My Shopify 'Fulfilled Order' metric is not connecting correctly

Fulfilled order metric is showing events for when an order has ‘fulfillment in progress’. Not when its actually been ‘Fulfilled’ and dispatched. This is crucial to me as i have set up a shipping confirmation email flow and my customers aren't receiving their shipping updates and tracking. I use a 3rd party drop shipping company that handles printing and shipping for me. Would i need to keep the shipping confirmation email ticked in shopify settings? I turned it off thinking it would double up emails and annoy my customers.Thank you to anyone that could help me :)

All SKU are not loaded inside metrics

Hi,Inside my metrics say “Ordered Product” the metrics(charts) is showing fine however not all SKU’s which are loaded into Klaviyo is populated and many of them missing.How to include all or select the SKU’s. There is bottom section called segments with SKU’s and checkboxes near by and there also not all SKU’s are present. But when i search by condition its showing, kindly advise.

Average Days Between Orders That Contain Certain Product Types

Owned data mavericks! 👋 Got a brain buster for ya.Data PointI am trying to determine the average time spent between orders that contain a certain product type. (Not average amount of days between all orders, as outlined below.) ContextFor context, I would like to use this data point as a trigger for a flow with the CTA of generating repeat purchases of a specific product type. ExampleFor example, let’s say a client’s main product is desks.→ Client also sells desk accessories s/a lamps, drawer organizers, etc.→ Most customer’s initial purchase contains a desk, but customers place orders of desk accessories that do not contain a desk in between purchasing another desk. (Say that 5 times fast!)Example Customer: Days Between Orders Order No. Order Contains 0 1 Desk 32 2 Accessories 67 3 Accessories 120 4 Accessories 365 5 Desk  → On an individual profile level, it’s easy to determine the days between orders that contain a desk, this example would be 365

Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) for WooCommerce, why can't I create a segment that works?

Hi everyone,I've tried creating a segment based on Historic Customer Lifetime Value, but it doesn't work. It should work, because I've check a few customer profiles that have orders more than 800 in value.Is there a problem with Klaviyo not being able to get Customer Lifetime Value?Notes:The platform I'm connecting to is Woocommerce. Placed Orders in the Pass 5 months is more than 500 There's no customer lifetime value section in profiles Started my Klaviyo account 2 days ago, is that the reason?Appreciate any guidance on this.Thank You

I recently acquired a list from a third party — can I send to this list in Klaviyo?F.A.Q.

Sending to a list of contacts who have never consented to receive emails from your brand is never recommended. When you acquire a list through a third-party, you are not acquiring each individual email address owner’s consent. Sending to a list that was acquired from a third-party will result in elevated bounces, unsubscribes, and spam complaint rates.  Lastly, sending to a list that is acquired from a third party violates Klaviyo’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Will adding a dedicated sending domain in Klaviyo impact my ability to use Google Workspace for email addresses at that domain?

I’ve created a subdomain just for ecommerce emails, and I want my ecommerce emails to come from the address hello@subdomain.website.com. If I set up subdomain.website.com as the dedicated Klaviyo sending domain, will I still be able to send and receive emails from the hello@subdomain.website.com address using Google Workspace? I have limited experience with DNS so I’m not sure! Thanks!

Can't add one of the CNAME records because A record already uses the host name

Hi everyone, I’m trying to verify a dedicated sending domain. I created the subdomain “email.website.com” In order to get the dedicated sending domain verified, I need to add a CNAME that uses “email” as the hostname. When I go to create this in the DNS manager, I get the error that an A record already exists using “email” as the host name, and that I may not mix CNAME records with other records for the same name.Has anyone else run into this problem before? If so, is there a way around it? I’m using cPanel and Hostgator Thanks!

Added to cart metric failed installed

My shopify theme is Ella. Why does the delivered number goes down within every mail?

Why does on my email I have 453 delivered emails and on the second one I just have 231 delivered emails? Why is it not sending to everyone?

How Klaviyo Treats iOS Opens

After two years of coming to grips with Klaviyo I noticed something new today! Always exciting. This post/question is driven by the desire to be in a position where I can elegantly sift out sending emails to those that do not open over an extended period.Today, I realised that emails being viewed (at least in iPhone) are not registered as open, in Klaviyo, until the images are downloaded.So, this means that if a recipient’s phone is set to not “Load Remote Images” in the settings, like mine is, Klaviyo does not show that the article has been opened, even though it could have been fully read without downloading.  Once the images are downloaded, Klaviyo registers the openThere may be something in the Klaviyo resources but I haven’t spotted it, if there is. I don’t know if this is part of the iOS changes or not but, either way it is an issue because if I am sending follow ups to those that Did Not Open the first, some users are unnecessarily getting two emails. That would drive me crazy!S

Active on site tracking and View product tracking

I’ve added the snippets to my site for active on site and viewed product tracking and I am getting the ‘green’ CTA saying data is received but then not getting any data coming through onto site despite people being on site and I’ve checked the tracking myself.Any ideas, will this be because I am using the free plan? Thanks

Re-ordering the web tracking parameters

Hi all,We have implemented the Klaviyo web tracking for viewed products and added to cart events on our Shopify site. The tracking is working but we want to reorder the parameters e.g. Compare at Price shown after the Price. is it possible to re-order the parameters that send from the site to Klaviyo? They are brand, product title, price etc. It seems that they are ordered alphabetically. "Viewed Product" Event not showing in activity feed

I have had the viewed product code setup since february and only have received 2 events since then. I know its not a cookie problem because I have since had over 200k website visits and I know its not a web tracking problem because when I test it, it says “data received”. What can be the problem?

Woocommerce 'Started Checkout' not tracking

I’ve seen others with the same problem that has required someone from the Klaviyo team to investigate. I’ve tried the suggestions listed on those tickets and they don’t work. I have already installed and linked the wordpress plugin. My sales data has all transferred, except for one issue: Started Checkout doesn’t track. I can’t get started with my emails until this issue (and another I have a ticket open for) are resolved.

Daily Break Down of Campaign Conversions

Hi,We are a team handling multiple advertising platforms. We want to breakdown the attributes per platform to make a more well informed decision when it comes to scaling or turning off ads.With that, I want to make a daily report including the performance of email campaigns in Klaviyo. I was wondering if it is possible to create one daily, because, while looking into it right now, I can only see the total conversion value of the campaign. Meaning, if I want to have a daily break down I need to check it daily and subtract yesterday’s conversion value to today’s conversion value.I hope this question makes sense and hoping you guys can help us. Thanks!

Creating a custom analytics event for 'pre-order' button

Hey guys! This is a (potentially) weird one. As many of you may know, you can (quite easily) set up a much more detailed abandoned cart flow by adding the custom ‘addtocart’ event into your product.liquid code on the Shopify back-end, like this article outlines. I’d like to do exactly that, but for my ‘pre-order’ button as well. About 90% of our stock is continually sold out and on pre-order for now, so this would be huge for us! When I reached out to Klaviyo support, they were great as always, but also offered me a solution that seemed far too convoluted to be the path of least resistance here. Is there any way to do basically the same thing I did with the addtocart snippet, ie: add some lines of code into the product.liquid, pull the details from inspecting the ‘pre-order’ button on my site, and then have that send as a custom ‘pre-order’ event? Or do I really have to do this whole new scary world of REST API’s and Postman and all this absolutely bewildering (to my simple mind) stuff

"Added to Cart" isn't showing in analytics

Will revenue attribution appear right away, or after the 5 day period?

Hi all, Should revenue attributed to email flows being appearing in klaviyo right away, or is it only counted once the 5 day conversion period has passed? The reason I’m asking is I now have a few flows live etc, and there have been quite a few orders placed after receiving abandoned cart emails, such as below (although the screenshot doesnt show “clicked email” there have been a few) - but no flows has been live for over 5 days yet. I thought since everything else is reporting so quickly, it would seem like revenue would too. Thanks!
