klaviyo does not create user profiles for purchases on shopify

@matteo7581 When you first set up your integration, was everything syncing correctly? Have you changed any settings since implementing the integration?

Is there a way to view the system SMS that were sent by Klaviyo for the double opt-in list?

To clarify @MVysh, you want to know who received the opt-in confirmation SMS? This isn’t information unfortunately isn’t available. It is sent automatically as soon as someone fills out your subscribe form. Though, I’m curious, why do you need to know?

Can a profile be automatically removed from the 'SMS subscribers' list after sending a standard keyword?

@MVysh You’re correct, any of the standard keywords will unsubscribe the profile from the SMS list. Their status will change to “Unsubscribed” and will be excluded from campaigns.

Hi @claikind! Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to segment by whether someone has or hasn’t used a coupon. But, there is a workaround I shared in this thread on a similar question: Hope that helps! :)

Can you walk us through in more detail:More about the business model and how you’re utilizing Klaviyo? What kinds of lists and segments are currently set up? What sources you’re using for signups? Any custom properties and how they’re used? What IS NOT working about the current setup? What are you hoping to achieve with a cleanup? @DianaSantos It is possible for bots to enter blank spaces as data. This is a known issue the team is working on in my answer above! Unfortunately though, using single opt-in makes it harder to manage bot activity. At least with double opt-in you can be sure the only profiles subscribed to your list are real people. If you want to maintain single opt-in, you can create a segment with conditions you notice for patterns of these bot profiles and periodically suppress them. Hey @AmyScarr! Apologies for the late response here. Unfortunately this is not something Klaviyo can track because it is a link generated by Gmail. I’m surprised to hear Campaign Monitor could do it! Are you sure that’s what it was tracking? I wasn’t able to find anything related to that in their help documentation.

@DianaSantos They aren’t being bypassed. Bots can fill out those fields automatically. Do you have double opt-in enabled in your list?

Hey @Fannyperret! Sorry for the delay here, I was checking on this internally for you. What I heard is that because your number is used for voice, it cannot also be used for SMS or else you’ll lose the voice service. You’ll need to set up a separate number strictly for SMS.

Hey @Fannyperret! Your DNS records can take up to 48 hours to process, though it is normally shorter. Nothing for you to do now except wait for it to be active! If it’s still pending after 48 hours, let us know and we’ll troubleshoot from there! :)

@Randyt816 Unfortunately for existing flows, you’ll need to manually update your From address in each email. Once you update your default settings, any net-new campaigns and flows will be updated accordingly.

How many emails can I send at once?

Hiya @Streampunk! Let’s back up for a second so I can understand a bit more of where you’re coming from. Are you asking about limitations from a technical perspective, literally how many quickly and in what quantity can the software process emails? That’s pretty close to instantaneous and in enormous quantity. Klaviyo is processing millions of emails at any given time. Or are you asking from a strategic perspective of how many should you be sending in any given day to your customers? This is going to depend largely on your business and what your goals are. Or are you asking from a billing perspective what the limitations of your plan are? I’d ned to know what plan you’re on to advise you further.

@blissy I gotcha, yes! We have personalization in the standard campaign content but in quick responses is a different story. I’ve logged your feature request with the Product team. :)

@realnoni There are lots of reasons bad actors create bots, but they’re typically deployed looking for security vulnerabilities or for data scraping. You’ll really never know for sure. Were do I turn on double opt-in for our newsletter sign up form? Do I do this in Klaviyo? Or in Shopify?You should do this in Klaviyo since this is where the list lives. Click into the list you want to edit. Select Settings. Select Consent. Select Double opt-in. As far as bulk surpressing or deleting, I had a read through the link you shared and seems like I’ll need to upload a csv list to do this? Is there any easy way to export a list of these bogus profiles? Right now I just keep checking our “new subscriber” segment daily and deleting the bogus sign ups. All the email addresses always have a + sign so can I create a segment that pulls any email with a “+” and then easily get a list that way? Yes, use any patterns you notice to filter them out. Unfortunately Klaviyo won’t automatically know a

Hey there @The ZOOM guy @realnoni @Nico01 I know it’s super frustrating to be attacked by bots. Unfortunately, it’s an industry-wide problem that doesn’t just affect Klaviyo. Our Product team is definitely aware and is actively working on solutions to combat bot activity. In the meantime, our Support team can take a closer look at each of your accounts and tease out exactly where the profiles are coming from if you’re really curious! Regardless of what the case may be, it’s important to remember that with double opt-in enabled on your forms these bot profiles will never become confirmed subscribers and therefore do not count towards your active profile count and will not be sent campaigns. You can absolutely bulk suppress or delete them if they’re really bugging you. Alternatively, you can also try beefing up the security of your website to block bot traffic at the source. A popular tool the community references a lot is SpamAssasin, but there are lots of options out there.Hope that h
