Enabling store staff to communicate with local customers

Hi I was wondering if anyone has managed to enable their colleagues in store to communicate with local customers, either in a 1-to-many way (advertising special offer / events for example) or in a 1-2-1 way (private shopping follow-up for VIPs)?Either using Klaviyo directly or integrating another platform/app to Klaviyo to manage data capture and management (permissions) in one place. ThanksLeo

How is Khy able to not include their address in the bottom of their marketing emails?

 Hi I got a question. I’ve been following the Khy brand ever since they launched, and I noticed that all their emails have a footer like shown in the screenshot. There are no business physical address…  It states in the Can-Spam Act that the business address is required: https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business#:~:text=Tell%20recipients%20where%20you%E2%80%99re%20located. Curious how are they able to get away with it, let alone for such a big brand that has so many eyes on them? I ask it here because Khy is using Klaviyo for email marketing.  What are the repercussions of this and do they get any deliverability hit?

Placed Order Activity Feed Not Showing Product Collections Assigned on Shopify - Integration with Shopify

Basically what i am trying to implement: Segmenting customers based on whether they have purchased the any product in category X and presenting separate offers to buyers and non-buyers.  In short: I am trying to build Cross-Sell Flow.  But there is a problem: I cannot see all my smart collections in the flow filters However, i have many collections. And Klaviyo actually can see all of them too.  The second problem (and probably linked to the first problem) is: When i place an order online to see how my products are recorded on Klaviyo, i have this result: See that there is NO COLLECTIONS. However, on shopify actually Smart Collections are assigned for that specific product. Note: Before purchasing the product, I have waited for 15 minutes and syniced all the products and collections on Klaviyo. I think that’s why placed order metric cannot be filtered by all of the categories i have.Any solution for this problem? Browse Abandonment Syntax + Discount

Hi there - I’m sure this question has been answered somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I’m looking to automatically apply a discount in my browse abandonment flow while also re-directing subscribers to the item(s) they were viewing using the BA syntax. I’ve done this plenty of times with abandoned checkout using the following syntax: {{ event.extra.checkout_url }}&discount=DISCOUNTNAME and assumed it would work just as easily with the browse abandonment syntax: {{ event.URL }}&discount=DISCOUNTNAME, but it doesn’t seem to be working and sends me to an error page on my site. Could someone help me out or shoot over an article/post that explains what I’m supposed to do?Thanks in advance!

New Feature Request: Product Grid Customization

Would LOVE to be able to define the corner radius of the product images similar to how we can define the corner radius of the coordinating button. Bonus points if one day we can allow it to GIF through the available images of the product 😍

Feature Request: Share links for email templates

Would love to offer students pre-built Klaviyo templates they can add to their account without me having to do it myself. For example as part of a course.  Needs to be fully functional/editable in the Klaviyo email builder (not like the current html versions) Similar to what ManyChat offers.

Wishlist Plus Dynamic content

I want to insert dynamic content from Wishlist Plus into Klaviyo (e.g Products in Wishlist, Link redirecting customers back to their wishlist, specific product that has a sale and is also on customers' wishlist...) If you could send me all the codes for the dynamic content that'll be great.

Feature Request - Allow Klaviyo forms to create events when submitted

Klaviyo forms only allow subscribing submissions to one list. That has a whole range of problems: Subscribed to list trigger only works the first time someone subscribes, so running specific campaigns with perks existing subscribers also need access to, is not possible.  If added to a new and unique list, you will have to manually merge lists if you’re keeping a “main list” for all subscribers.  If you use Klaviyo forms to send gated content, you will have to make unique lists or risk existing subscribers not receiving. You can’t use Klaviyo forms for signing people up to ongoing events, since you would have to build a maze of workarounds to store event data in attributes and trigger emails from segments. And many more like these. Everything could be fixed by simply allowing Klaviyo forms to trigger an event when submitted. Just like every other third-party form tool can or already does. Zapier allow all third-party form tools like Typeform to trigger events when submitted The Facebook

Product images not showing while designing an email

Hi,I have a problem of my product images not showing while designing an email. They also don’t show once email is received, but I don’t see images while selecting the products to add in the email.I didn’t update images recently.For some products I see images, for some not. Also, if I try to add best selling product - the selection is wrong.   This is what they say from Shopify:  I’ve looked into this with our internal team, and everything on our end is functioning as expected. It seems the issue may be related to Klaviyo, as they might not have synced properly with your store.   Anyone knows how to solve this?I’m still starting out so I’m on a free subscription and can’t get to Klaviyo’s support…Thank you!

Why is the Klaviyo API bringing in different metric data than a custom report export?

I have a custom report that export my all time campaign metric data. I get this through the Klaviyo custom report UI. However, I want to be able to fully automate that export through the API and python SDK. I have been able to export the campaigns through the python SDK using the get_campaigns function, and I have been able to export unique opens and total received emails using the instructions from how to export conversion data. However, my unique opens is slightly different and I can’t seem to get it to match the custom report perfectly. Is there any reason for this? My parameters for the metric_export are, metric_id, count=100, unit=”week” start_date and end_date set, measurement = unique (count for received email metric), and by=”Campaign Name” or “$variation.”  Anything I should try? Thanks for any help.

Struggling with the price drop trigger in Shopify

I used the price drop flow template.  First i tried it on an item with 3 variants (each variant is a different size and a different price).  I used shopify’s compare at feature and dropped the price.  The flow didn’t trigger.  Then I read that all variants must be the same price.  So I tried it on a different product that is a single product, no variant.  It’s still not triggering.  Any thoughts? Thankscherie

Create email flow with calendly post purchase based on discount code in Shopify

Hi,  So I and my team want to set up a buy and get campaign where if the customers buys the product they get a free consultation. When using the “discount code” in shopify, I want klaviyo to send out an automation with and email connected with calendly so the customer can book schedule their appropriate time instantly. Anyone know how to set this up?

Why is only Klaviyo requesting we create a sending subdomain in addition to DMARC?

We’re using three different bulk emailers: Klaviyo, Constant Contact, and Mailchimp. To my knowledge, they’re all requesting DMARC, but only Klaviyo is requesting the creation of a unique sending subdomain. Also, if we send well under 5000 emails per day, will our sending be affected? We’re mainly using Klaviyo for abandoned cart flows and rarely sending blasts out to segments. Thank you.

Stripe Product Purchase Filter Trigger

Hi, im trying to create a flow based on specific stripe product purchase however i cant see the option to do so. Only filter by invoice but in successfull payment there is no option to condition by product. Someone can give me any idea? I tried successfully payed and filter by invoice contains “product keyword” but it wont track it..

I am trying to switch from using shopify to shift4, however, my sign up forms and emails are not being triggered. What do I need to do to get it to work? I have already integrated Shift4 with klaviyo.  I have also disabled my shopify integration.

Flows are not sending

I don’t believe any of my flows are sending and I don’t know why.  This one should send to every person that places an order with us but it has only sent 4 times in 365 days.  It should have sent at least 36 times in the last 6 months. Also it seems like in the 4 times it did send it was not correct.  First time buyers should follow the yes flow but everyone seems to be following the no flow no matter what.

Abandoned Cart Flow "Added to Cart" Triggering Incorrectly

I’m experiencing an issue with my Abandoned Cart Flow. Currently, the flow is being triggered both when users simply view a product and when they actually add a product to their cart. This is causing the flow to send emails to users who have not added items to their cart, which is not the intended behaviour. How can I solve this?

Building a Post Purchase Flow - Adding a product as a filter and it's not showing up as an option

Hi  Klaviyo Community! I'm setting up a post-purchase flow on Klaviyo with the trigger set to "When Someone Placed an Order."Under filters, I added "Items contains <product>." as I need it to only trigger when my client’s specific product is purchased.  However, when searching for the product, it doesn't appear in the dropdown. I also noticed that the product in Shopify shows zero stock. How can I add this product to the post-purchase flow?

Assistance required setting up internal alert with event variables

I am in the process of creating a flow to notify our new salesperson when a cart with a value of over $5k abandons. I have been pretty successful getting the trigger to work properly and setting up the notification email. All of this info is coming out of our Magento 2 integration. What I am unable to figure out is how to get the items in the customers abandoned cart to appear in the email so that the salesperson is able to see this info before getting in contact with the client. My email template is as follows:(Salesperson’s name),A customer with the email address {{ email }} has abandoned a cart with a value over $5,000. Any information gathered is listed below:value: {{ event|lookup:"$value" }}items: {{ event.items }}First name: {{ first_name }}Last name: {{ last_name }} event.items returns me all of the info for the item in the cart. It shows me internal id’s, meta data, descriptions, etc. I only want it to return the sku and qty of the items in the cart. How can I narrow these res

Klaviyo flows: List Update (action) and Lists that are set to require Double Opt-In (DOI)

In a flow, will using a “List Update” action to adding existing profiles (with DOI set at true or not) to a new list (that is set/checked to require DOI) require them to double opt-in? Again? Every time? Will it trigger an confirmation email?

Help creating 2 segments for subscription product in WooCommerce shop

Hello! I’ll preface this by saying I’m extremely new to Klaviyo and try as I might to figure this out, it’s over my head. I’m hoping someone here can lend a hand.I have a WooCommerce shop and my Web developer just integrated Klaviyo for me. We sell two different products, which are subscriptions. When a customer purchases/signs up for a new subscription, they will be prompted to check the box to be added to our subscriber email list so that we can provide them shipping and other important updates for their subscription box. But here’s the tricky part. These boxes have different products on different production schedules, and they also each get access to unique codes for other specific products on the site. I need to create a segment (I think?) for each of these two subscription boxes so that I can send specific emails to people who subscribed to Box A and different emails to the people who subscribed to Box B. Is there anyone here who could walk me through the steps of how to set up th
