Price drop flow triggered when price went UP?

Hi folks.I have submitted a query about this via email to support, but curious to see if I get any insight here without the time zone difference playing such a big factor.Essentially, we removed the sale pricing from some items in BigCommerce, returning them to their normal price. One of these items triggered the price drop notification email and I have no idea why!A secondary issue is that the same profile viewed about 5 other products that had their prices dropped enough that the flow should have been triggered, but it wasn’t.Smart sending is turned on, but I don’t see any data in the “skipped due to smart sending” section in the recipient report. Does anyone have any insight here?Thanks!

Back in stock notifications not working - BigCommerce

Hi folks, I’ve recently installed this following the Klaviyo documentation, however it doesn’t appear to be working. I’ve used the “inspect” tool in chrome and I can see the code snippet on the page for an out of stock item, but that’s about as far as my expertise goes with troubleshooting, and as usual, all the other posts I can find about this not working are specific to Shopify, rather than BigCommerce. Does anyone have any suggestions?Thanks!

Migrating from BigCommerce to Shopify

Hi folks,Later in the year we are moving from BigCommerce to Shopify. I’m aware of the doc here:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003124151… but I think I’m overthinking things. Migrating is essentially setting up a whole new Klaviyo account (with the same login credentials) correct? OR can I use the existing account, and turn off the BC integration and set up the Shopify one?Thanks!

(Multiple list consolidation) Excluding profiles that might opt-in later

Hi folks, So I’ve taken on some accounts where each has a “Newsletter” list, used for the typical default shopify integration plus a bunch of other ones created for various purposes. I’m consolidating them into a master list, and my thoughts were to create custom properties for the profiles in each of these “original” lists such as“Newsletters”, “Wholesalers” etc.One of these will also be ”Exclude From” = “All EDMs”. The reason being that there are multiple people in the organisation still using the lists for different purposes. Until the process of adding and emailing profiles is streamlined for everyone (and they’re not being actively added to) I’m leaving them as-is, but incorporating everyone else into the master.I will end up with a segment of profiles who have the custom property “Exclude From” = “All EDMs”.I’ve got a segment of these profiles that I exclude from newsletters, and my question is: If later via some outreach these profiles decide they now want to receive newsletters

"is empty" or "is not set" not working as expected? Profiles not entering segment.

Hi folks,I’ve just taken over an account and am in the process of consolidating 10+ lists into a master list, and to say it’s getting convoluted is an understatement.I’m at the point of creating a newsletter segment per below. The structure is Master List > Newsletter Segment.I created two test profiles who both entered the master list, but did NOT enter the newsletter segment. I confirmed subscription via the double opt-in message so it’s not that.At the moment the signup forms are only getting first name and email, and a lot of profiles currently have non-existent “content preferences” properties, so I wonder if it could be the circled options that are not effectively capturing the profiles who should be entering?  Help please, I thought I understood how this worked!

What is the most recent consent/opt-in field?

Hi folks, so I’m in the process of creating a new master list/single source of truth for a few accounts and trying to clean the data up first. Each account has multiple lists. Various profiles have values for “email marketing consent”, “Email Marketing Double Opted In”, “Accepts Marketing”, “Consent”.As far as I can tell, “Accepts marketing” is from Shopify, “Consent” is from Klaviyo and the others may be from different sources over the last couple of years. The lists were collected via various methods, not exclusively a newsletter signup or checkout opt-in.My question is - what is the most recent/most reliable source of “yes, this person wants marketing” data?

Restrict flow branch to people who only purchase items from a specific category

Hi folks,  I would like to make an additional branch to a post-purchase flow, that ONLY sends to subscribers who have:Purchased over a certain value The items in their order were in one category onlyIs this possible? I can get close with a trigger split, but I presume “contains” means people ordering products additional categories at the same time would also be included? Thanks!

Rebuild Cart Dynamically for BigCommerce

Hi All,Just want to raise this as it seems like a huge disadvantage for Klaviyo.I’d like to request the ability for persistent/rebuilt carts in the BigCommerce integration so that the abandon flows aren’t a negative experience for potential customers.It seems as though this is possible given that the arctic leaf app was able to provide the feature (although it currently isn’t working, at least for me) and the lack of this feature in the integration is already making me look at other ESP’s like omnisend. If I’d known this wasn’t possible in Klaviyo from the beginning I don’t know that I would have even signed up.

Feature request - Remove A/B test indicator from flow page when test complete

So I like the new indicator in the flow page when an AB test is present in a flow, but I think it would make sense to NOT show it once a test is closed. I see it and think “ah, a test is live” but that’s not always the case. Or a green/grey shade to the icon instead for active/inactive?

Bulk adding a new custom property prior to merging lists

So I created a bunch of lists, and have come to the conclusion that merging them would be a good idea. I’d like to make sure I have my process figured out correctly.First I will need to change the list ID referenced in our back in stock code snippet. I create a segment that pulls in every non-suppressed subscriber. Then, I export this segment and open it up in google sheets. To prevent a few list-triggered flows from sending to these contacts I will add a new profile property - something like “Merged List”/”True” then add a filter to the relevant flows excluding profiles with that property. Then, and I really want to confirm this part - I can re-upload a .csv… but from what I can tell from the Klaviyo docs, I don’t have to include everything associated with the profiles. If I just upload the email, and relevant new property, klaviyo will add the new property to the existing profiles and I can then proceed to convert the segment to a list. There is no risk of overwriting the existing pr

I understand that Klaviyo is using the timezone in the account settings, and that in some cases YYYY-MM-DD is preferred, but for non-Americans… when building a segment and a date is for example 02/03/2023, is that MM-DD-YYY?

Altering flow structure - retaining results?

Hi folks!Say I have a flow, and I tried some different conditional splits to test out some timing etc (this was done before the new A/B testing built into flows)… If I want to remove the emails at the end of the splits and refine how the flow is structured, will the reported performance of the flow as a whole stay the same, or will it “lose” whatever results were associated with the emails that are removed?

Google destination policy, popups and interstitials

I know Google likes to be secretive about specifics, but does anyone at Klaviyo have clarification on something like this:and whether it could be related to a Klaviyo popup? The site in question has a “call us” fly out type thing that is fine on desktop, but placed annoyingly right near your thumb (for right handed folks) on mobile. I wanted to test a klaviyo popup form teaser but the owner is getting pushback from the agency )that put the fly out there) that it would be “bad” because of the above. I think their addition to the site is the potential issue.

Overview dashboard - export to PDF problem/general issues

So it’s nice that we have this feature now, but there’s some stuff missing that would make it much more usable:I noticed that if you sort results in a card by say, revenue... the sorting does not “stick” when you export, which renders the whole thing a bit useless  Being able to resize the cards so you can read the text better (like the hubspot dashboards) would be amazingThanks!

I think this would be super handy - you preview an email and there is an option to copy a shareable link to send the preview to someone else. Hubspot has this and I think it’s worth just… copying?

"Placed Order" > Items - Determining quantity of each per order??

Hi folks, would appreciate some insight…What I’m trying to do:Build a flow that is in response to a product type being ordered. There are 4 types (unique SKUs) within this category, and I have a separate flow that tags profiles with the types they ordered (“Ordered ____” “Yes”).I’m trying to use show/hide conditions, and different variants of the email copy for people who have ordered ONLY 1 of these items compared to people who have ordered more than 1.I’ve used a trigger split with “Item count” equals 1, however I’ve seen a profile who ordered 4 of these items go down the “equals 1” path as well. I’ve seen some other posts where item count has been of some confusion, so I’d appreciate some insight into how this works with BigCommerce, and if it does in fact do what it sounds like it should do, or not...For reference:

I don’t want to use the split block converted from the old editor template as I would like to vertically center align the product text (which you can do in a table).The info available for this event is pretty minimal:Can anyone advise? Saved blocks from old editor now showing in new editor, BUT...

So I noticed today that my old saved blocks are now appearing in the new editor as universal content, on one hand, great - but on the other hand… it would have been nice to know this was going to happen or at least the names could have been somehow appended, tagged or sorted.I was being thorough with only saving specific things for (new) universal content, while the old editor blocks had a lot of junk from well, learning the platform, now they’re all in there together and with a lot of similar names it’s going to be a headache.I’m still pretty stoked now that the new editor seems to be working well, and the universal content is a big time-saver.
