Text edit box margins disappeared

In the middle of writing emails yesterday, both the left and right margins of the text edit box disappeared. Happens in both Safari and Chrome. Anyone else had this? I’ve sent a help request. Impossible to edit the text as it is jammed against the edges and letters missing. I now think it might be a Shopify issue...

If/then logic working for desktop preview but not mobile

Hi everyone! One of the brands that I partner with includes assorted gifts and add-ons with every purchase. Prevent Klaviyo generating hundreds of dynamic discount codes in Shopify

Hi, I’m hoping someone can assist.  I have a Klaviyo Newsletter Signup form on my website that triggers a Klaviyo welcome flow. The form generates a dynamic coupon code for a customers first order which is then sent to them in their first email. My issue is that Klaviyo is setting up 600 coupon codes in my Shopify every day, despite my store only being new and having a couple of signups and coupons sent out daily. At this rate, I am going to use up my shopify discount limit very quickly. How can I prevent Klaviyo generating any further codes until the existing ones have been used, or not generating so many? I’m assuming it’s because they have a 30 day usage period so new codes need to be generated each day with a new expiry date one day later than those produced the day before, but I don’t need anywhere near 600 producing daily at this stage. Thanks!

Dynamic Tags For Product Review

I’m making a review invitation email in HTML . I want to custom code a  “write a review” button. What is the dynamic tag that generates the URL to the product’s klaviyo review submission page? I would prefer this to a simple anchor point address that directs users to the product page review widget. I have also included Name of Customer {{ event.extra.customer.first_name|default:'' }}Name of product  {{ event.Items.0|default:'' }}Product variant {{ event.extra.line_items.0.product.variant.options.Volume|default:'' }}Like to product {{ organization.url|trim_slash }}/products/{{ item.product.handle }}I hope these are correct at least!I understand that only one item will be included in the review invitation even if the order was a multi item purchase. I am using a shopify integration.

Wishlist King and Klaviyo integration

Hi there,  We have recently integrated Wishlist King to our Klaviyo account but I am unsure how to set up the email flow template. We would like it to show a dynamic set of products that have been added to a customer’s wishlist. The app embed is integrated with our new Shopify theme (which isn’t live yet), but I need instructions of how to set up the email template with the dynamic block of products so that we can make the flow live when the theme is also published in a few days.Is there a specific block I can add (as with 50%-off products, for example) or do I need to do it with a code (if so what would this be)?

Pasting code via the editor

Hi There, I’ve tried on a few occasions to paste code via the editor. Opening a new text box, tapping Source and “pasting” when I do tap “Source” all the editor tools go light grey and I see a message in the bottom of my browser saying “Javascript : void (“paste”)”Any help as to why this is occuring? I’m trying to integrate Four Sixty code into my Welcome Series. Thanks.

When do Coupon codes expire?

If I set a klaviyo dynamic code to expire on a specific date, does anyone know what time of day it will expire? For example, if I set it to expire on 10/24, will it stop working at 11:59pm on 10/24, or will it stop working at 11:59pm on 10/23.  Also, does anyone know if it operates in a specific time zone.  Thanks a bunch!

Change Product Block Text Size?

I am in the process of building out my Browse Abandonment Flow and am having an issue trying to reduce the product title text size in the browse abandonment product block. I currently have it set to 9px which seems to be the minimum size offered however the text appears really large when I preview the email. Any suggestions on how I can reduce the text size further?

What's the best image resolution for my email?

While Klaviyo allows you to add up to 5MB per image, 1MB should work fine and is best practice. You want to think about load time, especially for mobile recipients who are not on WiFi or those without a fast internet connection.PNG files will typically render the best, but we also accept JPEG, JPG, and GIF file types.For image resolution, we recommend 72dpi as that's the standard for web.For the image size, the height or width should be no more than 2000px. Anything larger could also potentially cause load time issues. If your image is more than 2000px in height, slice it into multiple sections so that it takes less time to load.

How can I include individual items from a web data feed?

I have created several custom feeds from posts in Wordpress to be included in Klaviyo emails. I can see that there is Python ish “slice” notation for including a range of items, but I can’t seem to figure out how I would add individual items from a feed. For example: post 1, 4, 19. Is that possible in Klaviyo?Thanks for the help, happy to provide more background if it would help! Josh

On mobile, emails show 3 products stacked vertically. Is there any way to make it side by side (horizontal) on mobile?

To ensure that products won't stack on mobile, you will need to disable mobile optimizations. To do that, navigate into the template you wish to edit and head to the Styles tab. In the Mobile section select No next to Enable Optimization.For more information, check out our help article on Optimizing Your Emails for Mobile.

Can I copy over a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another Klaviyo account?

Yes! There is a two-step prcoess to copy a campaign from one Klaviyo account to another. These steps include:Save the campaign as a template Copy the template from one account to anotherTo save the campaign as a template, follow the instructions discussed in this Community post.To copy the template over to another account, navigate to the Email Templates tab and click the Edit dropdown to the right of the template you want to copy over. Next, click Clone.A modal will appear prompting you to optionally rename the cloned template and select the destination account. This is the account where the new template will be copied to. Then click Clone Template.Changes made to the original email template will not be reflected in the copied template. For more details head to the instructions in the article Copy Flows and Templates Between Klaviyo Accounts. For information around managing multiple Klaviyo accounts, head to Multi-Account User Privileges.

Hiding Template Blocks Based on Dynamic Variables

I’m trying to set a show/hide condition for template block but whatever I’m trying to do is not working.I’m doing an Order Confirmation email which needs to include the discount line for those who took the discount while hide that line completely for those who didn’t have any discounts. I did an event lookup and after following one of the articles I decided to go with a > 1 argument (all discounts are more than 1 anyway). Unfortunately this is just hiding the box even when the discount has been applied.Any help please?

Issue with HTML Iframe

Klaviyo Coupons for Shopify

Hi,I’ve previously successfully created a Klaviyo Coupon which generates a batch of 100 unique codes in Shopify. I’ve now tried to create a second almost 20 hours ago but they are still loading in Shopify. Does anyone know how long they usually take to load in Shopify? I’m afraid to put the flow that contains the coupon code to live until the codes have generated in Shopify.Any help appreciated.Thanks,Laura

How to target an event variable in an email template

Hi All,We operate a custom product business with over 10^18 possible SKUs. We’re on Shopify but don’t use Shopify products due to SKU limitations. When building confirmation emails in Klaviyo we’re struggling to pull line item properties as they may be in a different order based on the type of product ordered. If we used Shopify products, we could pull the value for the field “_image” like this:{{item.product.properties|lookup:'_image'}} instead this _image value may be in position 14, 20, or 25 like this:{{ event.extra.line_items.0.properties.25.value }} Is there a way to query all event.extra.line_items and only return the value if it matches a specific name?

Updating Coupon Code Question

Hi,I am looking at extending my welcome series and as part of that process wanted to adjust the validity time of the coupon code (Shopify) that I am using. When I went to adjust the length in Klaviyo I got the following message.. I am confused by the part that reads ‘you will need to create new codes for the updated coupon’. I set this up quite some time ago so have forgotten a lot of what I had learned in this regard. I thought the coupons were automatically generated? Can someone please clarify? Thanks.
