How to change link text color on NEW email template

@Drazdauskas - there has not been a hardcoded fix to the (“solved”) issue.What you can do is (manually - to each template/universal content block) is change the default Unsubscribe and View Online to {% web_view_link %} and {% unsubscribe_link %} then you can add HTML parameters around it that will stick - like link text and color.For example:<span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="{% unsubscribe_link %}" style="color: #999999; font-weight: 400;">Unsubscribe</a></span>. See its really simple and not a giant design flaw effecting 100% of klaviyo users….

Visibility of people waiting in flows

Thanks @stam_marko this is relevant in every flow and every type of wait not just the specific example I shared.The one I shared was a significant example as there are 100k people waiting but even if it is a cohort waiting at an email send activity in a normal flow with email 1 today and email 2 sent 2 days later - if you just click on the “View Activity” hyperlink it will not show a summary or roll up view of how many people will be getting email 2 on any specific day - and I know I can bust out a calculator and work out how many people entered the flow each day and calculate how many should be getting it today or tomorrow etc - but that is super prone to human error and these flows don’t always act the way I’m predicting them to. this specific flow was meant as a slow drip feed of our past clients that were migrated into the system, and because we didn't want all 130k to get the each email all at the same time and overload our capacity I added random splits with various Time delays s

Adding personalization into subject lines

Thanks @stam_marko I have not used that page before and its a good thing to have bookmarked, but it does still require a secondary source to copy and paste from - I have made my own little Notepad of the common fields I reference with the “Default” text already filled in.I do think a simple button though would be helpful like in the email editor itself (and like many other EDS have)

How to change link text color on NEW email template

Hi everyone, I've been having this same issue for months and tried every code change and ended up with things looking fine in editor then spitting out HTML into the preview: The default link color is a grey and invisible for our unsubscribe and web view links.I finally found this page and changed the default {% web_view %} that the “Add Personalization” button creates to the suggested {% web_view_link %} as posted above and it is now working - but that was a lot of headache to discover and edit the code the system spits out.After over a year of this thread’s existence…. PLEASE just update the default personalization button to spit out a functional code string so literally 100% of Klaviyo customers don’t need to fumble around your support pages to hopefully find this thread! Having an invisible unsubscribe and view online link is not okay!Thanks :)

Using show/hide blocksTutorial

This is really cool thank you for all of the resources on how to set this up - I am looking forward to diving in.All of the guides seem to be focused on profile properties, is it possible to have show hide rules based on behaviors?Specifically I have a flow going out to new purchasers 3 days after purchase and would like to offer them any add-ons they didn’t buy in their initial purchase - but do not want to display anything they did buy.Similarly with new leads, I have one header banner that gets the most engagement, I would like it to be the first one any lead sees when they open our emails - even if they only open email 3 or 4 in the flow I would like them to see the banner from email 1 (but obviously hide it from anyone who has opened any of our emails until now)So, in short, I’d like to Show/Hide based on “Ordered Product” and on “Opened Email” behavior triggers, is that/how is this possible. Thank you again for your continued awesomeness.

Segments with "Contains" instead of Equals and other hardcoded limitations

Thanks @David To, I am concerned that this was raised a year ago and “shared with the product team” but there does not seem to be any actual changes implemented into the segment builder tools.I do understand that different data fields are set up differently, but I don’t understand why that should limit what segmenting options are available to us.I’d like to select anyone whos order starts with “Offline” or anyone whos product contains the word “Bundle” to differentiate them from people who bought individual products - the naming conventions of our “Bundles” have fluctuated wildly over our companies history and are not always selectable from a drop down list as a new “Bundle” may be introduced tomorrow and I would need it to automatically be included in my segment.I really don’t mean to be a bother, but if the segmenting power of Klaviyo is one of your selling points and there have been limitations and issues that have been pointed out to the product team over the years… this maybe shou

@EMail1Dude Im, trying to use the link you shared (https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.xml) and I cant even get the template to see it. What are you using for the Content Repeat rules and for your variables? didn’t workNone of these worked either even plugging all the data and klaviyo instructions into ChatGPT and asking for specific steps and code suggestions were not able to get it to work for me!

I was having the same issues and found using the striptags filter works{{ item.body | striptags | truncatechars:250 }} Some of these fields don’t return any values though:This is the data:As you can see the URL just gives me the JSON code and is not something I would want recipients to click on - I would want them to click on the “htmlUrl” to give them a clickable link…. but that field/variable does not want to populate - I cannot tell the difference about how one field will or wont work?Also this sample data link does not have any images embedded to test with. So if anyone has a JASON link and data that they don’t mind sharing for testing and mapping purposes that be great :)

Can I build filters or segments based on timing between variables?

Thanks - I did change the attribution definition but it does not updated retroactively - so from now on any new attributions will be based on clicks, but is there a way to report on the past conversions?

How do I add segments for the metrics tab

Thanks - So is there a way to save those filters to overlay and compare different segments - I’m looking at orders placed and graphing them by Attributed Message and it would be great to see how different flows or messages compared in this conversion metric. Cheers

Got it thanks, this list isn’t exportable and it doesn’t show totals - so there will still be some cross referencing back and forth for now.What reporting tool would you recommend to API link with to get good email/conversion metrics for Klaviyo?

Thank you!This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for.I am having a bit of trouble in testing it though, using the guide and the link that Klaviyo provides as there are no images in that link I cannot test how it would render, also many of the liquid filters I’m trying to apply to it in the variable fields are not working great (like pulling in the htmlurl or trying to strip_html from the Body field)Does anyone have a more robust JSON URL I can use for testing - (so I can get proof of concept before I brief our web team to rebuild our blog in this format)Thank you :)

Flow sending double at each communication stage

Thank youI set the flow filters hoping to exclude anyone who Either made any purchase OR were in the flow in the last 16 days - I realized that the way the filter was set up it was as an inclusion rather than an exclusion - so it was letting anyone in as long as they fit either one of the reasons I was trying to exclude people - it all makes sense just felt less intuitive for an exclusion (I don’t want to exclude only past purchasers who ALSO have been in the flow (an AND statement), I wanted to exclude both criteria so I used an OR, unfortunately that had the inverse effect)So I fixed it to have the flow filter only exclude people who entered in the last 16 days and added a conditional split before the first email that exited anyone who has made a purchase.I also switched on smart sending (for now) although this flow is planned to be top priority regardless of the other emails customer may or may not have recently received - So we will probably switch that back off as new flows are bu

Error in welcome flow analytics?

Thanks - I’m sorry if the tone of my post was more blunt/direct then necessary and I do appreciate the communal nature of the support community.We are using Outlook in the office here, and maybe Android on my phone does a “robot” security click on the SMS link? but if that is the case then my sms link clicking reporting will be off by a fair margin if every phone “clicks” the link before the owner has a chance to view it - guess we’ll track it from GA.I’m concerned about the delivery rates of our emails and the new “Spring 2023 Klaviyo Product Event: Feature Walkthrough” webinar this morning went over the new delivery tracking tools - but it does not look like it will be available for Flow triggered email sends just yet… and that it where 95% of our emails will be sent. Thanks again

Editing the Time Delay of a live flow - not working

Wow - thank you, so the time delay just tags the records with how long they should wait once they his the next activity? so if I alter the wait after they pass it they no longer get the tag…. That makes sense, and should be kay for my flows moving forward - but ya too late for this cohort that went out today - but at least I know how to set everything else up moving forward. Thank you

Editing the Time Delay of a live flow - not working

In the example I listed above I made the edits while contacts were in the flow, some of them at the Time Delay I was editing (but many were not yet).What I am concerned with is, ALL of my flows have been “live” with only a 1 min wait and an entry filter to only allow people with my email address to entre the Flow. The plan was to remove that filter and fix the wait times for when we are ready for customers to go through the Flow.Now I am worried that the emails will all go out in only 1 min waits.

duplicate/clone a conditional split

Thank you, I think this may be an “easy win” the dev teams can add to their next sprint as this is a default feature in every other EDS I’ve used and should not require too much actual trouble shooting. Please also update this 2 year old thread to not be listed as “Solved” as the feature has not yet been implemented...

duplicate/clone a conditional split

I am having the same problem trying to exclude people who have added specific products to their cart from receiving the “Added to Cart” flow.Not only can I not duplicate these conditional splits, but I cannot even add a string of values separated by commas but need to add an ”OR” statement and remap each value I’m trying to exclude.We can duplicate wait tags and send activities, but the logic that ensures consistency and correct audience match and relevancy needs to be done manually and be subject to human error for every split in a complex flow?? Please schedule to update this basic functionality in the next release!

How to change link text color on NEW email template

Hi, I am having a similar issue form the other side - our links are defaulting to a grey nearly invisible color and I cannot seem to edit them no matter what I try - please help!Tried making the text bright red just to test Link still doesn’t come through - tried editing it in the code and it looked like it was working I really don’t get it, the same issue was happening with the unsubscribe link but this code snippet fixed it in the footer, maybe because this is a dynamic link Klaviyo is struggling to let me style it? Please help :)

if it is only 1 row, 2 columns - Image on one side, description on the other, would you not be able to use multiple “Split” content blocks to kind of build your own table with them.You can then set the stacking order for each of them individually so they stack image description, image description etc.If each set needs multiple cells/rows that need to stay grouped as you wrap to mobile, then the “Columns” layout should be able to manage that.
