Email body is added to preview text add on iOS email app

Hey @barakl Thanks for reaching out for help with your HTML template. I am asking an expert in HTML for help with this. However, based on some baseline knowledge I can say that each ESP displays emails slight differently making it hard to format emails to show exactly the same across all providers. I will update you as soon as possible when I have a clearer answer on how to solve this challenge!

Issues with tag code disappearing and copy/pasting not working in text blocks

Hey @jesseb Thanks for reaching out for help with your email template.This may seem like a silly question but are you saving the template before previewing? There have been instances of this happening when the template hasn’t been saved first, it will revert back to what it was without the tag.As for the copy and paste not working, I need to ask someone who has more experience with updating source codes. I will let you know what I find!

Long sunset - spreading out profiles over email sends

Hey @Stijn Meyvaert Sorry for the delay in response! I think your strategy makes sense! You want to keep them engaged with your brand, without hurting your deliverability! Another thought would to add a question to your signup form on how frequently they would like to receive marketing or the type of updates they would like to receive and then use those profile properties to create segments to send to. This way you are only sending on the frequency and updates they want. This may also help reduce a drop in your metrics.

How to stop coupon email from being delivered to spam?

Hey @entrepreneur25 Welcome to the community and sorry for the delayed response!Check out these other community post on emails landing in the spam box:You can create a signup form success message that appears once it has been submitted and within the success message you can add messaging about checking their spam inbox if they don’t see it.Hope this helps!

Lead to active customer

Hey @ovieapp Welcome to the Community!Flows evaluate a profile at every stage of the flow before sending the email. So if a profile become Active during the flow they will exit. However, welcome series flows are usually list based so they would still need to subscribe to the list in order to start receiving the welcome series.

Show products on backorders in product recommendation feed

Hey @Lina Sorry for the delayed response!I am asking one of our WooCommerce experts if there is a work around for the inventory filter for the product feeds. As far as I know there has has to be inventory for it to show in a dynamic feed. but you might be able to do so with a static product block. I will let you know as soon as I hear back about the work around!

Someone is added to a list flow trigger

Hey @andigarcia Thanks for asking a great question that many of our members have had.You can add past profiles which allows you to retroactively add qualified recipients into a flow that would’ve triggered the flow before it was set to live or manual. This process is formerly known as back-population. Since a list triggered flow allows a profile to move through the flow only once, any profile that has already entered the flow will not be allow to re-enter but any previous profile that has never been through the flow will be added in for the send. The article I linked will provide you instructions on how to do this in your account and links to additional info you migh† need.Hope this helps!

Using Klaviyo for third party app emails notifications

Hey @mrosique Thanks for reaching out again for help! Happy to jump in here to help figure out why the syntax isnt working correctly.My first question is, does this syntax already belong to a profile? Klaviyo will not recognize it as correct until at least 1 profile has this profile property. The easiest way to do this would be to send a test event from the app you want to use to Klaviyo. Once this has passed into Klaviyo to your test profile, you shouldn’t have any issues using the syntax. Second, how did you discover this profile property? Was it from documentation for implementation or did you find it after setting up the flow trigger and collecting it from a populated profile for testing?

Abandoned Cart Flow not feeding through to product checkout/cart

Hey @tombarrow Thanks for reaching out for help with your abandoned cart flow.Couple of quick questions, are you using the standard Woocommerce checkout or do you have a customer checkout? Are you using the syntax: {{ event.extra.CartRebuildKey }} for the button, which is the key Woocommerce is using to stock the information of the cart and Klaviyo is using to rebuild the cart:

How to send post purchase email to past orders?

Hey @Surajp8 Thanks for asking for help with your post purchase flow.Checkout this Help center article on adding past profiles to a flow which allows you to queue people for flow actions retroactively. This process is formerly known as back-population. This is useful when you create a new flow, as adding past profiles allows you to populate contacts into your flow that would have been queued in real-time had the flow existed earlier.Hope this helps!

Resolving Email Subscription Glitches: Finding and Removing Outdated Messages

Hey @JezP Welcome to the community and thanks for asking a great question!I would suggest checking your archived/deleted flow section of your account to see if the message that is still sending after deletion is still there if its not in your current list of available flows. If the message has been archived or deleted is should not still be sending. If you know the profile that was sent this message in error, you can check their profile information to see where this message came from and so you can remove it. As for the device, this shouldnt matter as the ESP controls what your customers receive in their inbox not the device itself.Hope this helps!

Added to cart trigger on shopify home page

Hey @Siddique2020 Thanks for reaching out for help with this. While our support team is correct, that the add to cart metric can only be used on product pages, there might be other options the community can help you explore more. Can you share more about what you are trying to accomplish? Why do you want to use the add to cart metric since this isn't a product page? Are your customer able to add products to a checkout from this page? If so, have you thought about using the abandon checkout metric instead? Let us know some more details and Im sure one of our genius community members will be able to help!
