SMS + Email Welcome Series Best Practices

Hi community! I looked but couldn’t find a best practice guide showing how to combine SMS & Email for the initial message of a Welcome Series campaign.For example, should there be a flow for SMS and a flow for Email, or should the SMS message be added to the existing Welcome email flow? If they are separate flows, will the customer receive the same unique one-time use coupon code in both delivery methods?Thanks in advance!-Bill

Why can't I crop images?

I can't really show screenshot right now but I will explain to my best ability. I am uploading some email templates on Klaviyo (mostly image-based) which means I have to be cropping and cropping so I can link sections that have to be linked and it has been going smoothly as I have already uploaded about 17 emails already. Now suddenly, when I click on "crop" in the image editor on Klaviyo, it doesn't bring the height and width number adjuster (this is what allows me to select the height of my new cropping) It just gives me certain frames to choose from like 1:1, 16:9, 10:8 I can't adjust the way I want. What kind of bug is this? This has happened before but I just found my way to edit outside of Klaviyo but I can't do that now. Can you fix this?

Why am i seeing RSS feeds display issue in Outlook?

All images that are created using the loop are not displayed in Outlook. How can this problem be solved?P.S. this images look pretty well in GMAIL and other platforms. Issue only with Outlook.

Selecting multiple buttons

I’ve added multiple buttons to an email where each button correlates to a different product. I am asking recipients to select products they like the most. This information is then collected and added to their profile in the custom properties section which will then be used to create lists and segments. However, in an ideal world I would love to be able to have them select more than one button, and add multiple favorite products to their profile so that I can add them to multiple segments and lists. What is the best way to accomplish this as a CTA in a Welcome email?

Update property link not working in the URL field of a link (new editor)

Trying to update a profile property using the update_property_link tag in a URL field. In the old editor, it works fine. Coupons: How to select product variants instead of all variants when setting up a dynamic coupon?

Hi there,I’m hoping to set up a dynamic coupon in Klaviyo that’s linked to my company’s shopify page. I went to select which products the coupon would apply to, but it does not look like I’m able to select products at the variant level. (For instance, we have 1lb, 5lb and 20lb bags. I only want to offer the coupon on the 5lb bag variant across several different product types).  Is making a selection at this level possible? I’d love to be able to use the seamlessness of the dynamic coupon option to have this live within a flow.

Am I able to edit my custom html template, after adding a Klaviyo drag and drop section?

I have uploaded an HTML template into Klaviyo, and added Klaviyo drag and drop support to a specific section. I am using that template in an abandoned checkout flow. The drag and drop editable section works great, but now when I go to edit the content of that particular email, it defaults to the drag and drop editor, and I can’t seem to figure out how to edit the rest of my email using HTML.Is there a way to edit my HTML after I have added drag and drop support (other than modifying the original template?)Edit: Just to be clear, because I can’t edit the title, I actually want to edit the html of the email I’m using in a flow (that is based off of a custom template). Not the original  custom template itself.

Turn off tracker wrapping

Is it possible to completely turn off wrapping link included in Klaviyo emails? We want to use Klaviyo as emailing service for an application and it is messing with universal links being resolved on devices.I think I have tried to look everywhere and tried everything but I guess I have to be missing something.

I am new to klaviyo and I have a question please.We are using magento 2 integration.In our previous email marketing platform we had the ability when someone entered the browse product flow to loop in items which are sent in the email ( up to 3 products)For example:a client walk in our site and see 3 different product pages.All these three products then were inserted in the browse abandon emails.Now here I see the option only to collect 1 product to sent in the mail.Is it possible to get more products from client’s path and insert them in the emails as a loop?Thanks

How can I use a coupon code as a flow filter to find who hasn't used it?

Hi, We’re using WooCommerce and have a Smart Coupons plugin active in which it generates a 10% discount coupon for customers who purchase a certain product. This coupon is automatically applied their order confirmation email, but a lot of customers are missing the coupon. We’d like to create a flow in Klaviyo that does the following:Triggers a ‘reminder’ email 14 days after the product has been purchased Reminds the customer of the discount code Is able to know if the customer has placed an order in the past 13 days using that discount codeThe third section is where I am stuck. I can configure a ‘conditional split’ that can filter through customers who have placed an order for a product in the past 13 days for a specific product…...BUT is Klaviyo able to filter through customers who have purchased using the discount code? Here is what I have set up: This conditional split doesn’t specify if the order placed used the discount code, so could be sent to a customer who has used the discoun

{% manage_preferences_link %} link not working

Hi, I am trying to use the {% manage_preferences_link %} in the footer of my email and style it using the same styling as the other text but it’s not working - when I click on the link it takes me to a 404 Klaviyo page telling me it’s a ‘bad’ link. This is the source of the text block I’m trying to use: <a href="{% manage_preferences_link %}"> Manage Preferences</a> Please can anyone advise me why this is not working as this is the tag that Klaviyo’s help centre provides when wanting to change the colour/font of these types of pages in emails. Thanks in advance!

Why is my Header/Logo/ Smaller than In Other Email Templates?

Hi there! I’m not sure why this started happening, but I began to use the link buttons with the logo centered. It started out great at first, with the logo appearing larger than the links. However, now when I try to do it in an email, my logo is automatically generating in a much smaller size. I’m using the exact same picture and everything, so I’m not sure why this is happening…. please help! thank you!

Custom background colors in table cells

When using the default “table” block in the drag-and-drop editor, I see options to apply background colors to entire tables, or to entire sections in the new editor, but I can’t see any way to change the background color in a single cell to something different than the rest. I’m only seeing alignment, border and padding options on the individual cell styles. Is there something I’m missing, or is this not an option?

Want to add multiple custom fonts, where am going wrong?

Custom Integration for Coupon Codes

It seems there are coupon integrations for (at least) Shopify and Magento, but I can’t find any information either on the new or old APIs on how to do this for a custom integration.Best case would be I’m just failing to find the right docs, and someone can point me at how to do this.If, however, that doesn’t exist, then I may be able to use the “manual upload” of coupon code methods; however, it’s not clear how this works under the covers.We’re already generating codes, which are generally referral codes on a per-customer basis. So, we could easily export these, however, it’s not clear from the upload docs how we would go about assigning them to specific customers.Here’s an example workflow:Customer visits our website and registers for our contest We generate a unique code for that customer:contest, which they can use to earn extra chances to win when they share the contest via social media or email or whatnot We email them with their unique referral code, that they can share, and also

Horizontal rules in mobile

I’m having a strange issue with horizontal rules in email designs. We have a horizontal rule that shows up correctly in desktop, but doesn’t in mobile view. Here is the horizontal rule (dark orange/bronze color) working perfectly in desktop view.These are the specs of the horizontal rule in desktop.So I duplicate this horizontal rule exactly as it is but set it to show on Mobile instead...and this is what happens.It has the exact same specs as its desktop counterpart, but for some reason it stretches across the entire area and nothing changes when I try to tweak the padding. Is anyone else having the same issue? How do you fix it?

Shopify import 'if' tag was never closed ??

Hi , I get the error: Body html Liquid syntax error: 'if' tag was never closedI try to implement this email into my shopify. But appearnly it is missing and endif tag. I could not get figured out where. Tried different open ends, but everytime it showed less of the mail. How can i fix this? Why is my exit intent popup not displaying properly?
