Placed order vs. Ordered Product Events: What's the difference?

If you have an ecommerce integration added to your Klaviyo account, you’ll see both Placed Order and Ordered Product events in your account. But what is the difference and why does Klaviyo include both?Placed OrderEvery order in your e-commerce store will generate one Placed Order event for the entire order. This event will include all line items, the value of the order, the categories or collections the products are from, item count, and other important information that pertains to the entire order. Placed Order value will equate to the total order value, including shipping and any applied discounts.Ordered ProductOn the other hand, Ordered Product events occur for each individual item ordered. These events don’t include information about the overall order, but have more detailed information about the individual item purchased, such as sku, or different variations and product attributes. Webflow/Klaviyo signup form integration

I want to add a signup form to an existing Webflow page that adds users to a list in Klaviyo. Do I need to embed a Klaviyo signup form on the Webflow page or can I have a Webflow form call Klaviyo in Javascript and just POST the user’s contact information to Klaviyo somehow?

Exclude products from abandoned cart emails

Hello!I am wondering if it is possible to exclude certain items from the dynamic table block for the abandoned cart e-mails. Or only include certain items/ collections. These are items that are “in” their cart but I do not want to send them to encourage them to finish checking out. For example I have the cloverly app for offsetting carbon footprint for shipping and I also have an app that I use to have multiple options for products. I don’t want these items showing in the abandoned cart e-mail. Is there a way to go about excluding these?Thanks so much for any help!Natalie

Back In Stock Button & Popup on Shopify Collection Pages

Hello! Is it possible to get the Back in Stock button to trigger on a Shopify collection page in addition to the product page? I’ve played around with it a little bit with no luck – I’m guessing a function within onsite.js would need to be modified, but wondering if anyone has experience with doing this before attempting anything. Thanks,Chris

Double Opt-In setup

Hi Klaviers, My ecommerce website is based on shopify and currently the emails are being triggered from Hubspot. Objective: I want to setup the double opt-in email first in Klaviyo.  Is the double opt-in email gets auto triggered ? I could see default opt-in email & success page. Or Do I need to setup from the flows ? Double opt-in is enabled for the Newsletter list.Does that mean that the list has the audience only with double opt-in ?  Is the double opt-in emails are being triggered ?  Little confused here. Can I copy over a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another Klaviyo account?

Yes! There is a two-step prcoess to copy a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another. These steps include:Save the campaign as a template Copy the template from one account to anotherTo save the campaign as a template, follow the instructions discussed in this Community post.To copy the template over to another account, navigate to the Email Templates tab and click the Edit dropdown to the right of the template you want to copy over. Next, click Clone.A modal will appear prompting you to optionally rename the cloned template and select the destination account. This is the account where the new template will be copied to. Then click Clone Template.Changes made to the original email template will not be reflected in the copied template. For more details head to the instructions in the article Copy Flows and Templates Between Klaviyo Accounts. For information around managing multiple Klaviyo accounts, head to Multi-Account User Privileges.

How to add a NS recordy type in Shopify to set up a branded domain

Hi, I am not sure if I am missing something here but I am trying to set up my branded sending domain. My website is built in Shopify, Klaviyo recommends the dynamic routing option which then asks me to enter a TXT record (no problem) and 4 NS records. What is an NS record? There is no option to add this in Shopify. Thanks in advance for your help!

How do you connect a WebFlow signup form to a Klaviyo list?

Hi there attempting to have webflow sign up people without leaving the site:I have tried setting up similarly to mailchimp but it doesnt seem to work, it re-directs to another sign up page where it requests the email again. Does anyone have a fix for this?Here are the settings:  bestob

Survey for Unsubscribers?

Hi! We’d love to have a quick question or two for those who unsubscribe from our email list(s). Just something to help us learn about why they unsubscribed. Hello. I can’t seem to find this answer anywhere. I am using the PRODUCT BLOCK in a campaign, and just want to change the photo to another colour. Is this possible? The photo would come from the same product - just a different colour. Using Shopify Thanks

Tracking Klaviyo Form Submission on Shopify as Facebook Lead Event

I have the FB pixel installed correctly via Shopify > Preferences and it's tracking my events. However, when using Klaviyo forms I am trying to track form submissions as lead events. As per Klaviyo instructions, I've added a callback to the bottom of my theme.liquid directly above </body><script> window.addEventListener("klaviyoForms", function(e) { if (e.detail.type == 'submit') { fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’) } }); </script> However, the fbq(‘track’, ‘Lead’) line is throwing this error in the console:  "Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token" (on page load, not form submit) and the event is not tracking on form submit. Any ideas where I've gone wrong and/or how to properly track Shopify/Klaviyo form submissions as leads in Facebook?

Input Text Field with Multiple Lines

Is there a way to add a text input field that is multiple lines (similar to the input box that I’m writing this question within). I see Klaviyo has a text input block for forms but it’s restricted to one line.  I would like to have multiple lines where user can right multiple lines of text with paragraph breaks.    Is this possible? If not, what other service provides this that can be integrated with klaviyo?

Hey, we have 5 different Klaviyo accounts and would like to add a few sign up forms. However, creating a new signup form for each of the accounts is really a pain.Is there a way to clone a signup form to another account like with the flows or templates?

Delete a profile via API

Hey is there a way to delete a profile via an API call ?i am able to unsubscribe the profile from the list but i still dont know how to delete the user profile. and the api page doesnt give me any information regarding that part.

How to mass (re)move profiles from/to a list

We needed to mass (re)move people from a list without unsubscribing, deleting or suppressing the profiles. For a client of ours we recently ran into an issue where we needed to mass remove various contacts from a list and add them to separate sub/smaller lists.Segmentation was not an option since we needed people to be subscribed to a list and not based on variables that could change. In this specific case it was a custom multilanguage shop with 1 Klaviyo account.An easy way to remove subscribers from a Klaviyo listKlaviyo does not provide an option to delete users from a list without manually removing them one by one. Why are my fonts changing once it's been delivered?

Hi there,What's the best way to set a font that shows up in all email providers? I’ve been using Century Gothic within my templates as it fits in well with my branding style, but it always reverts back to Arial when delivered to my subscribers. SMS Not Delivering

Hello, we recently set up our SMS campaign but no text messages have been delivered since starting it. So far it lists that 58 were “skipped”. Some of these we understand like no consent, failed trigger or invalid number but the majority of them say “Missing Number”.  We tried to test this out with a few employees of ours and we put our numbers in and initiated the flow but we did not receive the SMS message. We received the emails that we are expected to receive but for some reason we have not had a single SMS message deliver to anyone. Any idea what’s going on and what we can do? Should I create my templates in Figma or in Klaviyo?

Do you guys recommend constructing emails on Klaviyo’s editor or designing on figma and then slicing and inserting into Klaviyo? I like that the figma alternative gives you more customization but would like to know how everyone else is using Klaviyo.

I have a pop up from which I would like to pass page url information as a silent property so that the welcome email can mention that brand ( or even better shopify product vendor information ). Is this possible? Thanks in advance Sean
