Risk of overwriting profile information when importing a .CSV?

So long story short  - I’m trying to find a workaround while transitioning from a 3rd party “back in stock” notification app to using Klaviyo, but there are quite a few people already signed up for notifications from the app.My plan was to create multiple small lists via manual upload (that will later on be deleted) for each SKU that is awaiting replenishment notification, then create a simple template and send manual campaigns as each item is re-stocked… but many of the profiles already exist in Klaviyo. Most of them are not subscribed or suppressed (some heavy list cleaning is on the horizon once I’ve implemented win-back and sunset campaigns/flows).I’m concerned about what happens if I upload CSV’s that only contain an email address, and the email address is already associated with a profile in Klaviyo...Per this article: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005078967-How-to-Create-and-Add-Contacts-to-a-New-List:“Any value/column that you include in a CSV upload that alread

I want to generate automatic emails for reminder dates chosen by customers

Hello, my customers buy gifts in my store. For example, a birthday present for their mother.I want it on the thank you page or in my account, on shopify. They can leave reminders for their daughter's birthday, her anniversary, or whatever. And that on that date an automatic email is sent every year.How could I generate this?

How to create dynamic product content blocs pulled from our PIM system?

Hi Klaviyo support,We’re new customers on board, working on migrating from our old ESP over to Klaviyo.I am working on designing a couple of templates.  In our old ESP, we’re able to dynamically insert products in templates / campaign editor.We pull the products from our PIM system from which we copy-paste a product-ESP ID, a 14-digit code, into a dynamic field in the campaign editor, from which the product displays. How is it possible to have a similar solution with Klaviyo ? Thanks for your help. Rgds. Exclude Products in Draft from Shopify Feed

We experience some issues with our Shopify product feed.Products in draft are being included in the product feed, and displayed in our product blocks. How are they excluded? Same issue with our inventory status. Products being out of stock, are likewise getting displayed in our product blocks, even though these products are not available, and can’t get purchased when out of stock. Finally we also struggle with the price format, which is including ",00" decimals in product prices, even though prices on our Shopify shop, appear without any decimalsI sincerely appreciate your help.

Question about Email plan and monthly pricing

Hi,I have a question about how klaviyo would charge for my email plan? I’m using $400 plan, it said that I can have 25000 people and unlimited emails sent.Now I exceeded my 25000 limit, so how would klaviyo bill me in the next billing cycle? Will it be $400 x3 (base on the 305% used) or it still remain the same as $400 ?And what will happen if I downgrade to a smaller plan, because this sending limit is only temporary ?  If I upgrade my plan when scheduling a campaign, how would klaviyo bill me for extra contacts?

DevTools failed to load source map

My flyout form takes a while to appear on the page. I’ve set it for a 10 second delay. Integrating BIS on Shopify with non-free theme

Hi all, Klaviyo’s standard Back In Stock functionality works great, on a free Shopify theme. But fails to function properly on a non-free theme where some variants are in stock and others aren’t.Do any of you know where one might look to manually trigger the BIS check when switching variants in a theme? Any ideas where one might find docs on this please?Thank you

Trigger Split - Item brands - Data type clarification?

So I’m building a win-back flow, and would like to include a split for people who have purchased items from a particular brand versus those who have not. I added a trigger split and selected “Item Brands” and the default data type was “list”… can anyone clarify if this is the best choice? I would have thought Boolean would be better since it’s true/false, but that doesn’t actually let you choose a brand by name… I understand people could have purchased items from multiple brands but I’d like to split between “includes this brand” and “doesn’t include this brand”. Thanks!

Bounced email impacting campaigns

We have a customer who is not receiving our emails since one of our campaigns bounced. We don't send campaigns to users who have bounced emails two times in the last 365 days. As in his activity feed we can only see the 'Bounced Email via Klaviyo' once, we would like to know why he is not receiving campaigns anymore.Is there any reason this is happening, and how it can be fixed? Thanks!

Abandoned Cart E-Mails get sent despite purchase (double profiles)

Hey Klaviyo Community, after a few attempts with the Klaviyo Support, I try to find a solution to my problem. Maybe some of you encountered the same issue: Our cart abandonments get sent out to people despite them placing the order because of two separate profiles engaging. Say a lead receives a campaign, clicks and lands on the website. They proceed, add something to their cart and then proceed to checkout. This all happens and get’s linked to, say “Profile A”. It’s the e-mail they received a mail from and are active on site. Then, they proceed filling out the checkout form, but insert a different e-mail then they are currently active with inside the checkout. Say Profile B. So Profile A started the Checkout, but Profile B - which are both the same customer - places the order. So the abandoned cart gets sent to Profile A, while Profile B gets the order confirmation. So actually, it’s working as it should and some would argue that the impact it has on us is low. Subscription Reminder Emails

We manage an account for a company that has product subscriptions (Weekly, every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks, and 12 weeks). We have been trying to set up different flows for each of these subscription variations but are still having some issues. Course of action example: The conditional split is allows for someone to be removed from the flow IF they have “Cancelled Plan” at least once since starting this flow, “Ship Now and Reschedule” at least once since starting this flow, “Skip Next Order” at least once since starting this flow, “Cancelled Order” at least once since starting this flow, “shipping_date_change” is in the next 3 days, and “Subscription next shipping date change” at least once since starting this flow. (NOTE: the conditions in red are also custom conditions we have added)All conditions that in green have been working well. Empty Custom Properties issue and workaround

In our specific situation we have some users who have sales reps and many who do not.On our end we typical set the field’s value to an empty string.A property with an empty string does not get stored on profiles in Klaviyo.My proposed workaround was to use two properties with one being a hasRep flag if you will and the other being a rep name.What I am curious about is, is there a way to set a property to either an empty or null value to avoid the dual property solution?

Trigger Split for Value Not Working for Abandoned Cart

We recently got the Abandoned Cart flow going based on the article for Shopify here as well as the article for preventing multiple events triggering multiple times for one user at this article here. It looks to be behaving properly, except for one issue that seems to be creating two problems:We separated cart values for high vs. low, with a discount code being offered for cart values over a certain amount (in this case, $59.94). I made a trigger split for it, as you can see.However, it doesn’t seem to be registering the amount, as no emails have been sent or are waiting in the Low Value Cart.Not only that, ALL abandoned carts, both low and high value, seem to be getting the email with the discount code. I confirmed this by testing it myself as well as checking with other users.What is wrong with this trigger that it’s not registering the value?It’s under the $value, so it’s not a custom metric that sounds like could be an issue.From my limited understanding, everything looks correct. Send Emails to Multiple Target Lists in Flow

Hi all,I'm about to create an Email Flow for our next Halloween program. I don’t know whether to choose Campaign or Flow yet as I want to send a list of 2 to 3 emails.If I create an Campaign in Klaviyo, I can only send 1 email and it's hard to track, you know when someone places order, I don’t want to send the next mail to them.However, if I use Flow, I can’t choose all the lists of audience. It always starts with trigger, I can't choose my available customers.Anyone who has experience in doing this can advise? How to send 2 - 3 emails to the existing customers and optimise the flow? Should I download all the mail contacts from my List and Segment and then re-upload when I start the flow? Thank you so much for reading this! Your answer means a lot to me!Tristan

[Shopify] Combining shopify e-mail & klaviyo customers

Hello! I am fairly new to Klaviyo. I started a fly in popup for my shop that all funnel under a segment called “newsletter.” Am I able to add the e-mails collected via Shopify onto Klaviyo in order to have all e-mail contacts in one spot? If there is a link someone could send with this answer if it has already been asked before that would be fantastic as well.So thankful for this community!
