Adding Past Profiles - after adding an email to an existing flow

@LM0721 hey, thanks for your question!Backpopulating flows (as it used to be called) is very tricky, so you’ve done well in reaching out to the community!Your flow is metric-triggered, so good news - you are able to add past profiles to it!A caveat regarding adding past profiles to metric-triggered flows is that you can only add past profiles relative to when someone performed the action that triggered the flow. What this means is that it doesn’t matter when you’ve clicked the button, what matters is when they actually performed the metric. If that happened 80 days ago, for example, they would receive email 1 immediately (as the delay time has passed), and then they would need to wait another 100 days to receive the second email (that you’re trying to implement now, as that one has a 180-day delay). Here’s an article explaining this in slightly more detail.Happy to chat further!

Dynamic coupons for Shopify POS

Hey @Adiorzel12 , thanks for your question and welcome to the community!To my knowledge, there is no way to pre-define this in Klaviyo as there currently isn’t an option to define which part of your Shopify ecosystem the codes can be applied to from within the app - your Klaviyo integration has a pretty deep access to Shopify’s back end, but it’s not unlimited. You can however select which products or collections you want the code(s) to be applied to, which can help limit their usage.You’re right in saying this can be changed later in Shopify directly.It’s a solid feature request, though, so we can make sure to get that on the list.Hope this helped, happy to chat further!

Placed order vs. Ordered Product Events: What's the difference?

@ELopski hey, thanks for your question!So the Ordered Product metric will be pulling in information for each product separately, meaning you’re right in filtering it by SKU. The SKU might have however been overwritten in Shopify instead of the booklet added as a variant, which is why it might still be registering as “BLOCK-LE2” but it’s actually a completely different product in there now.Maybe instead you can try using the Placed Order metric as the trigger, and then filter “Items”, select “Text” as your type, “equals” or “contains”, and add the item name for the product that was triggering the flow previously. You can also exclude any variants by using the “Name” property in case that’s available to you, or try other configurations.These are just some preliminary thoughts, you might have already tried these solutions, so I apologize if you did.Happy to chat further!

@Aignyte hey, thanks for your question!If you need to search for certain profile properties, you can always create a segment and group your contacts that way to see them all at a glance.However, I understand your question was more to do with a quick view, and yes, you are right, that’s very much a feature request as it’s not possible to do at the moment.There are some stuff you can also use the CDP to check out, it gives you a whole bunch of new datasets to play with.Looking forward to seeing your feature request become reality!

Signup form: Customer enters twice

@csbrnk hey there, thanks for your question and welcome to the community!I’ve taken a screenshot of a setting I’d like to you double-check on your popup:Is the “Visitors” section in your targeting options set up to not show to existing Klaviyo profiles?This might be a silly question but that’s the first thing that comes to mind. This would then not show up to any profiles unless they use “incognito” mode or they are using a different browser (doesn’t have to be on a different device, but it most likely is).Right now, there’s no option to send a warning that an email address exists (and this is a very popular feature request which should be enabled any day now), but rest assured, no matter how many times a person submits their email, they will still receive just one flow email. You can also use third party apps and tools to create popups outside of Klaviyo, which may have this feature enabled.They should also be eligible to receive all of your other active automation, provided they fulf

How to exclude collection from coupon codes?

@Vesna EGarden hey, thanks for your question!Sadly, I’m not aware that there’s an option to exclude products or collections from discounts both in Shopify, and in Klaviyo, without using scripts or third party apps (maybe not even that way).I’m not a Shopify expert so perhaps this was recently updated (to my knowledge it wasn’t), but it for sure is not possible in Klaviyo.The only way to only apply certain discounts to certain products is to group the products in a collection, and then create a discount that applies to that collection only - this will ensure only the products in that collection are applicable for a discount.Hope this helps, happy to chat further!

@george12345245135124 perfect, thank you.From what I can see, everything indeed checks out and you’ve been able to send your email, so the issue doesn’t seem to be with Klaviyo.I’d say perhaps wait for the data to sync as sometimes there are issues, but if you’ve confirmed your team members haven’t received the email, then the issue must be with Outlook.Since the emails were delivered, it does seem the most realistic option that they’ve been either quarantined or sent to spam - have your team checked their spam folders? To clarify, had the email not been delivered 100%, and if there were hard bounces etc, then this would suggest other issues, but because it shows as 100% delivered it must mean there’s something blocking the people from actually seeing the email, which is typically spam or quarantine.Have you tried sending another email since? Maybe try a text-based email with a normal subject line and see if the issue happens again.Happy to chat further!

@Musashi hey, thanks for your question and welcome to the community!The first thing I’d check is if there’s padding on that particular block, either in the general version, or just in the mobile version. Check my screenshot - the content padding should be set to 0, and you can play around with your width and margin until you get what you need visually. Seems like that might be what’s causing the problem.If that’s not the case, then I’m happy to troubleshoot further together!

Embed signup form multiple languages

@mrosique hey there, thanks for your question!The easiest fix for this would be to only display certain embeds on certain URLs. The precondition for this to work is for all off your different language storefronts to redirect to different URLs.e.g. Your main language is www.store.com, your English is www.store.com/english (or something like that, maybe based on location etc).Then you can select the targeting option for your embed to “Only show on certain URLs” and select a unique parameter in each of your URLs to target with the embed. Finally, for this option to work, you need to have a different embed for each language. A good rule of thumb would also be to select “don’t show on certain URLs” and to put all the other language URLs in just in case.Hope this helped, happy to chat further!

New sender requirements — help!

@Kirsty Robson hey, thanks for your question and welcome to the community!I’m surprised by such an abrasive and misleading response from your IT support company to something that’s actually pretty reasonable.Basically, the branded (or dedicated, which is what it was called before) sending domain means you need to have a subdomain on your website dedicated to sending emails from. Typically it’s something like “email.domain.com” - Klaviyo actually make this really simple for you in THIS GUIDE, you literally just have to follow the instructions and set this up. This will not impact your sending in any way and you can just continue what you were doing before this was set up.Please note, this is not optional and there really shouldn’t be any discussion about whether you will do it or not. If you don’t do it, Gmail and Yahoo will block emails coming from your account, which will eventually get your IP blacklisted, and thus you will not be able to do any email marketing until your entire webs

@rory hey, sadly I’m not a developer myself (although I dabble), so I can’t really confirm this with 100% certainty although I’m pretty confident that’s the case based on a few Klaviyo accounts I’ve seen so far. Hey @SurfingLyon , thank for your question and welcome to the community!A short answer to your question is yes, you will be able to have the same integration as with Shopify (or close enough), but unfortunately it requires a bit of development work to get there in terms of integrating it with Wordpress-based shopping carts.To complete this integration, please follow the steps outlined in this guide.There are then various plugins for Wordpress which you can install as apps and then integrate with Klaviyo to help manage the flow of data (such as Mailoptin, Taggshop, Newsletter Glue and others).Hope this helps, happy to chat further!

Price Drop report - not all reduced products there

Hey @Justyna , thanks for your question!Sadly, the Price Drop trigger works only on a product level, which requires all variants of the product to be dropped before it triggers the event.So, you were on the right track in pinpointing your issue.The only known workaround is to modify your product catalog so each of the variants are its own separate product, then only discount or drop the ones that you want, which will then trigger the flow as intended.Hope this helped, happy to chat further!

Google Ads integration - I don't understand what the "Audience" is for.

@MikeR00 hey, thanks for your question and welcome to the community!The “Audience” you have to select, or create, is actually a Google Audience, which is a Google Ads equivalent of a Klaviyo segment. Essentially, a group of people which fulfill the same preset conditions (age, location, page browsed...).Selecting (or creating) an audience allows information to pass from your retargeting segment on Klaviyo (the one on the left side) to pass onto the lookalike audience in Google (the one that confused you).You can then use that audience in Google Ads to retarget from Klaviyo campaigns or flows. (e.g. a 10% off email goes out to your connected segment in Klaviyo, then you can find anyone that didn’t interact with this email in your connected Google Audience, and show them an ad to try and convert them that way).For further reading please refer to this Klaviyo Help article about integrating Klaviyo and Google Ads. Happy to chat further!

Klaviyo logging me out several times a day...

@bluesnapper hey, this might be a silly question, but have you tried using it with a different browser? Chrome can get pesky sometimes if you’re not fully updated, if you have an extension that might be running interference (adblockers or script blockers like Ghostery etc.), or if there’s a malware infestation you might not be aware of.Try running Klaviyo on Opera or Microsoft Edge (both built using Chromium), or even try Mozilla (which has a different architecture but works fairly well from my experience).If you’ve used a different browser without a hitch, then doing a hard reset of your Google Chrome (fully deleting everything from it, uninstalling, then installing it again) should do the trick, or running a system wide malware check with a few different systems (Bitdefender, Malwarebytes).I once had a malware infestation that literally mimicked Google Chrome in every single way, except I could never set up a different default search engine than what the malware wanted me to have. Sudden Increase in Email Campaign Bounce Rates?

@HannahfromMDK hey, have you perhaps tried sending text only emails to this audience, and perhaps asking them to reply to your emails?I understand the emails are bouncing however text-only emails might pull through, especially if they are using non-spammy verbiage and if they are sent as if they were a normal business email.This might help push through to your Comcast audience and reset the spam filter algorhythm in your favour. Further to this, here’s an EXHAUSTIVE list of conditions that need to be met in order to successfully deliver to Comcast: 1. Conform to the standardsAll email must comply with all relevant RFCs.2. Ensure your rDNS is correctComcast performs an rDNS check on the IP of the sending server. @Emre hey, thanks for your question and welcome to the community!Have you followed list health best practices before sending your email from Klaviyo?Normally Klaviyo will flag a new account when they are trying to send emails to an uploaded list for the first time, following which the Verification and Compliance Team will manually review the flag and make a decision on the account.You can then sift through THIS ARTICLE to help troubleshoot a particular condition that wasn’t met, that would’ve caused your account to be disabled.Sending an email to Klaviyo support should help you uncover exactly what was the exact reason for this happening. Good luck, and I hope this helped!
