerce integration, all the events are correctly uploaded in Klaviyo EXCEPT the Started Checkout ones.This is clearly a problem for my abandoned shopping cart flow. 😢Do you have an idea why only this feed doesn't come up?Can you help me?

How to capture profile interests the most efficiëntly?

Why are customers who accept marketing in BigCommerce being added to the newsletter list, but are not triggering the Welcome Series?

For those with a  BigCommerce store, there is a default setting in place that prevents people who accept marketing at checkout from automatically receiving the welcome series. A welcome series flow is designed with brand new visitors in mind. These are people who have never before been exposed to your business. People who accept marketing at checkout could be new to your brand, or they could have purchased from you a few times before, which would mean it might not be appropriate for this person to get queued up for your welcome series. This said, this setting is completely optional! If it makes more sense for your brand to be sending welcome series emails to customers that accept marketing at checkout, please contact our Success Team to have this setting adjusted.

I have been noticing several deliverability issues with our long code sends. We have about 10 that was recommended. Has anyone made the investment in a dedicated short code and have this solve deliverability issues? We have always provided opt out language in all messaging.

Why is my Duplicated Flow not Sending the Correct Content?

Hello - Recently, we duplicated a flow and updated the content.  When a customer triggers the flow they are being sent the OLD version of the content.  We cannot figure out what is wrong - we even deleted the old content - and the problem persists!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!Rick

Why is my Zapier integration with Klaviyo not working?

We are using Zapier to create an event in Klaviyo and initially it worked with the same setup and now it's not working . It just says the error 0 (Filure). Is there a way you can check in your system what went wrong, am I being blocked due to any security reason or is there a rate limit, or if there is something I am missing? How can I find out more debug info on the exact cause of error? Thanks,

how do I delete email addresses (@amazon.com) from my lists?

I imported customers emails from another email marketing provider and I have a lot of amazon.com customers in the list.  How do I delete those emails from the customer lists so they stop sending to these temporary amazon.com accounts?

Trigger for Package Delivered Using Ship Station & Shopify

We have Klaviyo connected to our Shopify store and we are using Ship Station as our carrier that is also connected to Shopify.What we want to do is send out an email from Klaviyo based on a trigger of when the shipment is actually delivered.Has anyone done this?Thanks!

Shopify Not Integrating - Why isn't Double Opt-In Adding to List?

 I have brand new Shopify store that is set to launch in a couple of weeks and I am really struggling with the Klaviyo integration. I have been following the step by step onboarding checklist and have been stuck in Phase 1 all week. I'm ready to pull my  hair out!I've successfully completed the integration but things seem to only be working intermittently or not at all. I am using the Impulse them on my store and have added the necessary code to the liquid files for my pop up and footer newsletter subscription (part of the theme). I also have double opt in enabled on the Shopify side. When I subscribe to the newsletter in either location with my wagandwonder domain email addresses everything seems to process correctly for the most part. The only issue here is that I get 2 confirmation emails, one from Shopify and one from Klaviyo. When I accept both of these, the profile is successfully added in Klaviyo and the users also appear under the newsletter list. When I disable double opt in o

Does deleting a list or segment delete the profiles from my Klaviyo?

The short answer is: Depends on where you delete the lists.I want to delete the list or segment, NOT the profilesIf you are browsing your Lists & Segments tab and decide to delete a list or segment from there, rest assured you will not be deleting the profiles on those lists! You will only be deleting that specific grouping of people. To delete a list or segment, select the three dots to the right of the list and select delete.I want to delete a specific group of profiles from my Klaviyo accountIf however you do want to remove the profiles in a list or segment, go to Account > Settings > Profile Maintence and select the list or segment of profiles you wish to permanently remove from your Klaviyo account. It’s important to note that when you delete a profile, you delete all of the data associated with the profile from Klaviyo, and you will be unable to include any past purchases in Klaviyos analytics. Depending on your needs, you may want to suppress those profiles instead. Ha

Lists versus segments: what's the difference?

A list is a static collection of people’s email addresses and/or phone numbers grouped under an identifiable label. They contain anyone who has subscribed to the list and will only grow or shrink as people either subscribe or unsubscribe. Sign Up Form - Email Result to Myself

Hello,So we have a catalog request sign up form that when user submits triggers us to mail them a physical catalog. Is there a way to have the contents of the form submitted (users name and address) to be emailed to us when user submits the form ?  I know we can set up a flow to do something after user is joined to a list after submitting form, but I do not see one of the options of the flow having an email sent to us with the contents of the form, or have parts of the users profile emailed to us (name, address) Thanks for any tips

How can I export the full HTML of one of my email templates?

If you haven't already, save your message as a template.Once you've saved your template, navigate to Email Templates from your main dashboard. Sending a campaign to multiple lists and segments: Will people receive multiple emails?

Maybe it’s the holidays or maybe you have a big product launch coming up! Either way, this is a use case where you’ll likely need to target multiple lists and segments with the same email. Klaviyo will not send the email more than once. Your campaign will know that is someone on more than one of the lists/segments included, and ensure that they only get the email one time! To include multiple lists or segments within the same campaign, use the Send to dropdown under the Recipients section of the campaign builder and select your audiences.Pro tip - you can search for your lists or segments by typing in their names or scroll through the dropdown until you find the ones you’re looking to target. Can I save campaign and flow messages as templates?

Yes, you can save any campaign or flow message as a template! For a campaign:From the Campaigns tab navigate into the campaign you want to save as a template. If it's not an A/B test, click on the three dots on the far right side of the row of the campaign. Click the option that says Add to Email Templates. However, if the campaign was an A/B test, you will need to clone the campaign, edit the variation you want to save, and click on the edit drop-down to find the Save as template button.For a flow:In the Flows tab, navigate to the specific flow message you want to save. Then, click Edit to go to the template preview. Here, click on the edit drop-down and select Save as template.

Where do Shopify tags appear in Klaviyo?

If you’ve set Shopify tags to be assigned to customer profiles after they signup for your newsletter, or through Shopify’s back end, you’re probably wondering where you can view these tags in Klaviyo.These tags are assigned to profiles as custom properties. You can see what tags have been assigned to a particular profile or to a group of customers. To view an individual customer’s Shopify tags, click into their profile and scroll down to the Information box. What is the difference between the browse abandonment, Added to Cart-triggered abandoned cart, and Started Checkout-triggered abandoned cart flows?

The browse abandonment flow captures tracked Klaviyo profiles that have viewed a product but not started a checkout or placed an order.The Added to Cart-triggered abandoned cart flow is intended to notify tracked Klaviyo profiles that added an item to their cart, but did not trigger a checkout or place their order.The Started Checkout-triggered abandoned cart flow captures tracked and non-tracked customers who have entered their email at the first step of checkout.Each flow targets a different step in the purchasing process and all flows should be set to skip profiles that have either started a checkout or placed an order since starting the flow. How can I track a profile that has clicked on a Facebook Ad?

I know there’s a way to do this via a lead form, but what if you just clicked on an ad? Is there some combination of Facebook Pixel, Klaviyo.js/cookie that would allow this to work? Happy to do any amount of custom integration needed. Thanks!Michael

Pasting code via the editor

Hi There, I’ve tried on a few occasions to paste code via the editor. Opening a new text box, tapping Source and “pasting” when I do tap “Source” all the editor tools go light grey and I see a message in the bottom of my browser saying “Javascript : void (“paste”)”Any help as to why this is occuring? I’m trying to integrate Four Sixty code into my Welcome Series. Thanks.
