Hi All I run an online sunglasses and prescription eyewear store.Our customers are not frequent purchasers and in many cases their purchase follow stheir 24 month recall for eye exam from their Optometrist. Others will buy a pair of non prescription sunglasses each spring. Of course we have outliers and are doing our best to increase shopping frequency, however this is the general rule.My question is regarding list size. We are collecting a lot of sign ups and as you will be aware Klaviyo can get quite expensive. This allied to the fact that you dont want to be sending emails to folks who never or who have stopped opening I would like advice on how to define what an engaged profile is.This would be so different from a daily news email to a realtor and every other business lies somewhere between.I would love your suggestions bearing in mind that we work within a 24 month cycle for prescription eyewear should we consider anyone who has opened one of our ( monthly ) emails in the last 12

Custom Properties Hit and Miss

I have noticed that we have a lot of profiles where the customer properties ‘Brand’ and ‘produrt type’ are not set. This is the case even where the Klaviyo profile Activity log has the purchase listed in timeline. I would appreciate your thoughts. Sean

I have noticed that a number of customers in our unengaged list have in fact enter their email incorrectly eg @gmai.com, @iclpyd.com, etc. Is there a method to find such mispellings other that perhaps exporting en masse and searching a spreadsheet for common mistakes. ThanksSean

When sending campaigns I use segments including what customer has doneUnsubscribed zero timesover all time and Marked Email as Spamzero timesover all timeHowever this will exlcude customers who have resubscribed after unsubscribing. How can I include these profiles? ThanksSean

Multi-metric custom reports for subscribers

I am needing some help with Custom Report. I have report the following Metrics; 1.Subscribed to List2.Unsubscribed3.Subscibed to Back in Stock 4.Marked as Spam5.Updated Preferences6.Email Clicked7.Email Sent It appears that profiled that add their email to pop up form whilst already sudscribed how can I adjust the metric so that it only counts new subscribes.( It would also be interested to know which metrics you include in your reports?) I have received some emails from glassesusa where on viewing mt gmail in box they have a subtitle with a coloured background shows as below;

As you will most likely know serving a relevant pop up to each customer is key to increasing sign up rate. For example if you run a bike shop then the pop up on the specialized road bike pages should have a creative with a road bike image and perhaps text such as ‘Road Bikes good enough for the Tour De France’ whilst if on a mountain bike page the pop up would have a different image and text such as ‘ Serious bikes for Serious Terrain’, etc. It is partcularly important on stores where is a split ie there is little overlap where road bikers are also keen mountain bikers and vice versa. Anyone Use Warranty Registration as step in Post purchase flow?

Anyone Use Warranty Registration as step in Post purchase flow? Although customers are entitle to a certain level of warranty many retailers include a pre paid post card and ask customer to fill in some details and pop in post. The ecommerce version would be a ‘Register your Warranty’ email sent after 4 weeks. An embedded Klaviyo should do the trick to acquite extra profile . I look forward to your thoughts. Sean

We need to pass Shopify Product Vendor and Product Type details to Klaviyo Custom Properties?

Hi All As we would like to segment our list and know which brand and product type has been ordered we have created custom properties within profile. For pop ups we ask for profile information eg favourite brand and product type. However we cant seem to work out how to get the API to send this information when an order is placed. We would appreciate your help/direction. Sean (In our case as an eyewear store we need to know whether customer is interested in glasses or sunglasses and also which brand is of interest as the type of customer interested in Oakley sunglasses may be quite different from a customer looking for Tiffany eyeglasses with prescription.)

How to export file containing Magento categoreis

I can see in customer profiles that we have historical information of cutomers previous order when our store was on Magento platform ( not on Shopify )However when I exprort to csv the Magento information is missing. Has anyone encountered this issue?Thanks
