CTR Reporting

Hi, I’m having an issue finding CTR reporting (not click rate) reporting within Klavyio, it seems to have disappeared. I see it on the Dashboard as an overall metric, but I do not see it as an option when building out custom reports; is there a reason why this was removed?

Orginization URL and Shopify URL are different - how to use Flows with Shopify?

We use Klaviyo for both marketing/product info/announcement emails as well as things like Abandoned Cart in Shopify. We would like organization.url to continue to point to our main brand/marketing site, but we also want to use Flows with Shopify. Our Shopify store has a different URL, so the pre-configured Flows, such as abandoned cart, are generating links like coolbrand-marketingsite.com/products/product-name instead of coolbrand-shopify.com/products/product-name. What’s the best way to handle this?

Best approach for multiple languages

Hi there!I’ve read through some posts from 2 years ago on how best set up your klaviyo flows when you serve customers of different languages. Like the user in this post:  said: -”Add Conditional Splits to Each Flows Based on Language Variable... would add complexity to the Flow with lots of branches to manage ….  at 5 languages, flows could have 10s of elements in a flow, just to maintain the similar logic for different languages... it honestly just sounds like a support nightmare…. “ I currently have 3 languages but am planning to add more (since my store is located in europe, there are many more languages spoken here) Therefore I was thinking of creating one list per language as one user suggested in this post: To me this sounds like the simplest solution to me. Since I am still at the beginning of building my email list, I would not have to worry about moving current subscribers from one list to another.But, in these posts there was also mentioned that Klaviyo is working on new feat

Birthday property date formatting

Hi,We have migrated our contact list from another ESP to Klaviyo. We have included a custom property Birthday and mapped it as a “date” format.Currently I’m seeing this in our account:- Imported contacts include date written asBefore migrating we have formatted Birthday dates as MM/DD/YYYY as seen below.Our pop-up form collecting birthdays is using the same profile property “Birthday” and date data type formatted as MM/DD/YYYY.We wish to know if this is a common and correct way for our data to be displayed on a profile or do we have to re-import our Birthday data field from the primary exported list and change formatting in the mentioned corresponding pop-up and preferences page setup?I would also like to clarify why the source property in imported contacts is set as “-6”?If we do have to re-import Birthday data to the account, will it automatically update only the existing Birthday property assigned to a specific e-mail?Thank you,

Welcome email flow is behaving erratically!

I’ve set up a welcome email flow. It has a total of 3 emails. The list to which the sign-up form is connected has a double opt-in.Here’s what it looks like:Sign up form (10% discount code)    - User enters email id in this form in exchange for the 10% discount code Once the user confirms their subscription they’re entered into the list connected with the sign-up formThe welcome flow:-Trigger (When someone is added to a list) First email: Welcome email (With a 10% discount code) Time delay (I set it at 2 mins to test out the flow) Conditional split (If someone has not ordered in 30 days) If Yes (Receives an email with a discount code + Brand story) - Second Email If No (Receives an email with just Brand story and no discount code) - Second Email Last email: Contains Customer testimonials Flow endsHere are the issues I’m facing:The time delay is not working correctly. Identifying Subscribers by Region

Here’s an interesting one. One of our clients had their multiple regional stores connected to the same Klaviyo account, vis-a-vis klaviyo.js snippet. Turns out, we’ve been collecting subs from Australia and Canada in addition to US subscribers. We’re trying to filter them and put them into the correct accounts, so we’ve created a segment of people where the country is either set to Canada, or phone number region is Canada. Is there any other way you would identify subs?

Dynamic Tags For Product Review

I’m making a review invitation email in HTML . I want to custom code a  “write a review” button. What is the dynamic tag that generates the URL to the product’s klaviyo review submission page? I would prefer this to a simple anchor point address that directs users to the product page review widget. I have also included Name of Customer {{ event.extra.customer.first_name|default:'' }}Name of product  {{ event.Items.0|default:'' }}Product variant {{ event.extra.line_items.0.product.variant.options.Volume|default:'' }}Like to product {{ organization.url|trim_slash }}/products/{{ item.product.handle }}I hope these are correct at least!I understand that only one item will be included in the review invitation even if the order was a multi item purchase. I am using a shopify integration.

Shopify Add to cart snippet stopped working/sending info

On 4/2 I installed the Klaviyo code snippet onto my Shopify store (Dawn theme). Snippet 2 accroding to their install guide is the one that worked for me. I tested and it seemed to work fine. But Shopify hasn’t sent any add to cart info to Klaviyo since my original test. I’m hoping someone knows why.I am using a bundle app called Fast Bundle and it was installed when I originally set up and tested the snippet.I have also unistalled and reinstalled the Shopify integration through Klaviyo to no avail. Can someone help me get this working?

Trying to set up sunset segment, but only 3 in it and they've both been active this week, there must be somthing wrong with my definition.

I’ve tried to follow this guide to set up a sunset segment, https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017518492  but  I must be doing something wrong with my segment definition, I have followed what the guide suggests  using 90 days in stead of 72 days. But when the segment is created there are only 3 people in it. I also cannot find the property suggested “Created a profile” so I used “subscribed to email” instead. Any help very welcome ?

Automatically suppress Amazon customers pulled in through Shopify integration

Is it possible to automatically suppress Amazon profiles?  We have Shopify integrated with Klaviyo and it is pulling in our Amazon customers.  I went ahead and setup the segment > uploaded to the Suppressed list.  Seems there should be an easy way to do this through a flow.

Exclude products from abandoned cart emails

Hello!I am wondering if it is possible to exclude certain items from the dynamic table block for the abandoned cart e-mails. Or only include certain items/ collections. These are items that are “in” their cart but I do not want to send them to encourage them to finish checking out. For example I have the cloverly app for offsetting carbon footprint for shipping and I also have an app that I use to have multiple options for products. I don’t want these items showing in the abandoned cart e-mail. Is there a way to go about excluding these?Thanks so much for any help!Natalie

Send copy of order confirmation without sending to customer

I have a shipping/logistics partner and want to send order/shipping details to them automatically using Klaviyo. I have a customized template and want to trigger this after every order, but I don’t want to send the email to the customer. How do I setup this flow to “hardcode” a recipient email that won’t change with every order?

Which survey tools (including free options) does Klaviyo integrate with and recommend?

Typeform looks like the obvious tool to use for customer surveys, but it’s an expensive option, as is Survicate.  Does Klaviyo integrate with any other survey providers that offer a cheaper/free service - like Tally?

How to add the variant image as dynamic image in a abandoned cart flow?

Hello,I use Shopify and I am trying to create the Abandoned Cart flow, however when I add the dynamic image variable, it’s pulling the product’s first image, and not the variant image that is actually added to the cart. Does anyone know if its possible to populate the variant’s image so I do not confuse the recipient? I am using the variable available in the Help Site and from the event trigger info: {{ event.extra.line_items.0.product.images.0.src }}

Looping mail service flow

We aim to establish a customer email service that enables subscribers to receive recurring emails every two or three months. These emails will serve as maintenance reminders to recharge the batteries of the rechargeable products the customer have purchased from us. So far, I have been unsuccessful in finding a solution that automates the looping of this one email.

Adding a Dynamic code to a CTA Button in a Flow.

We are building a flow - “ email sales campaign”  we want to offer a discount for 4 of our products.  -  We have created a dynamic coupon code with a variable expiration date.   We can paste this into the email so the prospect can manually enter it at checkout.   BUT can we add the discount code to a CTA button so that when the prospect clicks the button, they are taken to the shop so they can select one of the four items that the discount applies to, and when they proceed to checkout, the discount is applied?    Or is this a bridge too far.

How to force a segment to update using API?

Hello.I have a following setup in my Klaviyo account:There is a list of profiles and a segment based on that list with some filters. A script runs once every few days and add some profiles to the list and then schedules a campaign based on the segment. The campaign is set to determine recipients at the schedule time.When a script runs for two consecutive days, it sometimes happens that some users added on day 1 receive also campaign on day 2, although the definition of the segment should filter them out.Looking at the docs on segment updating (https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005233488) I guess it’s possible that the segment was not updated in time. So here are my questions:Am I right to assume that the segment is not updated automatically on the capaign schedule time? Can it cause some “out of date” users to receive second email? Is there a way in the API to force the segment to update? If I set the campaign to determine recipients on the sent time, will it force the segm

Best Practices for Staying Organized

Hi there! We just finished our warming process and are ready to switch over our email campaign sending to Klaviyo, but we’re having some issues keeping everything organized. In our previous email client we could put campaigns into folders to keep them neat. I know that Klaviyo has the ability to tag and filter, but it seems like that’s not the best way. Maybe we just aren’t used to it, but wanted to see if anyone has any tips on this and how to keep your images/assets organized as well.
