How to ask CONSENT on FORM

So I have multiple forms on my website. I want users who submit the form to have an option to opt in or opt out of email marketing.If they opt in, then they will be added to EMAIL MARKETING - YES list. If they do not select anything or select no, then NOTHING should happen. Their previous profile property or YES or NO should stay the same. If they select no, then NOTHING should happen. Their previous profile property or YES or NO should stay the same.How do I add that to my forms?

Klaviyo on Non-ecommerce WordPress Blog?

Hi. I’m using WordPress for my blog which is not an e-commerce site yet. I’m planning to make it an e-commerce site a year from now and I want to be better at using Klaviyo by then. But as of now, I’m having trouble with showing my Klaviyo forms in the website and I would highly appreciate it if anyone in this community can help me out.Because of my WordPress theme, I need to use the Genesis eNews Extended plugin and I would put the embed code: <div class="klaviyo-form-Vqi7ck"></div> to the Form Action field but when I test it by signing up with a personal email address, it comes out as an Error 404.  Please help. Thank you!

Why aren't my subscribers getting emails after they submit this Shopify form?

Hi all,I have a problem with the subscribe form on my Shopify, see the picture I sent, I tried to subscribe to the form at the bottom of the shop, but when I subscribe it doesn't send on Klaviyo and my flow on Klaviyo nothing happens.How do I get the form at the bottom of my shop to receive emails from customers and have them sent to Klaviyo?Thank you.

Why don't profile property update links work in forms?

Hey!I’d like to update a subscriber’s profiles on the success slide of a sign up form using this:{% update_property_link 'profile_property' 'property_value' 'redirect_link' %}But it’s just giving me 400 Bad Link /Cloudfare errors.So one example use case is for a jewellery brand, a person subscribes and then on the success slide there’s 2 CTAs, one to SHOP GOLD and one to SHOP SILVER and I’d like to tag the profile based on which button they choose.But I keep getting errors. Does this not work on forms, only in emails? Do I need to ask that question on a different slide using the Radio Buttons instead? Trying to collect the info inconspicuously 😉.

How can I prevent spam bots signing up while keeping my List set to single opt-in?

Hi, we are hitting an issue where bots are spamming our forms with duplicate firstname and lastname. (like JohnSmith JohnSmith). This is a clear pattern that I can write validation for. Although nothing in Klaviyo seems to allow us to check for this and reject it.We cannot turn on 2 step submission. It’s already up and running/established without it and will affect metrics. Forms are embedded.So my question:Can I script a new validation rule into the signup forms myself for this? Can I add any js to the form, within Klaviyo? Or will I have to rewrite 5 forms as legacy, just for the purpose of custom validation? As it seems like Legacy > Embedded when it comes to flexibility...which is...regressive!Any help appreciated. Thanks.

How can i make typeform DOB and Country Update the standard Klaviyo properties rather than custom fields?

For an “integration” not to integrate standard information seem ridiculous. I contacted support and they simply said either it's not possible or I need to set something up within the developers section. https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/update_profileCan someone please help!

Pop-up form shows on mobile (when it shouldn't)

Hi!! I have a popup form that is set to only display on desktop (I have a separate form for mobile only). Interestingly, the form that is to only show on desktop is showing up on mobile, but only in Safari. I tested it in Chrome on my mobile, and the correct mobile-only form shows up there.Below is a screenshot of the form that shows on mobile/Safari (it got partially covered by the cookie banner). I wouldn’t care so much if the image wasn’t visible, but it makes the intake form so small and practically impossible to read! I can’t figure out why this is showing up in mobile/Safari when it shouldn’t be displaying at all.  Here’s the setup of this form that should be on desktop only:  Any thoughts on why this is happening? Thanks,Nan

Multi-step form collecting profile information after submitting email

Hi community, I am new to Klaviyo and have been struggling with what seems to be a limitation with the multi-step forms.I have embedded a multi-step form on my website, which starts by asking for the email. On the second step I ask for first name and last name to complete their profile information.I have been testing but it seems like the profile information doesn’t get saved on my subscribers’ contact information.More precisely it feels like the form is actually submitted only at the first step, I think that if i had put first name and last name as the first step it would have worked but it’s not the path that I wanted to take. Can you confirm if what I want to do is possible ? Many thanks

Hi there, I am trying to set up a form on my website pages that will allow customers to request a free call with us. Our Klavyio account is integrated with our Shopify as well. I want to know how to get the data from the form to flow to Shopify so we can start a conversation with our customers. How to automatically add tags into Shopify from Klayvio form.

So when someone completes our sign-up form, they automatically get added as a customer into Shopify. I need that customer to automatically have a tag called “Dealer”. Just for example, this is a private/hidden form which is only used by our B2B Dealers around the world. Hence why I need them to automatically have a tag in Shopify called “Dealer” so that I can filter them as and when needed. Regards, Charlie.

Restrict Page Access Based on Klaviyo List Membership

I'm looking for some guidance on how to restrict access to a specific page on my website based on whether a user is a member of a specific Klaviyo list. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: Restricted Page Access: I have a webpage that contains secret deals. I want only users who are members of a specific Klaviyo list (let's call it "Secret Deals Access") to be able to view this page. Set Up form Capture

Hi -I would like to set up a flyout form that displays when someone is on a product page for longer than 10 seconds.  When someone fills out the information and clicks “send” then an email (by setting up the flow) get sent to our sales/care team.   I have set up the form correctly (I think), but I’m running into a few issues:I have both an email and a phone for quick capture.  But I’m getting an warning “There are multiple input fields for the profile properties. This can lead to data being overridden or one visitor creating duplicate profiles.”  Do I have to have 2 steps to capture both an email and a phone number?   The desired outcome is to have both on one single form.  The Message field - there is not native comments field on a contacts profile. I created a new custom field in the form called lead_inquiry.    In the flow internal alert, I’m not able to see the custom field that I just created to include in the email.  I’ve read that it’s not displaying because there are no contact

Everytime someone puts their email to subscribe to the email list it gives them this. It did work for a month or two but I do not know how to fix it now, please let me know how I can fix this.

My LIST from a form does not match my SEGMENT from a form. Help??

Hi Community…We are running a giveaway on Shopify. I am using a Klaviyo embedded form on the contest page. The form uses double opt-in (since we got form bombed last time we ran a contest and only used single opt-in).The form does two things. It submits the user’s name to a list called “contest entries” and it also tags their profile with a custom property called “contest entry = true”.Here is the weird part. Our LIST has 400 entries so far from people who filled out the form on Shopify. I checked and it seems that these are all people who entered and confirmed via double opt-in.However, the number of people on the list seems low compared to the number of people who have viewed the page. I know some people won’t want to double opt-in (or the confirmation goes to junk, spam, or promotions and they never see it).So, I also created a segment that pulls all profiles where “contest entry” = “true”. The segment has over 800 people on it. That property is not used anywhere else in my account.

Different flow for different language filtered by profile property

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I used Klaviyo so I am not sure if I set this up correctly or if I missed something. I created a separate flow for each language and am collecting my customers language preference in the sign-up forms. (currently I only have 2 languages but plan to expand to at least 5) To make sure those who chose english or those who have signed up to my email list before I started collecting language preference will receive the english flow I set up the filter like this:for those who have chosen deutsch the filter looks like this: Is this set up correctly? Did I miss something? Should I have created segments based on these languages and then filtered the flow by segments?I want to be sure that no-one will receive the same flow (for example the welcome flow, or abandoned cart flow) in both languages!Thank you for your feedback!​​​​ p.s.: When setting up the profile filters for my email flow I saw there exists already a Klaviyo Property called Locale: Language.
