Why is the Klaviyo API bringing in different metric data than a custom report export?

I have a custom report that export my all time campaign metric data. I get this through the Klaviyo custom report UI. However, I want to be able to fully automate that export through the API and python SDK. I have been able to export the campaigns through the python SDK using the get_campaigns function, and I have been able to export unique opens and total received emails using the instructions from how to export conversion data. However, my unique opens is slightly different and I can’t seem to get it to match the custom report perfectly. Is there any reason for this? My parameters for the metric_export are, metric_id, count=100, unit=”week” start_date and end_date set, measurement = unique (count for received email metric), and by=”Campaign Name” or “$variation.”  Anything I should try? Thanks for any help.

Why are my abandon checkout and abandon cart emails going to SPAM?

Hey,I’ve been working with a new client for the past 1 months. They were sending Welcome & Abandon Emails prior to my onboarding for 1-2 months. No campaigns were being sent. We began sending weekly campaigns to engaged customers for the past month and are getting 30-40%+ open rates.But we’re not hitting the same for our abandon checkout and abandon cart flow.I’ve noticed the abandon cart and abandon checkout email for my client are going to spam.  and don’t know why.Can anyone provide any advice? Really at a loss with how we can turn this around for the client right now as we cannot capture revenue from these flows.

Hi, this is the reverse scenario of most of the posts I’m finding on here: Instead of removing a user from MY Klaviyo account, I want to remove MYSELF as a user on clients’ accounts after our engagements are completed. Is there a way to do this myself, instead of asking them to delete me from their accounts?

Still NO textarea input field?

Hi thereIt's amazing: Klaviyo has many good features, but it doesn't have a textarea input field. Imagine you have to enter more than two words in a form field, the description of a problem, for example. You'll go crazy if it's all on one line. How can I create Pop Up forms at scale?

As you will most likely know serving a relevant pop up to each customer is key to increasing sign up rate. For example if you run a bike shop then the pop up on the specialized road bike pages should have a creative with a road bike image and perhaps text such as ‘Road Bikes good enough for the Tour De France’ whilst if on a mountain bike page the pop up would have a different image and text such as ‘ Serious bikes for Serious Terrain’, etc. It is partcularly important on stores where is a split ie there is little overlap where road bikers are also keen mountain bikers and vice versa. The same goes for yachts and power boats, Himalayan adventurers and festival goers both landing on a tent product should likewise receive a different pop up.Howver if you have perphaps 150 brands across different product groups the creation of custom pop ups can be quite a task to undertake. Added to this you should ideally have a welcome flow to reflect the pop up used and first email would for example w

WooCommerce item price with tax

Hi,I have dynamic blocks in a flow email for transactional emails. However the product price only shows  without tax, I want it to show with Tax. How can i change this? I cannot see this in the array. Total: {% currency_format item.LineTotal|floatformat:2 %} only on the bottom, it shows as a total for all items.

Informing Customer Preorder Item Has Arrived

How do I create an automation whereby it will inform customers who ordered a “preorder” item that is has already arrived “instock” tag. Our customer order a mixture of instock and preorder tag items sometimes. Therefore, I am looking to create a trigger to inform customer of those specific items arrival when we update it from preorder to instock tag.

Sending Profiles to another account via API

I am a software engineer that represents a company which, in short, collects emails on behalf of a business. That business wants the collected emails sent to their own Klaviyo account (via api, on demand as we receive them). Any documentation or message board threads only speak to sending to your own Klaviyo account. So I have a couple of questions…Is there a way to send emails to a Klaviyo account that you do not own via API? If so, is there documentation available? What is a Klaviyo Partner? Is this the direction I should be heading? Is this an app I would develop that any brand could install, which would then give me access to their account to send the emails to? Followup to 3… how would we become a Klaviyo Partner?

Abandoned Carts Email -- How to prevent sending the email if the Cart is deleted?

I am transitioning from the Shopify integration to the APIs and I will be synching my Carts in the Checkout Started events. When creating flows to send Abandoned Cart emails, I add a link to the cart so the user can complete their purchase. In the backend, I delete carts after a certain amount time to clean up the database.Is there a way for me to stop sending emails that point to deleted carts?Seems like there is no record of shopping carts in Klaviyo.Thanks!

Is there a way to switch between Klaviyo accounts using a specific URL?

Hi. I have multiple client accounts I administer. And using the Klaviyo admin interface it’s easy to switch between them.BUT… my workflow is within ClickUp, where I manage the campaign calendar for each client.(BTW answering this question doesn’t require knowing anything about ClickUp).For this workflow to stay within the confines of ClickUp, and avoid flipping between applications, I am needing to embed the Klaviyo campaigns page for the client I am currently working with.Embedding the page itself works fine in ClickUp — no problem.EXCEPT… the Klaviyo admin interface “remembers” what client account is currently selected.This means, when I switch to a different client in ClickUp, the last client account I worked with is shown in the embedded campaign page view.This’ll lead to some disaster before too long. And doesn’t help with the flipping between apps thing I’m trying to avoid because I still have to flip over in Klaviyo to the account that I’m wanting to set up campaigns for.What I’

Issues? Email did not send and template issues.

Are there issues going on right now?When I was choosing a template it would be missing the unsubscribe and address area once I selected it and started making changes.I finally found one that kept that part of the template and did my email and sent it out, but there were crickets. Only one person opened it up. I usually have 75% open rate so I was wondering what was going on. I have a friend on my list and asked her about it and she said she had not received the email. I resent it to her alone and still she did not receive it. Anyone know what’s going on?Thanks,Ashley

What are the rules for triggering "Active on Site" event ?

Hello. I need to confirm how “Active on Site” is actually supposed to work. I can see that these events are coming and are registered in Klaviyo both for me and users of the site. The issue is that “Active on Site” seems to be registering once, and then when I refresh the site, browse through it and so and so on no more events are popping up on Klaviyo. Are there some rules that limit how often the events are registered for a given user ? For example at most 1 “Active on Site” event per hour or something like that ? Or is something wrong with my integration ?

Conditionals Logic Question

Hello Klaviyo CommunityI had a quick question regarding Conditionals in a flow. In the attached Welcome Flow (default Klaviyo template for when someone has signed up for our newsletter), we check if they have purchased in the past.If they have not purchased, we want to enter them into an email series (more than 1 email). Question 1: Assume they purchase after Email 1 in the have not purchased email series, do they exit the flow altogether or will they go back into the flow and receive the email 1 from the have purchased series? If this is the case, is there a way to exit someone when they do convert from the have not purchased series. Please note the trigger is based on joining the newsletter. Question 2: Assume they still have not purchased after email 1, will they continue to stay in the series and receive subsequent emails until they convert?Appreciate any input you’re able to provide. Thanks all!

Does the Conditional Split 'Contains' condition look at each option individually?

I have a re-engagement flow which is sending comms out to customers that have contacted us about a quote. In this quote we provide a discount, if the quote includes specific brands then they cannot be sent the discount.I have setup a conditional Split in the flow and used the ‘contains’ condition to list all the brands that are excluded, this should exclude anyone that has one of these brands against their record: When I look at the customers that ‘pass’ the split, some of them have brands lists in the quote, i.e its not excluding them. Does the ‘contain’ condition require that the quote contain ALL the brands listed for it to work, or will it exclude someone that contains at least 1? Ideally it needs to exclude them if they have 1 or more brands listed. Thanks!

Custom code consent page with custom property

Hello,I am currently working on creating a custom consent page. As I own a dog supplement brand, I am saving the name of the dog in my Klaviyo profiles as well.In my custom consent page I want to give my subscribers the possibility to see and change the name of their dog. It’s no problem to show the dog’s name in the consent page, but to save it.
