I have installed Klaviyo as an app in my shopify store. Due to various privacy legislations including GDPR I have integrated a cookie management banner. This software blocks all advertising tracking scripts such as Facebook & Google. By going through Inspect in Chrome, I can see that the advertising scripts are blocked. Klaviyo, however is running.These tools rely on the Shopify Customer Privacy API and it seems as if Klaviyo does not utilise this. In many countries including Germany, France, Italy and the UK, scripts may not run until consent is given. Has anyone stumbled upon this issue and is there a way to solve it without using Google-Tag manager (which then disables several Klaviyo tracking features).
Following the instruction to install the extension for magento 2.4.1 I came across an error when activating the integration. Once click integrate Magento 2 on the popup window, I was told the error message below. I double checked the API details are correct, and also the firewall Sucuri is not blocking Klaviyo. Hi there,We set up a flow where we ask our customers how they like the clothes they bought. Unfortunately, we are not satisfied with the response rate, so we want to issue a voucher for a response. I am looking for a survey tool where a custom coupon code is automatically sent at the end (custom so the code can't be abused). So far we have used google forms, but here I have not found a way that submitting the answer leads to an automated sending of the coupon. Manually sending each customer the coupon is not an option.Or do you have any other ideas on how I can create the survey and send the people who answer the survey their voucher?I am looking forward to your ideas.Thanks in advanceErik
Hi Everyone, By adding my email (as a test) onto my Shopify Theme Pop-up, my information is collected in the Shopify Customer tab. I am using Shopify’s Prestige Theme I have integrated Klaivyo to my Shopify account and set up a number of Flows to all new subscribers. However my email is not collected in Klaviyo under Profits or Lists/Segements and I do not get triggered with the Welcome email. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Hi, We are exploring Wunderkind to increase our abandonment revenue. Has anyone here used it (or something similar) and would you recommend it? They also offer enhanced data capture opportunities although not sure whether we would use this feature as much as we get pretty good rates with our Klaviyo pop ups.Thank you
Anyone have any insight as to whether it’s best to send a coupon code as a link that will automatically apply the coupon code VS sending it as plain text that is easily copy/pasted? Looking for some best practice tips on how to send dynamic coupons in welcome/abandoned cart flow. Thanks!
I am new to Klaviyo and trying to be super careful. I need to import a list of people who have been subscribers for a long time (outside of Klaviyo).When I import them to my newsletter list will it trigger any kind of automated email? (These people have been subscribed for so long that they will be confused if they get a verification email or a welcome email). Hello,I want to setup a flow that is triggered when Shopify records a delivery date for an order. There doesn’t seem to be a pre-made trigger for this event from Shopify? Only thing I found so far was a trigger from AfterShip, which I don’t to have to use.A Klaviyo support specialist told me I would have to use the API to send the event over from Shopify, but I was hoping there was an easier way that I’ve overlooked.Thanks!Roy
Hello, We wanted to migrate from Mailchimp to Klaviyo using https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005254948We have a single MC account with a single Audience. However, we will have 3 separate Shopify stores (instead of multi-currency) so we will need three Klaviyo accounts. What would be the best practice when using this integration?I can think of dividing the Mailchimp Audience into three Audiences (as best as possible since some subscribers non-purchasers may not fall in the right bucket). Then run sequentially the Mailchimp integration across the three Klaviyo accounts, using for each one a specific Audience. Alternatively, we could import all the data into each Klaviyo account, then delete the users but I guess that’s way more dangerous :) Many thanks for your thoughts!Sergio

I am trying to create a 1 question survey for visitors coming to our site. We currently have a subscription popup that activates 7-8 seconds when someone is on the site. We are getting some people to subscribe and we are able to ask them the survey question “Are you currently bald”.However, we want to have a popup that fires as soon as someone comes to the site that just asks the question. We are not looking to collect email addresses. We just want to know the percentage of individuals coming to the site that are bald. This will help with advertising later on. I was able to successfully create the popup WITHOUT an email address field, but the data doesn’t seem to be sent to Klaviyo without having the required email. Is there a way to do a custom report to see this information? We are not wanting to use a third party integration due to security processes and approved apps. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
Hi.I’m in the middle of a post-purchase flow. One of the email messages in the flow is supposed to contain an image that links to an instructional video (a YouTube video that’s embedded on the company’s website). The image in the email is based on which product(s) a customer purchases. The company’s shop uses Shopify, but the images I want to display aren’t hosted there. Is it possible to use an if/else statement to display the image, its alt tag and link? What I’m thinking is that a certain image would be displayed based on the product ID (if productID = Product X’s ID, then display Product X’s image and have it link to Product X’s instructional video). If the customer ordered more than one product, I’d like to have images show for all the products that they purchased (note: there are only four products in total, so four would be the maximum number of products shown at once).Thanks in advance!
Hey guys I’m trying to add the the legacy form and I added some code and changes to the present wordpress form but it seems like api is working it does reads the class with list id and sends detials to klaviyo but then i cannot add customers to wordpress, any idea how can i do it?
