Repeat purchase vs Replenishment Flow

Hi @kj93 The difference is subtle. My view is the following:Repeat purchase flow. This is to encourage customers who have placed one order to place another order. That could be for the same product or for cross-selling/up-selling. As they’ve only placed one order, the messaging would emphasise your brand, product USPs, product-use tips etc. You want them to become a repeat customer.The flow would trigger on placed order, and the flow filter would be placed order = 1 over all timeReplenishment flow. A nudge to remind customers who’ve purchased a specific product multiple times (2+ times) that it might be a good time to re-order. The timing of these messages would depend on how often the product likely requires replenishing. As with the repeat flow, you may want to include some brand values to remind them why they are buying from you. Also, an acknowledgement that they are a loyal customer; that may just be in the copy and/or an incentive to reward their loyalty.The flow would trigger on

Attribution Model - GA4 and Klaviyo

Hi @gemmatoys In Klaviyo, the default is that a recipient only has to open a message, even without a click, and then purchase within Klaviyo’s attribution window (default 5-days for email, 24 hrs for SMS) for a purchase conversion in Klaviyo to be recorded against a flow/campaign - even if that purchase finally occurs via another channel.More info on message attribution hereHope that helps.Andy

Coming Soon Flow

Hi @kj93This will work:Create a ‘coming soon’ list with an associated form for contacts to register their interest. They will be added to that list. Create a ‘coming soon’ flow that triggers when someone subscribes to the list above. Your first email (product is available) in the flow should be set to manual. That will create a queue of interested contacts who have subscribed. As it’s set to manual, they won’t receive the email until the next step. When the product is available, select the ‘product is available’ email in the flow and on the left side of the flow view, select ‘view all analytics’. On the next screen ‘recipient activity’ and then ‘needs review’. You will now see a list of all queued recipients and a ‘send all’ button at the top of the screen. Selecting that will send your email notifying them that the product is available.I suggest also adding a live ‘welcome’ email immediately after the trigger. That would just be a confirmation to the recipient of their subscription bu

Hi @Steve0603 In my opinion, you shouldn’t do that and I’m pretty sure it would be against Klaviyo’s T&Cs.If I understand correctly, you have a list of 4,900 contacts most of whom have not agreed to receive email marketing from your business. Where did that list come from?And if you did send to that list, it would likely damage your sender reputation and your brand. I always mark unsolicited emails I receive as spam if they even make it into my inbox!You mention some on that list have subscribed. How did you capture those opt-ins? That would be a good starting point to look at how you can grow your list of opt-ins.Not the answer you wanted but I hope that helps!RegardsAndy

Hi @kfodor Assuming you only have email lists in Klaviyo, I’d create the segment below. This segment will include contacts who have purchased AND have opted-in to marketing by subscribing to a Klaviyo list. It's the same approach for other ecomm platforms if you’re not on Shopify. I’ve included a condition to exclude unsubscribes purely so the list count of contacts who can be emailed is accurate.  However, this segment may not include all contacts who have purchased and opted-in if you are capturing opt-ins outside of Klaviyo and you are not sharing that opt-in data with Klaviyo via an integration.For example, Shopify will set Accepts Marketing = true for opt-ins but that won’t update Klaviyo’s email status unless you have configured the Shopify sync settings in Klaviyo to push those to a specific Klaviyo list.Hope that helpsRegardsAndy

Are sign up forms with A/B tests removing duplicate views?

Welcome to the comminity @Steph8 The view-count of a form is increased each time it’s seen, even if it’s the same visitor.A visitor is cookied when they see a form variant (A or B) for the first time. So they will only see that same variant on each visit unless they clear their cookies or browse incognito.Hope that helpsAndy

HI @Shimee That is strange. It should appear on that page. I hate to suggest switching off and back on again i.e log out/back in 😀 but I’d try that, then contact Klaviyo support.Have you tried a test submission on your embed form to see if that email is added to your BCFM list? That test email will need to be one that doesn’t already exist in that list. At least you’d know it’s capturing OK,RegardsAndy

Hi @DanWA Thanks. Got it now!Here's what I suggest below. It's using WooC metrics. As you had the recipients who received the discount code rejoining the flow and also receiving the "It's Mojito o'clock' email, I've used an email filter on the discount email rather than a conditional split. However, you could use a conditional split if you wanted to send the discount group additional discount reminders. That conditional filter would be the same.Only contacts who have never purchased your high-ticket product will receive that discount email. Those who have purchased that product historically would fail the filter and be skipped.I recommended initially setting the emails in the flow to manual so you can check the wait list before they receive them; check that everything is OK before setting to live.Let me know if my solution matches your requirements.Andy

Hi @KeldJ If pagevisits are sessions then the equivalent in Klaviyo is active on site.You can create a segment (audience) as below. Just replace ‘AD Test list’ with your subscriber list. Then the same for your registered user list and with ‘active on site > 10 in the last 7 days’I don’t believe there is a way to report active-on-site counts by segment though.Hope that helpsAndy

Hi @KeldJ Thanks. It’s been a few months since I’ve used MC but it does take a different approach to contact/list structure.In Klaviyo a profile is unique to a contact and contains a complete record of their details, metrics, events, properties, and what lists and segments they are members. A contact’s profile exists once but it can be included in many lists and segments.Personally, I find Klaviyo’s approach to be very logical and easy to use - all a profile’s data in one place. Welcome to the community @summersurfer You can certainly have a Klaviyo pop-up with a static discount code and that doesn’t require an email address to be captured. If it’s a general discount on offer, it doesn’t need to be dynamic - just single use per customer. Great if that code is shared widely I think!However, a unique dynamic code needs to be allocated to a profile by email address. Whenever the dynamic discount code placeholder is added to a message, a contact always receives the same unique code. Often, dynamic codes are used or higher discounts (winback etc) that you don’t want out in the wild!I would consider asking for their email as it’s a great opportunity to capture that data and provide follow-up too, for example, a flow to nudge them into using it, provide a soft sales pitch, etc. I think it’s a reasonable exchange for the contact - their email for a discount - and it’s an acceptable approach. If they don’t want to provide their email for a discount, then they’re likely

Welcome to the community @DanWA Just to add to the response by  @gmartuIf you want the discount to be offered to contacts who have previously ordered a product of less than $500 i.e to encourage them to buy the big-ticket items, then the condition should be 'ordered product value is less than $500 over all time' with the YES branch having your discount email. That will lookup all their previous orders, including ones placed prior to subscribing to your list.Let us know if that's not what you want.I also suggest that you keep your welcome flow (trigger on purchase or fulfilment metric) and email sign-up flow separate if you've not already done that. RegardsAndy

Hi @RosieClem A real head-scratcher!I wonder if this will work? I’ve no way of testing with my set-up.For clarity (and my sanity :-) , I’ve used the birthday field, weeks rather than days, and:Age 0 to 3 = ‘baby’Age 4 to 5 = ‘toddlerAge > 6 = ‘child’.You can adjust those values to suit.I suggest testing with the messages at manual for a while to check this works OK!Key points so you can check my logic is OK:The flow triggers on their (child’s) birthday so there’s a fix required to set the values initially (see FIX below). The 1st conditional split checks if the birthday is between 0 to 3 years ago (0 to 156 weeks). If it is (YES), the custom field age_group is set to ‘baby’  If the birthday is NOT between 0 to 3 years ago, the 2nd conditional split checks if it was between 4 to 5 years ago (157 to 260 weeks). If so, the custom field age_group is set to ‘toddler’ If NO then we know they are over 6 years old (more than 260 weeks ago) so, the custom field age_group is set to ‘child’  T

Welcome to the community @molliea15 You need to enable your Shopify sync settings in Klaviyo. This is necessary to keep your opt-ins aligned between Shopify and Klaviyo. Below is the set-up for syncing Shopify opt-ins so that those contacts are added to a Klaviyo list you specify and will then be flagged in Klaviyo as ‘subscribed’.You can find the sync settings below on Klaviyo under INTEGRATIONS > > SHOPIFY Note that this will only sync Shopify opt-in contacts from when you enable it and not historically.You may also want to sync from Klaviyo to Shopify so when a contact subscribes via, say, a Klaviyo form, their subscription status will also be updated  in Shopify. The settings to do that are under the ‘To Shopify’ tab below. Hope that helpsAndy

Giveaway in exchange for a subscription - how do I enter those already subbed?

No problem @Eleanor Shadow A contact can be a member of many segments and lists but will only be included in each of those once. Therefore, you can have a contact in your main opt-in list and they can also sign-up to be included in your prize draw list i.e that one contact will be a member of both those lists.My alternative, long-winded, approach using a segment for existing subscribers was only if you wanted to capture those as prize draw entries without them having to enter their email again.RegardsAndy
