Klaviyo Partners | How to get credit for clients?

@NextLevel, yes have them use that “Request An Account” link and they can then enter in their email and password. They should receive an automated email to confirm/verify and they should be all set!

Hi @NextLevel Regarding #1. a) Where do I find our referral link? When I use the button in Klaviyo Partner Dashboard it leads me to a separate Landing Page of Klaviyo (see attachment).The referral link specific to your partner account is the URL of the separate landing page of Klaviyo that you referred to. Regarding #2. a) Does the customer have to sign up for Klaviyo by himself, or is it possible that we create an account for the customer and invite him afterwards (preferred way)?This is at your discretion. If the customer wants to create the account themselves, provide them with the URL link referred to above and have them click on “Get Started” to start setting up their account.If you would prefer to create the account for them and transfer ownership after the account has been created/set up, you can create the account just as a customer would from that URL page we mentioned.b) Does the customer have to use the exact same email address that we state in Klaviyo’s lead registrati

Access Client Account via the Partner Portal

@harry_vinnaz, I apologize but I don’t think I’m understanding correctly.What I’ll say for the moment is if you want to access a client’s Klaviyo account, you’ll want to have the account owner or an admin user in the account add you as a user so you can access that client’s Klaviyo account. How to Add Users and Manage Permissions. That may not be the response you were looking for so feel free to follow up here.

Access Client Account via the Partner Portal

Hi @DMPartners, we’re glad you went ahead and submitted your managed client in your Partner Portal which was confirmed by the account owner! If you’re looking to access the account, you’ll need to log in to their Klaviyo account as your normally would. The partner portal and Klaviyo app are agnostic of each other as the portal is meant to manage your lead submissions, add managed customers, and access the additional enablement materials and collateral while the Klaviyo app is where you actually work with your clients’ Klaviyo accounts. Hope this makes helps shed some light on why you were unable to access the account from the portal.

Edit "Abandoned checkout" Email template on Klaviyo

Hi @Mofid.ar,Looks like @retention beat me to it but yes, adding on, the reason you’re unable to update the “abandoned checkout” template is because this is not a template available for style and export to Shopify.The templates that are typically able to be edited and exported to Shopify are notification email templates which the abandoned checkout template does not fall under.Customers using Shopify will either choose to use the abandoned checkout email that is sent out of Shopify or will turn that email off in Shopify and use a Klaviyo abandoned cart flow (specifically using the abandoned cart flow that is titled “Abandoned Cart Reminder” with the Shopify logo which can be found in the flow section. Why is my Facebook Lead Ad setting in Integrations not showing up in the drop down menu?

Hi @Phushboutique,The image below was taken from the following article: How to Integrate with Facebook Advertising. I would recommend reading through that article if you have not done so already. You’ll want to select a Facebook Lead Ad from the first dropdown menu, then select a Klaviyo List from the second dropdown. You should be able to select the correct lead add to the correct Klaviyo list using the drop downs. If you’re finding that’s not possible, would you mind providing a screenshot of similar to the image above?

So I hope I’m not confusing you but the order confirmation email can be triggered by the placed order event. Here is a line from our help center article on our Guide to Using Flows to Send Transactional Emails“When building out these emails, if the flow is triggered by an event that's synced through the integration, like Placed Order, then you can use a post-purchase flow as a starting point in terms of the information that you will pull into the template (e.g., a link to the item, an image of the item, the name of the item).”So in the case of woocommerce, if you were looking to trigger the flow off of the placed order event, the payment method should come in with the placed order event.

How to create a signup form compliant with GDPR?

Hi @Eitan Felner ,So its a certainty that the company’s pop up you shared in the image is not a Klaviyo pop up since what was provided in that image is not currently possible to set up with the current functionality of our signup form builder. Because of this, I don’t have an additional work around at the moment but will add this to a product enhancement request with the hopes that this is something available in the future as I completely understand it’s not the way you had envisioned or hoped. Appreciate you following up and hopefully this will be something that will be a possibility in the future.For the time being, you would either have to have the hyperlink in a text block or see if maybe they are using a Shopify pop up. My emails don't send.

@Bribri16222 The list that you set as destination List maybe has a double opt in option requirement. This mean when people subscribe to your list they will receive confirmation email on their email which they need to click to confirm that they accept to be subscribed.. So this is not 100% but this is what I think it happened. 10 people probably subscribed to the form but only 1 person confirmed their subscription by clicking their confirmation email. If you don’t see double opt in option in List setting, you should as klaviyo support to enable this option for you so you can see it and be able to turn off. How to manually add a profile?

You could create a separate list and just add it there using Quick Add or Manage → Import contacts. Make sure no flows are active that triggers on signed up to list. Here is our article on How to Add Subscribers to an Existing List

How to trigger a flow when customer submits contact form on Shopify?

Hi @Ronaldgto and @Bobi N.,Thanks for posting and following up in community. Just as an FYI, at the moment, our sign up forms do not currently support ReCaptcha. If you wanted to utilize ReCaptcha, this would require utilizing a third party form. This has been added as a request to a product enhancement which could potentially be introduced in the future.

What is the name of the triggers or the flow that invites people to subscribe to the newsletter?

Hi @NicolasFromAllBeauty, The first step would be to select a post purchase flow from our flow library or to create one from scratch either utilizing the placed order or fulfilled order as the trigger. You may be safer using the fulfilled order metric since it is possible that even though the customer placed an order, they did not ultimately follow through with the purchase.From there, once the flow has been placed in your flows section, you can use a subscribe page that is linked to your main mailing list. Using a subscribe page or signup form, creates a way for people to enter whatever list you choose. Hi @mantrasan,So I’m unable to replicate the behavior and can’t say that I’ve seen this specific case before. Are you still seeing the quotation marks present? If you are, could you let us know because I’m unable to replicate so this may already be resolved. Building out templates on iPad

Hi @jlytle our recommendation is to utilize a desktop when using our template editor as that will allow you the full functionality and not the limited functionality that you’re currently dealing with. I’ve gone ahead and added in a request for our product team to take a look at as this is likely an area that other users and customers have requested in the past and will hopefully make it into our product roadmap or a release in the future.

Delete a profile via API

Contacts moved out of a flow

Hi @damienlhk,If the flow was updated after the flow had been set live, then this is considered expected behavior from the flow. If the flow was set live and profiles received the 1st email and then a change was made at a later time period or date where you decreased the delay between email 1 and email 2 to 1 day, some email addresses would have been ineligible to receive the 2nd email since that one day delay might have already passed which means they would have exited the flow but would not have exited if it remained at a 3 day time delay.Not sure if you’ve seen this article from our Help Center yet (How Back-Populating Works in Klaviyo), but you could backpopulate your flow although with the time delay decrease, I’m not positive on how many people can be re-inserted into the flow. There is a section that refers to List-and Segment-Triggered Flows which is what would apply in this case since your Welcome flow is likely a list triggered flow. Can Klaviyo send my customers transactional emails?

Hi @salamiadil, You can certainly send emails after a placed order event. You should have two flows in our Flow Library which you can find in your account specific to BigCommerce that you should be able to find which are titled Shipping Confirmation and Order Confirmation. Flow Library This article on our Guide to Using Flows to Send Transactional Emails is a good read to understand what Klaviyo classifies as a transactional message and the steps you’ll need to take if you’d like an email to be marked as transactional since these emails will be sent to those customers who may have unsubscribed from marketing emails. Does Klaviyo API support CORs requests?

Hi @ca136 Our server-side APIs are set up to deny incoming connections from the front-end in order to prevent people from exposing their sensitive private API keys which are required for these endpoints. When sending subscriptions to Klaviyo, here are our recommended approaches:If you want to use an API endpoint, use the server-side subscribe endpoint from a server-side location If you do not have access to a server-side location for your platform (eg. you’re on a hosted platform), you can set up a proxy which routes a request to subscribe from your front-end to this proxy in order to send the server-side request Alternatively, an easy way to set up subscribes from the front-end would be to use our built-in forms or one of our partner integrations who offer subscription formsHope that information helps but if you need additional information, please do follow up.

Inserting Expiry date into email

Hi @Prosper, So what you can do is insert a tag underneath the coupon in your template. In your case, since the coupon is meant to expire one year from when they receive the email you could use the following tag in your template beneath the coupon:{% today '%Y-%m-%d' as today %} {{ today|days_later:365 }} So for example, {% today '%Y-%m-%d' as today %} would return the format 2021-02-12 Note the date needs to be in the format '%Y-%m-%d' OR '%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S' OR '%m-%d-%Y'

How to send a flow to site members who cancel their subscription?

Hey @Tom Farren, So the most important thing to understand would be how the information is passed to Klaviyo when a member of the website cancels their paid monthly subscription. If this is tracked as an event metric, we can use that event metric to trigger the flow. How to segment new buyer but not based on number of orders?

Hi @bard95, So I’m not sure I’m fully comprehending the original scenarios that are presented but based off of how I’m processing the information you provided, my recommendation would be to add date criteria to your segment.For example, for a net new buyer who has absolutely no placed order events prior to making their first purchase, I think you could create a segment with the definition of has placed order equals 1 over all time. The part where I may be confused of is the second purchase where you refer to your upsell page and a customer placing a second order but still being a new customer. Does this mean that they are placing two orders in the same day? If that is the case you may want to use a definition such as placed order is at least 1 in the last x days. Where x is the number of days where you still consider somebody a new buyer based on their purchase dates. For a repeat buyer, you could use something like someone has placed order is at least 2 over all time and add in addit
