Hi,I installed the added to cart event to our shopify store about 2 months ago, and it’s seems like everything is properly setup as its shown in the image below. However there wasn’t any event recorded despite people adding items to thier cart. Is there anything else i need to instal?
We started using the Easy Bundle Shopify App in Shopify to create our bundles. This App automatically creates different discount codes for different bundles e.g. we have a 4, 8 and 12 week bundle and customers can customize the flavours they want in this bundle. Depending on which bundle the customers chose, the discount code is applied e.g. lower discount for the 4 week bundle and higher discount for the 12 week bundle. Now we want to identify the buyers of the 4, 8 and 12 week bundle in Klaviyo and the only way I have in mind is by using the unique discount codes generated. We can’t use the products because the same products are used in the 4,8 and 12 week package. Klaviyo has the function to segment by discount code. The problem is, that Klaviyo doesn’t find the discount code generated by the easy bundle shopify app. So when I try to segment those customers by: Placer order at least once over all time where discount code contains It doesn’t find the discount code. Even though w
Hi Klaviyo Community, I'm busy building a post-purchase flow that has one conditional split to differentiate between new and repeat customers (see image 1) and a 2nd conditional split for returning customers, depending on which collection they have just purchased from Tents or Accessories (see image 2 - as this will determine what incentive is offered in the email). Does the conditional split in image 2 look correct or is there a better way to do it? Thanks,Rox
Hi there, I’m trying to set up my browse abandonment sequence. However when I’m setting up the trigger split, the only item on the dropdown dimension is $value. How do I filter it to products containing certain words in its product name if the dimension is not showing it?
Hey guys, It looks like the new Campaign API does return sent_at and subject fields. These are important properties that our app uses.- Is there any way to fetch these fields with the new APIs? - If not, what are some alternative properties that we can use instead of these fields?Thank you.FYI:New docs: https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/get_campaignv1/v2 docs: https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/v1-2/reference/get-campaigns
We have an integration that uses the older API’s. For example I just make a cURL request tohttps://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/lists?api_key=xyzWill I still be able to do this by passing the api_key with v3 endpoints or do I need to authenticate first with oauth now? And if so can I just convert to the lack of a v# like the docs say is not used anymore? For example: https://a.klaviyo.com/api/lists?api_key=xyz ? is that all that is needed?
Need help!I have 2083 active subscribersMy email go out only to 1099 subscribers, even though I choose all of the segments available in my klaviyo. More than 1000 customers are getting my emails. What to do?It is extremely important to solve this. Thank you so much in advance!
I made a sign up form and it looks like it’s collecting emails but not triggering the welcome email series. My Welcome Series emails should be triggered by someone signing up for my newsletters, but the emails aren’t sending! The only one delivered was from a past newsletter series but I changed my newsletter and now they’re not sending. Please help! Thanks.
Hi Klaviyo Community, I have a friend who has a ecommerce store on Square Space. She really wants to use Klaviyo. Before she makes the move, is it a smart idea? She currently uses Flodesk but it’s so limited in what it can do. I know I can connect the two via Zapier but I’m more concerned about the flow filters and the data that the two share - like on Shopify, I can add extensive flow filters but I don’t think this is possible with Square Space and Klaviyo? Looking forward to getting some guidance from you clever souls in this community! 😀
I have a Klaviyo pop-up form on my website that offers a discount code for first time shoppers. The submit rate is really good but I’m noticing that many people aren’t using the code once they receive it. My question is:How do I automate a follow up email that only targets the people that have received the discount code but haven’t used it?I’m kind of new to Klaviyo so the more detailed you can be on how to do this the better lol. Thanks for the help!
Hi, I have a pop up where I’ve been monitoring my sign up rate. Ive added a second step that asks for their birthday. I can see my sign up rate however what I want to know is is there a way that I can see what the percentage of people who signed up also gave their birthday? i.e is there a way to see sign up rate for people who gave their email on step one, and then a separate sign up rate for people who gave their bday on step 2? Furthermore, when I see the submitted form rate, does this just show the number of people who have given their email (non optional), or does it show people who have submitted both steps (bday is optional there is a button that says I dont want to) Thanks otis
Hi there, the campaign date-range filter is a constant frustration sorry.PROBLEMS1. Firstly, it seems to default to the last date used, which requires pointing and clicking just to see latest campaigns.e.g. Say you sent a campaign on the 24th but a colleague sends a campaign on the 26th. When you log-in, the campaign list doesn’t show their campaign because it’s defaulted to the 24th. This requires pointing and clicking just to see the last campaign.2. Secondly, it’s painful searching for past campaigns like last year’s Mothers Day or Black Friday because you have to click back through a year to create the date range (plus you have to know the date of the campaign). The whole point of searching is to bypass endless clicking and quickly find what you need - right?REQUEST: A one-click toggle to add/remove the date picker to/from the campaign filter. That way we could exclude a date range and search for a campaign without endless pointing and clicking.Hope that makes sense.Cheers, Ben
Hi, a new client of mine has a small email list (1300). She has no engagement data. We are not setting up dedicated sending server. Based on all that, Is it ok to not worry about warming the infrastructure and start by sending to the whole list? (out of the 1300 subscribers, 128 of them are purchasers over *all time*)Thanks so much!
Hi I can’t seem to find an answer to this, so reaching out for some help. I have created a segment which people are added to once they have spent $500. They then enter a flow and receive an email with a coupon. What I can’t work out is how to automatically remove them from the segment once the email has sent so that they will go back in when they have spent a further $500, to receive another coupon. Appreciate any advice, thank you
Hi Klaviyo community,I have a spreadsheet of a thousand leads that I want to invite to subscribe to my newsletters. Can I embed a button on a broadcast email that will quickly subscribe them to my emails and add them to a segment/list of my choice? If yes, how do you do it?I’m doing this because my website is not ready yet and there is no sign up form that I can use.Thank you so much for your answers! 🙏🏾
Hi all! We’re looking to create a flow that notifies potential buyers/guests that a cabin/product they were looking at has recently dropped in price. For reference, we use a WordPress website that is integrated with Guesty. We lower the price of our product 1 week before the date of arrival, so in theory, this can be triggered by the date or by the price drop. We already have a custom property of “Date” that notes the date the guest/buyer was looking to stay at our cabin/”product.” My first thought was to create an abandoned cart flow with an additional trigger of “properties of someone” > “date” “is between” “0 - 7 days” but I noticed it adds “ago” to the phrasing, making it “date is between 0 - 7 days ago,” but I’m wanting it to be in the future, meaning they would place the order before the date. Any ideas about how to set this flow up?
Hi, we’re a bookstore with a large student population. The graduating class will be losing access to their school emails in a couple of weeks, so we’d like to send an email to them asking to update the emails on their profiles to get 10% off. Is there a best way to do this? Thanks in advance!
Hi Klaviyo Wizards! I’m attempting to set up a Dedicated Sending Domain, but having issues with the final DNS record as it conflicts with another record e.g. “www” I can’t delete this record since it’s important - it serves as a redirect from a previous/old Shopify store. How can I solve? Is there a workaround? HELP!Additional context: the domain is registered via Godaddy
Hi all,I have created an abandoned cart flow with different structured emails depending on the product. The trigger for the flow is ‘Checkout Started’. Should I add a conditional split ‘Has placed order at least once since starting the flow’ where ‘yes’ exits the flow and ‘no’ leads to the next email or will Klaviyo automatically stop the flow if a customer does indeed place an order? Thank you in advance!
Hello,I’m curently making a VIP flow for an e-com brand and I’m looking for the best way to achieve this. The VIP program is tier based on number of purchase and LTV.Here is the 2 methods I'm hesitating on :Segments based trigger => so basicaly one flow for each VIP tier (3 VIP flows in total) Gold: Placed Order is at least 9 over all time Total Customer Lifetime Value is greater than 400 Silver Placed Order is at least 6 over all time Total Customer Lifetime Value is greater than 250 Total Customer Lifetime Value is less than 400 Bronze Placed Order is at least 3 over all time Total Customer Lifetime Value is greater than 150 Total Customer Lifetime Value is less than 250 Event based trigger (placed order) => only one flow What is the best way to achieve this ?
