Marketing

Hey everyone!I have a question that i honestly never found an answer for.Let’s say that someone just gave their email thru a pop-up and they abandoned their cart for exampleDo they get the welcome series and the abandoned cart flow emails at the same time?

Hi,We’re sending emails to different markets (countries). Basically it’s the same email just translated in the native language of the market we’re sending to. Recently, our emails in the Spanish market have taken a huge hit in terms of open rate. What could be the possible causes, and how do we remedy it? There was a period from mid-January to mid-February (almost a month), where we were not able to send emails and this was the point where we saw a steep decrease in our open rates. Our DMARC and sending domain have been properly setup but it seems that we’re still getting low open rates. Appreciate your assistance or insights regarding this matter

UPDATE: It updated after about 10 minutes. Hi,I’ve recently installed Klaviyo Reviews on my site but despite having reviews added to products by verified buyers, the star rating is still 0. https://shopannieg.com.au/products/cha-cha-linen-lounge-setIs this a bug? If so when can this be fixed?

Hey guys, Hoping someone can help me here. A client of mine has a decent email database, but when they set up the sign-up form on their website, something hasn’t connected with the consent. As a result they don’t have consent to email most of their database. Is there a way to send a one-off flow with the option to “officially” subscribe? I was trying to work out if there’s a way to embed a sign-up form, and maybe offer a discount? Appreciate any help or insights!

Am working on a clients projects which already has Omnisend account and also has 2434 contats list on her Omnisend account but couldn't get how export it to Klaviyo but the surprising part is that on the New Klaviyo account,I also saw that she has total profiles of 529.So my question is 1. Am not sure of how to move the email from Omnisend to Klaviyo 2. Does that mean all the contacts list has been synced on Klaviyo automatically or I still need to export the one on Omnisend? Thanks in advance

Hey there, I’m trying to figure out why our coupon flow is not working properly. We’ve created 2 flows. Both require minimum spend amount for a gift with purchase (i.e. 100% off product). Both generate codes at send time and expire in 7 days after the send. These flows have initial email triggered when people are placed into a certain list. Then a reminder to use their coupon after 3 days. And another reminder after 3 more days. Currently we are having customers reaching out to us saying their codes are not working even though they reach the spending amount in their carts. Also when I look at the coupons it says there are 26611 generated but only 99 available.  How do we fix this issue??

Hello community, I have created a Shopify coupon in klaviyo, which should expire after one hour. If I then click on the three dots to create codes, the link "add codes" is missing, what can I do? If I change the setting that the coupon should never expire, the link is displayed and I can create codes. Thank you for your help.thomas

Hi Everyone,I'm encountering a concerning issue with one of my client's accounts. Specifically, Yahoo profiles are repeatedly marking emails as spam, which has caused the deliverability score to drop significantly from 80% to 68% in just a few days.Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Any advice on how to address this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

I must be super thick as I cannot seem to get my head around these profile statuses. One client has:Listed as Subscribed on Shopify Klaviyo property shows as ‘Email never subscribed’. Accepts Marketing = TrueI have sync turned on for Shopify - Klaviyo, yet customer appears subscribed in Shopify and Never Subscribed on KlaviyoI understand that Accepts marketing Shopify custom property, what I don’t understand is am I safe to send them regular camping emails?I can assume this person is counted as an Active Subscriber but -Is this person subscribed or not subscribed?Which value am I to believe?HALP!! Have reached out to support but clarification was not clear. Have read online but info appears to be 3 years old or so, so not keen to trust its accuracy.

Is there a way to integrate a Klaviyo Opt in into a Zendesk form?We would like to embed an enquiry form for customers via Zendesk in our shop, which can be used to request a product for testing. Within this form, I would like to ask for consent to send mails for feedback in compliance with GDPR.

I have been running a signup form through Klaviyo for several months.  It started out really strong at roughly 5% submit rate and then dropped to about 1.5% submit rate.  Nothing changes as far as type of traffic, nor did we change the form or anything related to the form. As a test we ran a popup form with converflow.com (and linked it up to the normal welcome flow series with klaviyo) and the next day it jumped up to a 3%+ submit rate.  I made the form basically the same as the klaviyo one. This tells me there must be some issue going on. For added context, we use woocommerce for our website. Has anyone ever seen something like this?  Its great that the converflow one is getting up double the signups, but it would of course be easier to continue using klaviyos.  Additionally, it would be great if we could get this rate back up to the 5% is was at a couple months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What Plan for ONLY Sign-up Form?

Do we have option for automatically close sign-up forms popup after submit successfully

HiWe're experiencing issues with our email designs looking great initially, but then becoming distorted. If  we edit a message directly in Klaviyo using text, how can we prevent misalignment, such as paragraphs suddenly dropping or extra spaces appearing? What are the best practices for creating well-designed messages with a lot of text directly in Klaviyo, including images and buttons?

My client wants to offer a different incentive to customers coming from Google in the abandoned checkout flow. Is it possible to identify people coming from this source? If so I’ll be able to create the path for them and the messaging. I just need to know if it’s doable and relatively easy. Thanks

Hi all, I’m wondering whether it’s possible to require double opt-in for customers who subscribe to our newsletter via the forms on our site, but not require it for people who opt-in when checking out via POS. We have a small store and we also do several shows per year. We offer a small gift to people who subscribe to the newsletter upon checkout. However, I recently set up a new welcome flow, and when I was looking to see if it was working as intended, I realized a recent store customer who had accepted marketing when being checked out on the POS, was not in the newsletter list. His Shopify profile says “accepts marketing”.His Klayvio profile says Accepts Marketing = True His Klayvio Profile also says Email: Never subscribed.  I’m wondering if this is because he received a double-opt in email and didn’t click it. Which leads me back to my question: it looks like the double opt-in on the newsletter list is either on or off, no in between. Is there any way to have Shopify integrations av

I'm in the process of setting up a form to gather customer information for a competition, and I need to ensure that this data seamlessly enriches our customer profiles in Klaviyo. I'm evaluating whether to use Klaviyo’s native form builder or a third-party tool like Typeform, which we already have an account with.My main requirements are:Seamless Integration: The data collected must automatically update the profile properties in Klaviyo without manual intervention. Dynamic Location Fields: The form needs to have a dynamic dropdown for location (e.g., selecting a country should automatically update the state options). Accurate Data Tagging: It's crucial that the data is accurately tagged and synced in Klaviyo to ensure we can segment and personalize communications effectively. What I’d like to know:Comparison of Tools: What are the pros and cons of using Klaviyo’s form builder versus a third-party tool like Typeform, particularly in terms of ease of use, integration capabilities, and dat

I'm attempting to prevent people going through my abandonment flows—Browse Abandonment, Checkout Abandonment, and Cart Abandonment—from receiving campaign emails. The goal is to keep the messaging super targeted and prevent customers who are nearly about to purchase from getting distracted.Plan:To achieve this, I'm planning to update the profile property at the start and end of these flows. These profiles will then populate a segment that I will use to exclude from campaigns.Question:Do you know if a customer going through any of the abandonment sequences will have their profile property updated by Klaviyo if they leave the flow via a filter on the trigger or profile, versus leaving the flow by completing it naturally (reaching the end and passing the conditional split)?I'm asking because when the customer enters the flow, their profile property will be updated. However, if they are filtered out (e.g., if they complete a purchase), they don't complete the flow path naturally and don't

The Welcome flow is triggered by the master list when a person submits a pop-up, and they’re added to the master list. However, when a non-subscriber visits the site and abandons the checkout while checking the opt-in box, they are also added to the same master list. This triggers both the Welcome flow and the Abandonment flow for that person.Given this situation, should I change the list structure—such as where new subscribers go or where opt-in box tickers are added—or would it be more effective to create filters in the Welcome flow to remove people who have entered an Abandonment flow? I’m looking for the best approach to ensure that customers are only entered into the appropriate flow without causing overlap or confusion.

I’m developing a service for providing monthly email marketing templates. At the moment, the entire process of modifying the templates with their own brand and product information, images and links is automated. This all happens externally to Klaviyo and saves immense amounts of time. But they still have to manually cut and paste each email into Klaviyo, manually schedule them to be sent, etc. I want to build out the final piece of the automation to allow a “publish to platform” component that would allow them to save all that time. Is this currently possible with Klaviyo’s backend API access or otherwise? Thanks!

Hi, We recently integrated into the new Klaviyo review feature and are having some issues. We want to send review requests to a batch of customers (we have a list created in Klaviyo) that were acquired customers before the Klaviyo review integration… so they haven’t been included in the ready for review trigger (my understanding is only customers AFTER the review integration, will be included in the ready to review list). They are all customers via Shopify and have the “placed order event” in their Klaviyo profile. My question is if I send them a campaign or flow via Klaviyo requesting a review and they do leave a review… will the review be verified? From reading the support threads, I know you can manually request a review but I think the review won’t show up as verified even if the customer is in Klaviyo and it’s recorded that they purchased that product in Shopify. Can someone confirm that is true? Can someone help me out here? We have a large list of happy customers, I would love to

Hi klaviyo communauty !Recently klaviyo released a block sign-up counter for forms.which you can see on the following link: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413550187035#h_01J4SQ3GYMYJX5P816JCQ09QQZExcept that in my klaviyo, I don't see this block. Can you help me?Thanks a lot!

Hi -I’m a developer exploring the possibility of implementing Klaviyo with a custom platform my company created at the request of one of our clients using Klaviyo on other platforms. tl;dr: I know very little about Klaviyo and how it works, and our platform has no existing integration with it - I am in the “exploring feasibility of this project” stage.I want to create a relatively-simple, server-side-only api implementation for specific user event tracking (site activity, orders placed, etc).  I want to be able to do this without heavy user/product management, and by using identifiers the system already has (e.g., manufacturer part number, user email address, etc).Is this possible? We have a custom-built B2B platform used by a number of distributors.  We have recently been approached by one of our clients who is using Klaviyo on another platform and asked if we could implement the user activity-tracking features (specifically visiting site, viewing products, adding cart, checkout, orde

I'm looking to identify our best customers and understand their common traits. Here's what I have in mind, and I'd appreciate any step-by-step guidance: Data Source: Should I use BigCommerce, Klaviyo, or both to find this information? How do the data points from each platform complement each other? Metrics to Focus On: Order Frequency: How often are these customers making purchases? Number of Orders: What’s the total number of orders placed? Lifetime Value: What is their total spend? Steps to Identify Top Customers: In BigCommerce: What reports or tools should I use? In Klaviyo: How do I segment these customers based on the above metrics? Analyzing Common Traits: Once identified, what methods or tools can I use to analyze these customers' behaviors, preferences, or demographics/psychographics within Klaviyo? Actionable Insights: How can I use this information to create targeted campaigns and strategies to attract and retain more customers like them? Any detailed steps, strat
