Flow triggers - Issue & Solution (Ideas)

Hi all,I'd like to address an issue we're currently experiencing with one of our accounts and propose a great solution. Unfortunately, the current capabilities of Klaviyo do not support this feature yet, but we hope they will implement it in the future.Issue:At the moment, date triggers in flows are only available for profile properties, such as birthdates, and not for nested date variables in event triggers, such as the event date of a purchased ticket.This limitation prevents sending reminder emails or SMS notifications for products/services scheduled for today, tomorrow, or X days from now.Another drawback of using date triggers based on profile properties is that the most recent product/service purchase replaces the old value. So, if I buy a ticket today and another one tomorrow, my date property will only reflect the most recent purchase. Solution:The date trigger flows already have this fantastic functionality, but it is currently limited to profile properties. Best practice for importing and sending opt-in campaign on sweepstakes list?

We were part of a sweepstakes recently by a reputable company where users were explicitly informed that they are agreeing to marketing emails from specific vendors and now have a list of several thousand emails. I’ve read thru the instructions on how to import the list into klaviyo, and planning on adding a field to the CSV that tags them as signing up thru this sweepstakes. I’m thinking of sending a welcome style email to that segment acknowledging that they opted in thru the sweepstakes and do they want to stay sub’d and include a button to unsub... Does anyone have any input to share?Am I overthinking this?

How do I enable a sign-up form to capture a new user profile from a forwarded email campaign?

Our customers receive our newsletter, and then they forward it on to other users. These users then want to sign up for the newsletter. We need to create a link in our campaign template to direct them to a sign up form – preferably managed within Klaviyo – that then adds them to the list / segment within the list.Any help?

Abandoned Cart Flow Filter Confusion

Hello!Thanks in advance for your help.I’m a little confused for a cart abandonment email flow. I want a customer to enter the email flow if the following conditions are met:They’ve NEVER bought from my store before They haven’t been in the flow for at least 120 days (ex: they abandoned cart in the past and received abandoned cart email, but still didn’t order and return 1 year later)Initially, I had set the trigger has “When someone Checkout Started.” with flow filters: “Ordered product zero times over all time” and “has not been in flow in the last 120 days”I figured that “Ordered product zero times over all time” would be they have never bought from my store before AND they did not end up purchasing since the flow started. However, a new customer bought from our store and 15 minutes later (time delay set on abandoned email flow) still got the abandoned email. Does this mean that I need 3x filters? “Ordered product zero times over all time”, “has not been in flow in the last 120 days”

How do I pull customer details into an email in Klaviyo?

Hi. I have previously organised a preorder and about to start fulfilment for the items. As it has been a couple of months, I want to send an email through Klaviyo confirming their details ie. phone number and address. Is there a way to pull this information from Shopify into each email. Has anyone done this before? Thank you.

Preventing an email in flow from sending if user already took action

Hello all,I currently have three emails in my welcome series. The first one welcomes the user and gives them a dynamic coupon code. The second is an email about the company, and the third is a reminder about their code expiring in x days.How do I prevent the third email from going out if the user used the coupon code before the third (last) email goes out?Is there a way to do this?Thank you, -Chris

Display collapse on test mail using dynamic product feed

I am building flow mail using dynamic product feed.  My gmail shows no problem, but a person using LINE Works mail displays with collapse.  I changed block padding Left / Right in many different ways, but didn’t fix.  Please tell me how to fix this.

Is there a Workaround for using Deep links for push notifications?

Hi!We implemented push notifications in our iOS app and would like to enable deep linking. I understand that Klaviyo does not currently support deep linking for push notifications, but wonder if deep links can be achieved through workaround, homegrown ways? If you can please share insights on how to set up deep linking for Klaviyo push notifications, that would be so appreciated. Thank you!Rachel

Price Drop Flow based on Single Variant Pricing?

Been having trouble w/ our price drop flow - discovered price drops are only triggered when each variant is set to the same price. Since we offer different sizes/specs within our variants they’re not the same prices - wondering if there’s any way to trigger a price drop w/ this caveat? Is there any custom metric that can be created within Magento2/Shopify that would mimic the flow?

Directing customer to return to abandoned cart WITH Shopify discount

Hello! I am working with a Shopify website and have created a discount code through Shopify which I would like to add to my Klaviyo abandoned cart flow. Currently, our flow has the: {{ event.extra.checkout_url}} attached to a “return to cart” button...is it possible to add my Shopify discount code to this as well? If so, HOW please?!I can only figure out how to connect my shareable Shopify link to the button but then it doesn’t send our customers back to their saved shopping cart as far as I can tell.Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Photos aren't appearing in cart abandonment emails

Product photos are not being shown in my cart abandonment flow.I tried to add photos of different shapes an sizes to my shopify store, and I even have the products listed on klaviyo, and yet I can never see the actual photo on email. I tried to go to products and see if I could do something there, but with the new feed i cant seem to click on anything at all.  Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?Thanks for reading this!

Feature Request: Export Visual Link Activity with Email Image

My creative team gets a ton of value from the visual link activity that we review on a monthly basis, but it’s a huge time suck for me to individually open up each campaign, go to link activity, visual, screen grab the whole page, crop, and share. I’d love for a way to export with the email visuals, even if it’s a flattened version for speed.

Using conditional splits within flows Vs using if/else within emails

When it comes to personalising an email in terms of a custom profile property, like a customer pain point, would you just use a conditional split within a flow and send separate emails? Or would you send one email where you use an if/else conditional to show them relevant content based on the pain point?

Can Klaviyo share a product with an email share button, like a 'wishlist' send icon?

Hi everyone! Is there a way in Klaviyo to for a customer to send a favorite product via email to a loved one - like a wish list style share button? Tiffany & Co has a “drop a hint” email feature on their product pages that allows a a consumer to share a product via email that they’d like to receive as a gift. It’s brilliant. Maybe I need to play around with the embed options…. Just trying to wrap my head around this! It’s seriously brilliant.

Submission Form Not Displaying on Elementor Pro Popup

I’m using the Klaviyo Wordpress plugin to connect our website to our Klaviyo account. We have a Klaviyo sign up form embedded in the footer via Elementor Pro which works fine. I’m now trying to design a newsletter popup form with Elementor Pro popups however the form isn’t displaying inside the popup. I can see the element inside the DOM but if I give it height using CSS, nothing more appears, just empty space. I’m using Firefox on MacOS. Please help! How the preview looks ^How it looks when published ^The DOM ^

Klaviyo x Shopware 6

Hello EveryoneI’m currently using Shopware 6 for our E-Commerce Stores: https://www.mgpscooter.ch/ and https://www.scoot-and-ride.ch/. Does anyone has experience with this shop system and know how i can set up the abandonned cart flow? Best Practice for Multiple Post Purchase Flows For Specific Products

Hi All!I’m still getting my feet wet with Klaviyo and email marketing in general and I was wondering what the best practice would be for a business who needed to send custom post purchase flows for each of their products. Each of these products would have a little education on how they work and how to use them, and my concern is if somebody buys multiple products at check out. Would it be likely be too much if a customer buys three different products and is now receiving three post purchase flows on each of those individual products that all go over how to use them and later ask if they’d had success with it etc? Is there a way to condense this information in a way that makes it more digestible for the customer without them feeling like they are getting blasted with emails?  Thanks for any input you can give!

Browse Abandonment Html Code Help

I am creating a browse abandonment flow and I noticed that the wording for Gift cards and our bonus items, such as ten cent stickers, doesn’t read well when telling the person they should hurry before the stock is low. I could reword it, but I want to learn so in the future I can apply this knowledge.  I had this text written{{ first_name|title|default:'Hey' }}, we noticed you were checking out this item--it's going fast, so grab it while we still have stock.} Is there code I can apply so it says something different if they're looking at a gift card vs a physical item? I tried {{ first_name|title|default:'Hey' }}, we noticed you were checking out this {{ event.Name }}{% if event.Name == 'Gift Card' %}--it's the perfect gift for any occasion{% else %}--it's going fast, so grab it while we still have stock{% endif %}.  This did not work. It only showed (Name), we noticed you were checking out this --it's going fast, so grab it while we still have stock. Even with gift cards.

Shopify and Klaviyo will customers get two emails?

Hi everyone,New to Klaviyo and setting up my emails etc. I can see that I am able to set up that Klaviyo will send a post purchase email/order confirmation etc. However, I have these set up in Shopify, so will customers get two lots of emails or do the two sync so this doesn’t occur? Or do I need to somehow change settings in Shopify to stop this?Cheers

Problems as new user, skipped emails and cant delete suppressed emails

Hi!I have so far for this account hired 2 people in marketing claiming to be experts on Klaviyo marketing. The first sent out a campaign sucessfuly to about 200 profiles. I later hire a new person who sent out to now over 500 profiles. To check to see how it went it says all 514 emails were skipped. The marketing person wants to get paid. i dont want to pay untill emails are sent out. Since most of the 500 are new emails., it cant be the smart sending time limit since most profiles have never been sent out to before. most are first time recipients. Secondly i notice there are 20 suppressed emails it say out of 1500 profiles. I then choose delete all supressed profiles. It returns error on deleting. Then I go into each and every list i have and ask to see suppressed profiles. When I go one by one and do this in all lists, each list returns there are no supressed profiles. But still the dashboard inssits there are 20 suppressed. I can find any in the lists. I dont use the Klaviyo since t

Replenishment flow for different products

Hi everyone. Question: How can I create replenishment flows that’ll be triggered after 1 month, 2 months, and so on, depending on the type of product and quantity that the customer bought? Note that I have different types of products with different price ranges and each type of product will need replenishment 1 or 2 months after the purchase (depending on what product).  Thanks in advance!
