My team is trying to send out retention based messaging to our customers, reminding them to pay their bill, submit necessary documentation etc. In the event that a user signed up for 2+ plans but used the same email address, is there a way to distinguish these in the email? For example, say individual A bought 2 plans, 1 for themselves and 1 for their child, using the same email. When the plan for their child is about to expire, but not thier own, how can we send a reminder to renew that specific plan?
Hello! We created a welcome flow for our ETSY customers and we’re about ready to start sending promotions to this new ETSY customer list. Our concern is that there may be profiles on our ETSY list, which also appear on our main SHOPIFY customer list. Our question: How can we remove (suppress) DUPLICATES from the Etsy list, our preference is to keep a duplicate profile on our main SHOPIFY customer list, but to remove any duplicate profiles from our ETSY customer list? Hope that made sense! Thanks in advance, Jason
I have found the articles on uploading landline numbers (with country codes etc). Is there a way to upload mobile numbers to Klaviyo? For example, 077……?Alternatively, some advice on how to format Excel to convert mobile numbers (currently 77…...) to a functional format. Thanks for your help.
Hi! I am uploading a list of mostly new subscribers and want to send them a unique welcome flow. However, I know for sure that a few of the people are already subscribers on my main list, and I want to take them off of the new list so they don’t get a new welcome flow. Is there a way to identify which subscribers are already on my main list without manually identifying each one? Alternately, is there a way to set up my flow so that people who are already on my main list won’t receive the new welcome flow? Thanks for the help!
Hello,I have created a second stage to my email sign up form, requesting new subscriber select their interests using multi-check boxes. The intention is for me to be able to segment based on interests, i.e. whether someone wants to receive our Showroom stock updates or just our Newsletter. I have trialled the form myself, selecting two of the five options from the list to outline that I want ‘Showroom Updates’ and ‘Newsletter’. However, when segmenting by just Showroom Updates, my personally data doesn’t form in the list. I only appear in the interest group containing both. How can I ensure that if subscribers select multiple boxes, they will appear in individual segments? DO I have to set the segment preference as ‘contains’ rather than ‘equals”? Thanks for your help everyone!
My client has a database spanning both northern and southern hemisphere. We need to segment based on hemisphere. I’ve tried using the latitude and it seemed to work but when I looked closer, it hadn’t.Why is the parameter even there if it doesn’t work? How can I create these segments?
Hello,I’ve been trying to collect Newsletter signups through a Pop-up set up on Shopify store that has a Global store and a UK store. I’ve set up a pop-up on the UK store account on Klaviyo but all the entries on that pop-up are being added to a List on the Global store account. What could be the issue and how do I resolve it?
HI All, I’m trying to create a segment of my newsletter subscribers by the first three digits of their postal code (FSA). I have 36 different FSAs that I want to filter on. Is there any way to load multiple filters in creating the definition for the segment instead of having to add an “OR” to the definition 36 times? Any suggestions are much appreciated.Thank you.
I’m noticing that traffic has been significantly down due to the recent iOS14 changes for Facebook Ads. This of course makes a great case for Owned Media as Email & SMS are winning. However, the challenge in this is that email & sms list growth has always *partially* dependent on the success of a brand’s paid ads strategy (unless they were lucky enough to get traffic from organic social and other non-paid avenues). With Facebook Ads bringing less & less traffic in for brands, what are ways that “owned media” teams can help to further close the loop with list growth without having to be reliant on Facebook traffic? Contests & Sweeps are one way. Starting an open thread here on what other methods are out there.
Hey guys, So I am looking to figure out how to do something - Our company has subscribers and one time purchasers. We have an order confirmation email that goes out to all recipients, both subscribers and one time purchasers. I want to test out a feature where the delivery date of the order will only be displayed to one time purchasers only. All orders in shopify from subscribers are tagged with a “subscriber” shopify tag. So I’m trying to figure out how to create a code to add into the existing order confirmation email so that a one time purchaser will be able to see the delivery date but a subscriber will not see this. How can I achieve this? I don’t want to create a separate email for this.I’d rather input a bit of code into the existing email to do this. Thanks!
After Creating A Custom Unsubscribe Page How Do I Create Segments For People Who Have Selected Their New Propertes?
Hey so I just went through Klaviyo’s how to create a custom unsubscribe page—bums me out that it’s only possible knowing how to code. Anyway, I just tried to make a segment for people who want to change their preferences to only hearing from us 2x a week, 1x a week, 1x a month. I am assuming because I just created the Custom Unsubscribe page, and there is no one with the properties yet, I cannot actually go ahead and create the segments? Is that so?Thanks so much for your help!
We will be renaming our company and changing our url and domain name in a few weeks. Since my email list subscribed knowing the brand as is, can I still email them under this new url/domain without asking their permission and or having them to re sign up to my mailing list?
Here’s an interesting one. One of our clients had their multiple regional stores connected to the same Klaviyo account, vis-a-vis klaviyo.js snippet. Turns out, we’ve been collecting subs from Australia and Canada in addition to US subscribers. We’re trying to filter them and put them into the correct accounts, so we’ve created a segment of people where the country is either set to Canada, or phone number region is Canada. Is there any other way you would identify subs?
I have a newsletter list which is all customers who sign up for our monthly newsletter through our website and when I click on manage list it has a view list suppressions option and then remove suppressed profiles option. If I remove suppressed profiles what does this do? Can I export this list some how?
Can you help?I would like to work out which new customers have bought from our store as a result of seeing a Facebook/instagram ad. I can go into each profile and see where they have come from under information and source. But is there a way of segmenting customers to see them all in one place? Thanks for your help.
When using dynamic and conditional content on email subjects, It would be great to have the rendered version shown in the profile activity panel.Right now it shows the original “code” with special characters, which is not only hard to read but also making it a guessing game to know what the profile has received as an email subject.
I have a list of subscribes not collected from our Shopify store, but we want to import the list and send emails to them. However, I’m worried about the bounce rate or will the account be restricted by European Privacy Policies or something like that and the emails cannot be sent?Thank you!
