Hi everyone! We had a question towards the end of the session about calculating your buying cycle. In this help center article, you can find information about how you can use predictive analytics to understand your typical customer buying cycle: Create a segment of everyone who has made a purchase in the last two years. Then, export this segment into a CSV file and average the Average Time Between Orders column. This way, you can get the average buying cycle for all of your customers.To understand your overall customer journey, you can use lots of data sources:Klaviyo Your ecommerce platform Reviews/customer feedback Focus groups Surveys Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!

Fantastic, I’m glad you were able to get your main list updated, and I’m so happy you enjoyed the training! That’s always the goal. 😊For list cleaning, we have a detailed help center article that can walk you through that process. For SMS, have you gotten SMS enabled in your account? There are several different methods of growing your SMS list, converting current email subscribers, and acquiring new subscribers. I can share a few resources with you: Send out an email campaign to current email subscribers (who are not subscribed to SMS), letting them know about the benefits of your SMS program. Think through how you can incentivize people to share their phone numbers with you; what can you offer that is going to be different and valuable via SMS? This would be a good campaign to target at your highly engaged customers or your VIPs. Create an SMS-only sign-up form and target this form to existing email subscribers. Hi @Mishy_B! Great news. You don’t need to utilize the condition “Person is in [main mailing list]” anymore as a marketing condition. Klaviyo recently updated the consent language and conditions we can use for segmenting (see more information here). Using this condition is sufficient: If someone can or cannot receive marketingPerson can receive email marketingBecause person subscribedThe highly engaged 90-day segment does not need to include “Person is in [main mailing list].” That was an error, and I have updated the reference sheet. You can find the updated segment reference sheet here. I have also updated this on our session Community post. This condition listed above (If someone can or cannot receive marketing → Person can receive email marketing → Because person subscribed) will search for consent across all lists (though we do recommend keeping one main mailing list for your email subscribers and one main list for your SMS subscribers for easier list management and cleaning). Hi @laurenfallon: Jen-Ai responded: To add to their wishlist our customers did not need to add to cart, so we kept our abandoned cart flow live. But if I remember correctly we paused our browse abandonment! I hope that helps. 😊

Recap: [Strategy session] Account audit: Revitalize your Klaviyo account for 2023 (for entrepreneurs and small businesses)

@OliviaC great question! The recording for the full training is available if you’d like to check it out. There's not a one-size-fits-all answer for this. It will depend on the individual business - how much information/history you have available, when your last audit took place, and which elements you’re auditing. During the training, we recommended that businesses conduct audits at least every 3-6 months to stay on top of account health, so generally looking at the last 3 months of data could be a good place to start.The guide walks through four elements: deliverability, acquisition, flows, and campaigns, so the amount of data you want for each of those specific sections also may differ. For example, for deliverability metrics, you could certainly look at the last 30 days to give you an good assessment of your current sending reputation, and for campaigns, you may want to look at the last 3 months of campaigns to see which messages performed best. @CRC Thank you for your question! Could you explain more about when that scenario may come up so we can best try to answer that question? If you create your static coupons in Shopify, you’ll manage those in Shopify. If you create your unique coupon codes in Klaviyo, you will be able to see in Klaviyo when all of these dynamic codes have been used up. You won’t need to clean up or archive anything in Shopify. Let me know if you have further questions on this, and we’d be happy to delve in deeper!
