Do transactional emails count as contacts for billing?
Hello, I have just signed up and was wondering if anyone who has been using Klaviyo could tell me whether or not the customers that are not signed up to your marketing emails, but do receive a transactional mail through Klaviyo count as a “contact” for Klaviyos billing purposes? We want to send all transactional emails through Klaviyo instead of Shopify, but obviously that would add a lot to the cost if this is the case (with a lot less value) when you consider that only 5/10% of them actually sign up to marketing emails. I get the above and have no idea how to make it not fail after searching on google, please give advice, thanks.Background if it matters: I didn’t pay for my shopify store once my 14day free trial was over and waited 20+ days before reactivating my store, maybe this triggered it, nonetheless need a solution.
Shopify Footer Newsletter Sign up - not in Klaviyo
I have looked for this topic in the community and seen the replies about turning OFF the Shopify Double Opt in. Mine is OFF but still my tests are not ending up in my Klaviyo newsletter list. (I also have the Klaviyo Double opt in OFF) How do I fix this please?
Can you have unsubscribe page per list?
I’ve got a different types of email that gets sent out each week that are attached to a different mailing lists. Is there a way to have multiple unsubscribe list?For e.gCustomer 1 is in the list A and list B, customer 1 only wants to unsubscribe list A emails but keep list B emails.Thanks in advance!
FLOWS WON'T WORK
Ok so I’m at the end of my rope here. I’ve contacted Klaviyo several times by email and they never even send a confirmation email in return, let alone a response.I created a handful of flows and they don't work! They are live, Klaviyo is integrated with my Shopify, there is seemingly no reason for this. Please help me.I placed a test order from my website and that worked fine. The store is working. But instead of a Klaviyo confirmation email I received the stock Shopify one.
How do I remove or delete a duplicate Klaviyo account?
Hi Klaviyo Family,I am new member of this family, Hope all of you are doing good.I need your help regarding my account, accidently ( I Think) i have opened 2 klaviyo accounts for one shopify store, one is with store name and other one is with company name, I don’t know if it is normal or i have done mistake, I removed one integration but account still appears with the other account on my klaviyo screen. i uninstalled klaviyo from the shopify to reinstall it but when re installed ,again both account appeared, i don’t know how to fix it, it causes confusion, Thanks in advanceKind Regards

What's the best way to implement a highly segmented Post Purchase/Winback flow strategy?
I would like to set up a Post Purchase flow for 12 different groups of customers. I have 4 general groups of shoppers that each need to receive 5 different emails within a Post purchase flow. Each one of the 4 groups must also have 3 different time delays for the emails depending on location (USA, Canada & International) due to varied delivery times. This will result in 12 Post Purchase flows. I would also like to deploy the same strategy for our Winback flows. This seems like a very large amount of flows! Yet segmenting to this extend within a lesser amount of flows (considering we would additionally like to trigger split based one whether on not these customers have purchased before) seems just as complicated.All the examples out there are too simplified to help. If anyone can provide some feedback or insights on the best strategy it would be greatly appreciated!

How to add a link to a tracking button that takes you to usps page tracking?
Hello Klaviyo community,I have a store that works with Big commerce + Shipstation + Klaviyo.I am creating transactional emails:Ordered.Shipped.Delivered. 1)Could you confirm that it isn’t possible to have a delivered transactional email with shipstation?Am I required to buy an other service for that option (which start to pill up)? Sending a “delivered” email 2-3 days after a “shipped” email will only create resentment if it’s not verified i think. 2)Inside my “shipped” email, I prefer not to display the tracking number, but add a button link to usps tracking page. Is that possible?I couldn’t find the doc about this. I have been using the tracking number code from the preview but that doesn’t work. Any suggestions will help. Thx a million

How to create a signup form compliant with GDPR?
Hi, i’m trying to create a GDPR compliant form, but I’m unable to put the hyperlink to my privacy policies next to the checkbox where people need to check to express consent. Why was my account disabled?
My Klaviyo account has been disabled for verification after my first campaign submission attempt, and that has been going on for a week!I read and understood that it is a matter of security because I am a new user, and in the information it was said that in one business day I would have a feedback on this.So far nothing has happened. On the fourth I opened a call through the help desk, and I also had no feedback. I would like to know if it is delayed anyway, if this delay has already occurred with someone else. Sorry if there is a typo, I'm from Brazil, my English is not the best:)
Why sender name is displayed in brackets?
I noticed that sender name is wrapped in brackets when email arrives to inbox.Why this is happening? This is how the sender name is defined on the account settings page: and this is how it is rendered in Gmail: and it gets even worse when email agent tries to escape brackets.
Default Klaviyo Properties not showing up
I’m working on a brand new Woocommerce site that is NOT live yet..the Klaviyo integration seems to be working fine (I see active on site and checkout started data), however, I don’t see any of the default Klaviyo property data when I’m trying to create flows. Is it because the site is not live and has no orders?Also, my signup form is not being detected on the site - is this also because the site’s not live?
Confused on what type of emails violate CAN-SPAM Act...
I want to make sure my emails are not violating the spam laws in the US.I get that someone who has opted out of receiving emails (therefore suppressed) cannot receive any marketing emails.What if someone purchases a product, has never subscribed to a list, and has never opted out of emails.Can I send them a an email flow 180 days after their initial purchase and try to get them to buy again without violating spam laws?This segment is setup by default in Klaviyo and is called “Win-back Opportunities”. It won’t send to suppressed profiles but it is not exclusive to subscribers.
How can I get a flow to only trigger on the last event in the past 2 hours?
Hi, We've got a bit of a complicated situation for an email flow.We want to send an email after the user has stopped triggering a certain event for 2 hours. so users browse our site and trigger events multiple times.but then we only want the last one within 2 hours gets triggered.in the klaviyo flows maker there's an option to not include if they have already been in the flow in the past x hours. but we want to check for that at the end of the flow.The reason for this is that we have wishlists enabled for customers and there can be max 6 entries in the wishlist but if they're adding to wishlist and receive just the first item they've wishlisted in the email it's no good.we want them to get an email about the last 6 they've added which is the last event fired as it contains a list of the items.I spoke to someone on the live chat but it wasn't very helpful. adding adobe fonts to email template
I was able to import my adobe fonts to my signup form no problem, but my fonts are not showing up following the instructions to add the HTML in the text block source found here: How to Add Custom Fonts in Email Templates – Klaviyo - Help Center I did this, saved, but none of my fonts are importing. Can anyone tell me why this isn’t working?
Why Klaviyo Unsubscribed users still "Accept Marketing" and cannot re-subscribe ?
I have shopify with klaviyo integration.My template has newsletter subscription forms and I also use klaviyo popup. People can subscribe and they are added to a klaviyo list. No problem so far.The issue is, if someone unsubscribe, this creates a bunch of weird issues/conflicts:Inside klaviyo their profile will be marked as suppressed, however they still have the “accept marketing” status set to “true” … Why? … it feels extremely awkward to have a “accept marketing” set to true while also being unsubscribed/suppressed… This means, in shopify, this user still looks like a current subscriber. If a user unsubscribed and wants to subscribe again using a form from the shopify template, then the user will not be subscribed again, and there are no message being displayed telling the user the subscription failed… This is extremely bad. On the other hand, if the user uses the klaviyo popup to subscribe again then the subscription will work the “suppressed” status will be removed, thats good,

Hello !Created a subscription form for new subscribers on my website.I would like to know if it is possible to prevent the user from receiving the subscription confirmation email to which he has just subscribed. Saving you a second confirmation from the user and making the flow go live right away.The Signup Forms works fine, it takes the user to the selected list, but if I can save that email that asks the user again if they want to subscribe to my newsletter again. We all know how this saving clicking user works.
