At the moment I’ve got a dynamic welcome coupon set up ‘welcome15’ that is set to have an expiration of 7 days. I am using this same code in our abandoned cart flow as well but only for customers who have never purchased. I’ve noticed those emails are getting a great open/click through rate but no purchases. My questions are: If someone is currently in the Welcome Flow, are they getting the same exact coupon in the abandoned cart flow if they abandon their cart? If someone was previously in the welcome flow, never purchased, and then a few weeks later they are in the abandoned cart flow, does the abandoned cart flow know to create a new discount code for them and not use the previous expired one?Basically, I’m concerned customers are getting expired codes possibly? Do I have this setup in the best way I can for success with our welcome offer?
Hey Everyone! Hoping to get some answers and/or guidance in setting up the Browse Abandonment Flow. The brand is in the golf industry and would like to set up abandonment based on specific products within specific Collections. When I try setting up the flow, adding a trigger filter only allows me to select '’$Value'’ for Dimension. However, Value is not the criteria I am looking to setup under. It would be something along the lines of Specific products or collections. For example; We have golf Irons - I would want specific browse abandonment for Golf Irons. Is there a set up in the Browse Abandonment flows that can achieve what I have discussed? If anyone has similar stories regarding their set up & are open to sharing , that would be helpful🙂
Hey klaviyo team, cant see the feature request channel anymore, so im writing this here, its not so much a feature as it is a limitation, which we really really really would like to see changed. we recently found out that conditions regarding dates/time can only go back 1826 days, that is 5 years +1 day(yes, its strange with the +1 day), this means that if we for example want to create age related segments for a birthday reminder, we can only do, is 1 year(birthday in the last 365 days) 2 years (birthday is between 366 - 730 days ago), 3, 4 and 5 years, but then the limitation kicks in. We find this pretty strange, and it would be something that you could change REALLY fast, since im sure its basically a number limitation set in the code, our clients would like to be able to segment up to more than 5 years of age
Hi great people, I have added custom properties to my flow (if a customer mentions that (s)he is interested in product A vs B welcome flow’s 2nd email is triggered accordingly). Now the customer has option to choose multiple options to choose at the same time, but I want to trigger emails for only product A. While doing so, if the customer chooses only product A in the interest fields, my flow works fine but when the customer chooses A&B, flow doesn’t trigger. I have tried multiple options like “contains”, “is in”, “starts with” but nothing seems to work :(Any solutions for this? TIA
Hello!I connected the Klaviyo app to my Shopify account on the same day that my Shopify trial period began. Over the course of the past 14 days, I’ve been creating Flows and Campaigns in Klaviyo. Unfortunately, each time that I attempted to add a product block to my emails, none of my products could be found from my catalogue. I thought it might be due to the fact that I was on a Shopify trial; however, I’ve just started my paid plan with Shopify and the problem has persisted. Please advise.
I am trying to setup a flow for ‘Payment Failed’ using multiple payment methods. I couldn’t find the right elements for the same for my site. Can someone help me out here. I have already integrated BigCommerce with my Account. Here are my payment options on my website, Please check the image below.
Hey klaviyo team.As part of my welcome series (5 emails) I’m offering a static discount code for new customer who subscribe to my email list. I don’t want customers who use the code to counties and receive other email on that series.Do I need to add the filter: placed order, where discount codes contains, zero times on the trigger setup alone or for each and every email in that series?
An example of someone that qualifies for my flowPart of my flowI have a bunch of people that qualify to enter this specific abandoned cart flow, however, seeing on my shopify store that I have new abandoned carts, it does not show that any abandoned cart emails are sending. Am I missing something, or do they have to subscribe to the email list, in order to send one, or can anybody receive the abandoned cart email. I checked my email subscription list, but nothing has been sent yet. The browse abandonment works, but not the abandoned cart one. Does anyone have a solution?
Samcart for Abandoned Cart flow? how to build dynamic checkout link or the dynamic block without metrics?
Hi guys, I’m having a challenge-launch via Samcart where people can order the app i’m making.I’m trying to configure the automated email sequences based on this purpose. as far as i’ve seen i can only link samcart few actions which can be integrated with klaviyo to only lists specified by me and adding people in those list. But I suppose i cannot use the abandoned cart pre-made template then as there will be no metrics like check out started and products / checkout links to automatically go back to samcart abandoned checkout page. Can anyone please help me out with this if i can be able to build abandoned cart flow with samcart and all the dynamic metrics just like the metrics integrates with Shopify Store for example viewed product, checkout started, placed order? or what link will then i be using as my CTA button to get the readers go back to their abandoned cart page??For other welcome sequence, placed order - I can just use direct list triggers to start a flow as i will not need dyn
We’ve imported a list of subs and built a flow to nurture / educate on a new service. The Flow Filter is: “is in” the relevant list. In the Manage Flow drop-down, I went to “Back-populate flow recipients” and selected the 2nd option: “Schedule for each step relative to when I click the back-populate button”. I’ve deployed the flow. I expected that Email #1 would go immediately *to the entire list*. That doesn’t seem to be the case.
Hi,I want to exclude people joining our welcome flow after placing an order. I already excluded recently placed orders, ordered products, fulfilled order. Issue is that klaviyo does sometimes not detect a placed order at times and only detects it a day after when the order is fulfilled. Can i exclude the flow to not send to people who accepted at checkout? Welcome flow excludes placed order:Screenshot example of a recent case where placed order is excluded: Any ideas why its happening? Even though placed order is set to zero before triggering the flow. Thanks!
I have a question regarding a conditional split in a flow.what someone has done (or not done) = person has viewed product = where brand = equals?I would like to equal several brands in this split in stead of just one.Is it possible do that by making a comma between each brand or?
We have already successfully set up a Winback Flow for our current customers. But we also want to reach our past customers, who ordered weeks, months or even years ago. We want to contact them one last time, to hopefully win them back as active customers or eventually sort them out.For that purpose, I created a segment for all customers who have placed one order over all time but never returned to our shop. This segment contains approx. 50.000 contacts. But only 6.000 out of those 50.000 are officially subscribed to our newsletter. My question is, are we allowed (according to German law)to contact all 50.000 of those customers or should we keep it to the 6.000, who are officially opted in?
Hi!I’m doing my welcome series flow and following the suggestions that the first email should be based around gathering information about our users email preferences and what they want to hear about.I don’t exactly know the next steps in doing this. I have a popup ready on the website that will add them to the list and activate the flow. Is it a matter of creating different tags? For example I’m trying to have options for Sales, blog posts, all emails, new releases as some of the sign up options. Under the different tags and properties I don’t know how to add these in a way I can use this data to send targeted emails and give subscribers what they want.Any directions or help is greatly appreciated! Sorry if this has been asked I couldn’t find an answer.
One of our service is for the office worker. So most of campaigns sent to them have opened in desktop browser and the campaign advance reports showed that the email client such as IE, Safari, Outlook, Chrome were dominant. But I couldn’t find the Microsoft Edge at there. I think some desktop users using window 11 use Microsoft Edge. Which email client in advanced report includes Microsoft Edge? Does IE include it?
I want to create an “email trigger” (a la Ian Stanley’s teaching) where an email is INSTANTLY triggered when a user clicks a link (either in an email or on the site). This way we can say “Check your email NOW” for the response. ActiveCampaign has this feature.
Hi all! We’re planning on doing a timed campaign where customers receive exclusive access at the same time via email that includes a password. What is the best practice to ensure everyone has a fair chance? How long would it typically take for 500+ emails to receive it? Should we send a few minutes before the launch, if so, how many minutes? Thank you.
