Shopify - Add Custom Property on checkout

TL; DR: Using the Shopify Integration, how can I add a custom property to a profile created as part of the checkout flow.  This property is known by the website and doesn’t require user input. Context:I’m looking to use Klaviyo for review emails triggered after a product has been shipped. But I manage a multi-lingual store and want to make sure the user receives an email that corresponds to the locale they bought the product on. For context our site is a Shopify store built on Hydrogen and, to-date, I’ve disabled client side Klaviyo tracking.  I don’t want to enable it if I can avoid it for performance reasons.  I have a single Shopify store and Klaviyo instance for all of the regions the site is available in. My plan to localize these review emails is to add a custom property called `locale` onto the user profile as this closely aligns with how we show different content on the store itself.  I’ve noticed that when a user purchases a product a profile is created, and it’s populated wit

I'm having trouble with fake orders!

It seems a bot is filling out my sign-up form and then randomly placing orders for various items in my shop, as shown in the image below.Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how did you stop it?

Medical Supply Ecommerce Sites- Measuring Email Conversion

Hello! I am Not new to email marketing, but I am new to the medical supply industry and I am wondering what some of the average email KPI results look for these kinds of businesses. Both of the websites I work on sell single use, disposable medical products. Target audiences are clinicians and medical facilities. I don’t have a lot of historical data on past email campaigns, but I have sent out several campaigns so far and I am seeing zero conversions attributed to the emails. Majority of our revenue comes from organic search. I come from consumer retail industries such as pet supplies and consumer electronics. I am used to seeing emails convert to revenue almost automatically but that is not the case for the emails I have sent out so far. Open rates average about 20%, click rates from opened emails average about 30%. But then no conversions. Anyone on this forum work in the healthcare/medical supplies industry and have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

We have a multi-step Meta Lead Ad with some custom multi-choice questions. Is there a way to map the answers to an already existing custom property on the users profile? I know it’s possible with embedded and popup signup forms, but is it possible with the Meta integration? Thanks in advance!

Welcome email not sending when customers subscribe to newsletter

Hello. I’m having trouble with my welcome email not sending to customers when they sign-up for my newsletter. It works with my pop-up newsletter sign-up form but not with my embedded newsletter sign-up form. I’ve searched the forums and tried everything that was suggested and it’s still not working. Any suggestions on how to get this to work are greatly appreciated.

Bulk Upload Property Filters for a Segment

I have a list of around 300 custom properties we are using and I’d like to find a way to bulk upload them to a segment definition filter. Right now it seems like my only option is manually enter them as “OR” filters but this is very time consuming for so many properties. Surely there has to be an easier way to do this?

Issues with tag code disappearing and copy/pasting not working in text blocks

I’m having an issue where I’m writing conditional tags in the visual email editor, but then the tags disappear after I preview the email, then switch back to the visual editor.tags show in source code but not in visual editorI’m also having an issue with copying and pasting into the visual editor not working. Subscriber But No Opt In???

I’m trying to create an email campaign from my subscriber list but it seems that no one has actually subscribed even though I have 22 profiles. How can they use my subscription offer from a pop-up I created, give me their e-mail but not opt-in. They have to submit an email to get to the next screen for the discount code? Really confused here.

Help Needed: Setting Up a Dynamic Prelaunch Email Flow

Hi everyone,I'm starting an ecommerce pet business soon. We'll be launching our Coming Soon page soon, and I'm working on setting up a prelaunch email flow. I want to make sure that subscribers who join at different times still get a relevant and engaging experience.Here's what I have so far:Trigger: When someone is added to All Subscribers Welcome & 25% Discount email Wait 3 days: Brand Story email Wait 5 days: Product Education email Wait 7 days: FAQ emailThe issue I'm facing is that this setup is very linear and assumes subscribers join at the beginning of the prelaunch period. If someone joins part way through or with just a week left, they won't receive the emails in a timely manner.I’m wondering what the best way to go about this would be? Campaign with conditional blocks based on points balance?

Hi there! I am looking to create an email campaign that prompts our points program members to use their available rewards. I have rewards redeemable at the 500, 1000 and 2000 points marks. I am using the app Smile.io, and it integrates with Klaviyo so the customers points balances are available as a custom property (the custom property is called Smile Points Balance).Would it be possible to show conditional blocks to these customers based on available points range? I am new to using custom logic within Klaviyo.The set up I was thinking is: Customers with 500 - 999 points see the 500 points reward block onlyCustomers with 1000 - 1999 points see the 1000 points reward block onlyCustomers with 2000 + points see the 2000 points reward block onlyThe issue I am experiencing is that customers with higher balances will meet the requirements for all 3 blocks, but I only want them to see the block for the highest reward they qualify for. I know you can use custom logic to show numeric values as

All my email sign ups default to never subscribed

Hi,  I created a sign-up form with integration on my Shopify store. The email subscribers should be added to a newsletter list on submitting the form, but they don’t and their profile defaults to ‘never subscribed’.  How do I make sure they are added to the list and they are marked as ‘subscribed’? I’ve looked through all the form settings and I don't seem to find an option.  Is there a way to bulk move everyone that is now defaulted to ‘never subscribed’ but actually did to ‘subscribed’?  Seemed a pretty banal issue but I don’t seem to be able to crack it.  Thank you

There's a huge chunk of unattributed revenue recorded in the Growth Overview dashboard but I do not know what contributed to the unattributed revenue

How to get Subscriber Growth data via API

Mass Sync all Products in feed?

Good Morning, I use product feeds in Klaviyo to display sale items included in Smart Collections from Shopify. However, I am finding that lately Klaviyo is not updating the products in real time, and in some cases my Klaviyo product feeds are incorrectly showing items that are no longer on sale in my sale feeds, and are showing that products are in a specific smart collection even though they have long since been removed. The “last update” on these products ranges from yesterday to March. I know that you can force a re-sync of items by page, but is there a way to force a re-sync of our whole product catalog? With over 3000 products, going page by page is quite a timely task.  Thank you!

Email body is added to preview text add on iOS email app

Hi,  I’m working on a standalone email campaign with an html email template. I created a preview text and it works perfectly on most email client. With the iOS mail app the preview text I created also includes the body email text. I can’t find a way to fix it, this happens across multiple iOS versions. Has anyone seen it and can help fix it?

Onsite Opt-in for SMS pop up form

Hello,I am currently just looking to start SMS marketing, I have a number that I’m looking to port into Klaviyo that I haven’t done so and am still on the fence as to which company to go with. I came across this recent news of Postscripts new feature and I thought was really timely in my situation.  Postscript just released their Onsite Opt-in feature for sms pop up forms, where instead of leaving the website and going to the messaging app just to reply “Y” or “Yes”, a 4 digit verification code is sent to the visitor and they can just tap on the digits from their keypad to autofill the field on the pop up. Example:  The means that the new subscriber does not need to leave the website at all (better for sign up rates, better conversions, improves analytics tracking, etc.)  The increase in SMS sign up rate for True Classic more than tripled just from implementing this.Attached below is the screenshot of the SMS opt in rate for Jones Road after the Onsite Opt-in implementation. Jones Road
