How can I prevent spam bots signing up while keeping my List set to single opt-in?

Hi, we are hitting an issue where bots are spamming our forms with duplicate firstname and lastname. (like JohnSmith JohnSmith). This is a clear pattern that I can write validation for. Although nothing in Klaviyo seems to allow us to check for this and reject it.We cannot turn on 2 step submission. It’s already up and running/established without it and will affect metrics. Forms are embedded.So my question:Can I script a new validation rule into the signup forms myself for this? Can I add any js to the form, within Klaviyo? Or will I have to rewrite 5 forms as legacy, just for the purpose of custom validation? As it seems like Legacy > Embedded when it comes to flexibility...which is...regressive!Any help appreciated. Thanks.

PopUp Form doesn't display

I have set up a subscription form using a popup form. I have configured it to show to all users who are not on my list (new subscribers), and to appear when the user scrolls to 40% of the page.I have also set it to only display on pages containing a certain string.However, this doesn't work, the popup never appears.Do I have to configure something special to make it appear?

Form notifications

Hey there,I have a couple of questions as I am unfamiliar with Klaviyo flows and forms. I have been using another software previously.I have created a form to embed into my customers website but I’ve noticed that the only notification visible to set up for this form is through creating a flow that notifies the owner that the form has been completed? Is there a way to send the details from the form as part of that notification? So for example a client has completed their name, company details, contact details, how they would like to be contacted and their message. None of this information is included in the notification as part of the flow but would be great if it can be? My second question is around the form set up. I have noticed that once the form is set up there is no way to edit the list the collected data is saved to? Can this be made editable so that a new form doesn’t need to be created? Lastly, there is no option to add multiple triggers in a custom flow? Is there a reason for

Updating Profile property with sign up form

Hey all, Thanks for taking the time to read my questions. I’ve created a sign up form specifically targeting a segment where [Birthday] is unknown. Now for my questions:Do I need to add e-mail even though I already have this if I want the profile to be updated? Once they submit, will the profile be updated, or will I have simply have duplicated profile but now with Birthday Info?Or do I simply close down the form after they submit without ‘submitting it to any form’ as shown in the screenshot below:  Appreciate your time reading this. Have a great day,Sammy

Bots are inflating subscribers across Klaviyo accounts

I just confirmed with a security consultant that we are indeed being targeting by bots looking to infiltrate our lists, inflate it, and try to phish returns and other scams. Ive confirmed it on two other separate klaviyo accounts as well. The biggest alarm is that there is no way to know which accounts are fake, other then going into them - Klaviyo offers no way to stop these bots - and in fact is profiting off us at a inflated rate. Is the question is why hasn't Klaviyo done anything to allow us to prevent this, or is klaviyo running bots to inflate subscriber counts and their revenue?Third party forms/captha is only option? That’s all support has ever told me.

Hi, I have a shop for art prints in German and English. I have set up sign-up forms in German and English and collect the preferred language of the customer like in this explanation: How to Customize Content Based on Language. I have edited my Email confirmation, where people who signed up on my page confirm their subscription (double opt-in).How can I make this Email confirmation in different languages? I want the people who got German sign-up forms (get shown to customers in Germany and Austria) to get a German Email confirmation. Thank you!

Sign-up form not shown

I have a sign-up form that is not showing. I have been searching in the documentation and I have already checked that the store code shows the Klaviyo company ID correctly and only one integration is shown. I compared the code against another store that I manage and the code is the same - of course, each one with its corresponding identifier - but it still doesn't work. What other action can I try? Will I have to delete the integration and do it again?Thanks in advance for your responses.

Embed Form Not Showing

How to make sure sign-up forms are shown only once

Hello,We currently use sign-up forms (announcements/pop-ups) to inform our customers about promotions and freebies. However, we cannot seem to find how to make sure the form is only shown once. Although we have switched on the button "don't show again after submitting or closing..." the fly-out or pop-up keeps on popping up when visiting another page during the same session/visit.Are we missing something?Kind regards,Lien - content creator for Mamzel

How to limit how many choices a customer can select from a multi checkbox?

I am currently using a pop up with a multi checkbox for potential customers to choose what type(s) of products they are interested in. How do I limit the number of choices they can select? And is it possible that if they select one in particular (the option is “I’m not sure”) they can not pick any others? If this doesn’t work with the multi checkbox, is there another option I can use for this purpose?

multi-step form, how to submit to 2 separate lists

Hello.We have a multi-step form. Step 1 collects name/email and adds the individual to our Newsletter list (and triggers the related flow). Step 2 is optional -- if someone wants a free sample, they can continue to Step 2 and provide their mailing address.  In this case, they land on our Samples list. The list part is relevant because we want to make sure to send that double opt-in associated with the Samples list.However, it seems I need to add an email address field to Step 2 in order to be able to direct the submission to a list (or a phone number, which we would prefer to not require).Step 1 applies a “Submit” action that adds to the Newsletter list and continues to Step 2.Step 2 applies a “Submit” action that, ideally, adds to the Samples list and continues to the Thank You text.It would be great to not put the email field on Step1 and Step2, not only because Klaviyo doesn’t like this as it seems it can override the value submitted in Step1, but also because it is a bit of duplica

the email with the discount code not sent out after i confirm my subscription

Hi all,I’m having trouble with my new email list subscriber sign up form. The form itself is working fine, except after an email is submitted and recorded into the list, the email with the discount coupon code wouldn’t be sent out automatically even though i created a discount code in my shopify store
