Using {% current_year %} in templates is sending with year 2022. Why?

As the title say, I started using {% current_year %} in a custom email template, and these are sending with the year 2022. Any ideas? ©{% current_year %} Shine Wedding Invitations As this is a custom template, I’ve checked locally and inside the Klaviyo editor, just to be sure: The above variable is in my code. I didn’t forget to add it on the Klaviyo side of the equation or something like that. Not really sure what’s going on here. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide!

Include "continue shopping" link in form/newsletter flow?

I have a popup with a promise of a discount code for newsletter subscribers on all of my product pages. On submission, the user then enters my “welcome to the newsletter” flow. The coupon code is added to the email and it works perfectly. I’d like to add a “continue shopping” button with a link to the product page where they submitted the form so the user can simply copy the coupon code and click to keep shopping. I’ve tried the {{ event.URL }} variable, but since the event that triggered the flow is the form submission (not a product view), it seems the event has no URL. Any ideas?

Transparency

Klaviyo not working on Chrome on Macbook Pro

Ive just signed up to Klaviyo but I cant get anything to appear when I log in on Chrome. It works on Firefox but I do everything on Chrome so I dont want to change. I’ve updated my Mac OS, updated to latest version of Chrome. All Im getting is a blank white screen.

How can I make a newsletter on klaviyo?

Hey,I created a flow and want it to act like a newsletter. That is, newly added subscribers get only the latest email from thereon and don’t have to start from the first-ever email in the flow. How can I do that?

Can't type in title section when creating List or Segment

I am trying to create a list and a segment however I can’t type into the title section.Obviously this results in a failure to continue to next step.I have tried multiple search engines and a different computer. same result.Is anyone else having the same issue?

Retro send Flow email to new subscriber?

I’m new to Klaviyo and have launched my first flow for new subscribers. I set it up as an email party that began today and will send emails everyday this week. Everything seems to be going okay except some new subscribers joined this morning and I’m unsure how to send the email from today rather than the first automated email to confirm they were on the list. I hope this doesn’t sound too confusing!What I’m asking is, how do I send an email in the flow manually?

EMAIL PLACEHOLDER UNSUBSCRIBE

Hi. I’ve just created my first campaign and sent a test to myself. I added an “Unsubscribe” text box and personalized it, and everything is working fine. However, when I receive the email, there is a placeholder at the bottom underneath my email: When you click on the link, it sends you to this page: How to I assign this link to go to my personalized “Unsubscribe” page?

Adjusting sending email address on a dedicated sending domain

Hi all, I was hoping to get some clarity on something. We just moved to a sending dedicated sending domain and I wanted to adjust the sending email address from info@company.com to info@send.company.com. Please see my questions:Are both those email addresses the same, and if not, do we need to create an email address in order for this be a viable send address? I know many brands have noreply@company.com to basically let customers know that any reply that is sent will go unanswered. I am perfectly happy with the latter approach, but just want to confirm whether you do or do not need access to the email address being used (specifically on this subdomain).  I have seen other threads where others have suggested using marketing@company.com for anything promo related, and transactions@company.com for any transactional email. Can anyone confirm this will work on a DSD, and what are the benefits from a deliverability perspective other than letting customers know email is transactional and whic

Why won't emojis render in emails?

When creating an HTML email and pushing via the API all the emojis are rendered as “?”I have tried different encoding but it seems to be a Klaviyo issue, I would be very grateful if someone knows how to fix this!

How can I create a Re-Engagement campaign with CTA to unsubscribe or manage preferences?

I’m wanting to create a re-engagement campaign for my business. I’ve been doing some research on templates and a lot of brands show subscribers YES or NO CTAs. If someone clicks NO I think they should be taken to a page that is confirming they no longer want to receive emails or are opting out. Unfortunately my business is not technically capable of that.Are there any alternate landing pages people have used or is a there a option available in Klaviyo for this? Thanks all.

Have a big list of people we never contacted, what's the best way to approach list cleaning without any data?

ContextSigned up to Klaviyo back in May and have a huge list of 140k emails and only 10k have any meaningful data I can use to create my engage and unengaged segments, another 10k past purchasers and the rest don’t have any data since being imported from Shopify. The sunset flows, unengaged segments and suppression list process are clear to me. I already suppressed about 20k emails that didn’t accept marketing.QuestionI would like to know how to best approach the data collection and subsequent list cleaning without having to blast all 100k emails at the same time for (let’s say) 10 times until I have enough data to see who is active or not. Are there any segments I can create that would allow me contact these partially?What I tried alreadyTried creating a segment based on people’s first activity but only goes back to May, so it leaves out all 100k emails completely Tried creating a segment based on profile creation, but they were all basically created in May so they are all included My

Klaviyo integration with Typeform not working properly

Hi,We have successfully set up an integration in Klaviyo with Typeform but are having a problem.Not all the fields are being captured in Klaviyo. Specifically, it seems that all the custom variables set up in Typeform are not showing up in Klaviyo. In total we have about 35 fields, of which we need about 18 fields in Klaviyo. About 10 of the 18 fields are calculated/logic based fields i.e. custom variables in Typeform that we are hoping to appropriately segment customers in Klaviyo (e.g. which State/Province they are in, which service are they eligible to purchase, what they showed interest in, etc.). It would not be possible to segment them properly in Klaviyo without these complex calculated fields. Appreciate any help or insights on how to accomplish this? Is there some sort of limitation on custom variables being passed? If there is limit on total number of data fields passed, we could try trim to stay within that limit too. ThanksUmer

Klaviyo logging me out several times a day...

For a while now, Klaviyo has been randomly logging me out a few times daily. Usually, I’m in the middle of working on something. To make matters worse, each time I log back in, I’m presented with a captcha (I’ve lost count of the number of bridges and motorcycles I’ve selected!) even though I have 2FA enabled. Very frustrating when deadlines are looming...What is the rationale behind the session termination? Is it just me being picked on 😉 or are others experiencing this?RegardsAndy
