integrating klaviyo with shopify to get discount emails to customers

hi needing help with the steps and how to get klaviyo pop ups to work correctly so that when customers enter their details into the pop up it sends them a 10% discount they are readily available to use and so its all automated.  any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Form embed background colour on Shopify

Hi all! I'm trying to embed my Klaviyo embed form into my footer on Shopify, but I'm unable to change the container colour behind the embed!  This is what it's looking like: My theme is Sense 13.0.0 These are the options I have in the theme builder:   Does anyone know how to work around this? I want to make the background the same darker yellow colour as the form and other sections. Not sure if it's a Klayivo setting issue or Shopify. Hopefully someone is able to give me a hint here!

How come I do not receive the double opt in email?

I set up a “subscribe” page for an opt in, then it redirects to a fillout survey form. It does redirect just fine but.. The double opt in email never gets triggered or sent. I am unsure why that is or how to fix the issue. I checked my promotions folder, it’s not there either. Anyone know what could be going on? Thanks.

Using cart total to fire cart abandonment popup

Hey hey,I need to fire a popup on exit for cart abandoners above a certain cart total. Right now I’m doing this via a segment (maybe there’s a better way? I’m all ears!) but my question is-- if a user is “unknown” to us, can we still fire that based on the cart total? Thanks!

Hi,I am using Shopify with Klaviyo made my abandoned cart reminder and browse abandoment flows.Currently I am using Dawn theme which doens’t have the pop-up to signup on newsletter/e-mail list, is there a way to create this pop-up on klaviyo to show on my website? Plus is there a way to make this pop-up appear at page of products instead of homepage only?

Contact Form Submission Error: “An error occured when submitting. Please try again later.”

Hi,I have integrated Klaviyo with my Shopify and Gempages site, and I have a form now successfully showing up on one of my pages.However, when I go to submit the form I get the following error:“An error occured when submitting. Please try again later.”I have gone through the help page and double checked that the button is a “submit” button and that the list it is submitting to exists.​​​​​​​Any help would be much appreciated.

Find ALL contacts who filled out a form

We are running a competition - join our mailing list to be in with a chance to win a pair of posh shoes.So I created a Klaviyo sign-up form for this and set it to subscribe people to our main list as usual, thinking that it would be trivial to create a segment showing which contacts had filled out the form so we could randomly select the winner.But it isn’t: there is no option in properties about someone → something someone has or has not done for ‘filled out this sign up form’.There is only the ‘source’ option - but if someone entered the competition who was already a mailing list subscriber, then source would still show how they originally signed up to the mailing list, not that they had filled out the competition form. We don’t want to exclude existing subscribers from the competition, that would be unfair.My current workaround is to make a new list for the form - I tested this by filling it out myself and I did not immediately end up on the list, it seems to have happened after the

Our Klaviyo is integrated with Shopify and we have a sign up form set up through Shopify. I’m wondering which sign up form is better to have though, the one through Shopify or one through Klaviyo? And why?

Hi Guys, New to Klayvio,  We just set up a Sign up form on woocommerce with the “X” it set up so back ground in White but when we publish it seems to inherit our website CSS so the X is not matching the design you can see it on www.woodtowater.co.uk any help would be great please to make it white

How is the subcsription flow still working when I've removed it from my website?

I’ve recently been getting hundreds of spammy emails registered on to my Klaviyo profiles, and subsequently received responses from people who’ve received a subscription email confirmation saying that they haven’t subscribed.  I don’t know how to stop this other than removing the sign up form and subscription column on my website. BUT despite doing that, the Klaviyo flow still manages to send out subscription confirmation emails!! I’m baffled! How is this happening when there isn’t anywhere to capture anyone’s details? I’m beyond confused!

Feature Request - Allow Klaviyo forms to create events when submitted

Klaviyo forms only allow subscribing submissions to one list. That has a whole range of problems: Subscribed to list trigger only works the first time someone subscribes, so running specific campaigns with perks existing subscribers also need access to, is not possible.  If added to a new and unique list, you will have to manually merge lists if you’re keeping a “main list” for all subscribers.  If you use Klaviyo forms to send gated content, you will have to make unique lists or risk existing subscribers not receiving. You can’t use Klaviyo forms for signing people up to ongoing events, since you would have to build a maze of workarounds to store event data in attributes and trigger emails from segments. And many more like these. Everything could be fixed by simply allowing Klaviyo forms to trigger an event when submitted. Just like every other third-party form tool can or already does. Zapier allow all third-party form tools like Typeform to trigger events when submitted The Facebook

Embedded Forms Getting Bot Signups

Hi All -  My client has a bunch of embedded forms to personalize for each of their influencers and their followers. We got hit with spam sign ups, so we disabled the pages on the site for now until we are ready to use the forms again. The issue is these bots are still signing up and it is the exact same name every time. I am wondering if they have the embed code and entering it somewhere else? Has anyone ever run into this issue? And double-opt in is not the answer I am looking for!

Driving to a sample experience

Hi there.  We are a small skincare brand and are looking to increase our conversion by driving our Klaviyo emails to a sample experience.Email flow prompts a consumer to get free samples of our product to try.  Trying is believing. Link from email leads to a form to collect address and verify email addy. Address leads are actioned by sending out a sampler pack of our products via snail mail.Does Klaviyo provide anything like this?  It would be great if I didn’t have to pay some 3rd party to do the form collection as the monthly charges on that are kinda cray.  I anticipate collecting 200-500 addresses per month to start.  Thanks!

How can I prevent spam bots signing up while keeping my List set to single opt-in?

Hi, we are hitting an issue where bots are spamming our forms with duplicate firstname and lastname. (like JohnSmith JohnSmith). This is a clear pattern that I can write validation for. Although nothing in Klaviyo seems to allow us to check for this and reject it.We cannot turn on 2 step submission. It’s already up and running/established without it and will affect metrics. Forms are embedded.So my question:Can I script a new validation rule into the signup forms myself for this? Can I add any js to the form, within Klaviyo? Or will I have to rewrite 5 forms as legacy, just for the purpose of custom validation? As it seems like Legacy > Embedded when it comes to flexibility...which is...regressive!Any help appreciated. Thanks.

PopUp Form doesn't display

I have set up a subscription form using a popup form. I have configured it to show to all users who are not on my list (new subscribers), and to appear when the user scrolls to 40% of the page.I have also set it to only display on pages containing a certain string.However, this doesn't work, the popup never appears.Do I have to configure something special to make it appear?

Form notifications

Hey there,I have a couple of questions as I am unfamiliar with Klaviyo flows and forms. I have been using another software previously.I have created a form to embed into my customers website but I’ve noticed that the only notification visible to set up for this form is through creating a flow that notifies the owner that the form has been completed? Is there a way to send the details from the form as part of that notification? So for example a client has completed their name, company details, contact details, how they would like to be contacted and their message. None of this information is included in the notification as part of the flow but would be great if it can be? My second question is around the form set up. I have noticed that once the form is set up there is no way to edit the list the collected data is saved to? Can this be made editable so that a new form doesn’t need to be created? Lastly, there is no option to add multiple triggers in a custom flow? Is there a reason for

Updating Profile property with sign up form

Hey all, Thanks for taking the time to read my questions. I’ve created a sign up form specifically targeting a segment where [Birthday] is unknown. Now for my questions:Do I need to add e-mail even though I already have this if I want the profile to be updated? Once they submit, will the profile be updated, or will I have simply have duplicated profile but now with Birthday Info?Or do I simply close down the form after they submit without ‘submitting it to any form’ as shown in the screenshot below:  Appreciate your time reading this. Have a great day,Sammy
