Hi @Faber_Sam, welcome to the community!To better help you, can you share a screenshot of the template or perhaps the link or setting that you put in the Klaviyo button?  Have you tested the URL to make sure its valid and well formed?

Can't import reviews to Klaviyo as a CSV file, Can't process at all. Unknown Error.

@havvameletli - I’m not super familiar with the Reviews import process, but taking a quick look, I noticed your Product ID values are wrapped in quotes “”.  Have you tried removing the quotes and see if it works?Also, when I have CSV import issues in general (not just reviews), sometimes a misaligned comma, or a special character or in your case extra Quotes could break the process.  What I do is try to use a smaller set of data, make sure its super clean and well formatted, and then if that works, try a bigger set of data until you can find which row or data is breaking the process.Sorry we can’t be more helpful here, but perhaps others have other insights they can share.  Also, have you tried reaching out to Klaviyo support?  Perhaps they can help you directly in this case.

Double opt in Shopify Checkout, footer and Klaviyo

@Donniebrasc - glad you were able to find a solution from @StefanUE excellent answer. Splitting into two different Lists so that you have different opt-in behavior was what I recommended doing as well. In general, I think Klaviyo lets you decide what you need to do or want to do with the way you manage your Lists and marketing consent since it can vary from region to region as well as what the merchant or brand wants to do.  Though it may be a bit confusing at first, I like the option to be able to do what is best for the merchant on a case by case basis.  There are some cases where even though double opt-in is not required, it is still preferred to ensure a higher quality of audience and to combat bots and fake email signups.  Here’s a documentation on the topic that might help:Understanding the double opt-in processBest of luck and hope to see you here again in the community!

Using The First Name Code

In a recent update to the Template Editor, it is now easier then ever to add personalization tags like “First Name” with a default value.  If you click on the “Add Personalization” button in the lower right of the text editor, it will prompt you with the default value. See here:I used the default as “friend” and when you click “Insert” you should see the code as follows:{{ first_name|default:'friend' }}

Customize newsletter confirmation email

Hi @power pops, welcome to the community!Yes you can customize the double-optin confirmation emails.  Those emails can be customized in the account’s default consent page settings here:Settings → Other → Consent pages → Email Confirmation And, if you have a List specific consent page settings enabled, then you go to:List & Segments →  (“Your List Name”) → Subscribe & preference pages → Email Confirmation.There, you can custom the email by adding in additional blocks of images or text.  Here’s an example:Hope that helps!

Receiving Mailchimp removal request

Hi @LM0721, welcome to the community.Though my experience in Mailchimp is limited to mostly migrations to Klaviyo, my best understanding of what is happening is that those “Mailchimp Privacy Rights Requests” requests may have come from an automated email from Mailchimp if a user goes directly to Mailchimp to have their contact removed from all Mailchimp provided services. Those can trickle down to various Mailchimp “Members” that the contact may belong to (sometimes unknowingly) to different Mailchimp Member accounts.  Since you technically still have Mailchimp account, I think you get these whenever this happen.  As for Klaviyo not getting these requests, I think that’s simply because they are two different systems and the users are requesting it from Mailchimp and not Klaviyo.I’m not sure why a recently subscribed person would immediately want to request deletion, but just double check you still don’t have emails that are being sent out to the members.  Perhaps you have a double-opti

Add to Cart metric not sending

Hi @Ecliptaur, welcome to the community!If you are referring to the “Added to Cart” event triggered Flow, you need to create a new Flow specific to the “Added to Cart” metric. The easiest way to do this is using the Flow Ideas library for Shopify here: Abandoned Cart Reminder (Added to Cart Trigger).  Just note, this is different then the Checkout Started triggered Flow which is sometimes also referred to as the “Abandoned Cart” Flow. @elisegaines explains it well here:   If you’re not seeing the activity in your Profile when you append your email to the URL, its likely that the “Added to Cart” event didn’t properly fire to Klaviyo.  Navigate to your Analytics → Metrics → “Added to Cart” and see if the Chart or Activity Feed has events there.  See this example from my test account:These are all the “Added to Cart” events that occurred, make sure you see data here, otherwise it means the event trigger is not properly sending events to Klaviyo.There’s lots of troubleshooting tips with th

Products are not published

Hi @Tch8, welcome to the community!If you’re on the Shopify platform and cannot use Shopify’s native inventory management for inventory level or if products are “published” - then the only route I think you can take is to use create a Custom Catalog Feed via the Klaviyo API where you can maintain your own inventory status based on your own rules (that you have to code).  Unfortunately, this requires a fair amount of custom development.Other than that, there may be other 3rd party “Product Feeds” you can leverage, but it depends on how they work with Shopify and CJdropshipping.  Perhaps others in the CJdropshipping merchant community has other solution?

Can I pass HTML through an event property in an API call and just use that HTML inside of an email?

Hi @kenny.porterfield, welcome to the community!Depending on how you’re injecting the HTML into an existing Template programmatically, you may be able to use a variable filter safe to let the interpretor know that its HTML safe content.For example, let’s assume your variable is “content” - so you might want to try this:{{ content | safe }}There’s a related discussion here that isn’t exactly what you’re trying to do, but somewhat related that might be helpful.Not sure if @Walid can clarify more here, but hope this helps and let us know if it works.

Hi @Ed69 - ok, I think I see your issue.  Name servers are not the same as the DNS records and Klaviyo should not be your nameserver (NS). You should use the build-in Squarespace nameservers. Once you do that, you should be able to the edit the domain settings from the “Domain Panel” explained in the links I shared from reading the documentation. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Squarepsace account so I can’t confirm what goes beyond that link, but it should have way to add all the appropriate records that Klaviyo is asking you to update in the DNS.

Branded sending domain for two Klaviyo accounts on same root domain

@ebusiness pros thanks for the mention.My experience on this is a bit limited - but my understanding is that if you have two Klaviyo accounts, on the same top level domain (TLD), then you can use the same branding domain in the setup (e.g. send.company.com).  Even though they share the branded sending domain, when you do this in each Klaviyo account, it should still generate unique DNS credentials you can apply to your DNS records.

Filter Analytics by Campaign or Flow Tag

Hi @MissionMed, welcome to the community!Admittedly, I agree with you that the Dashboard can definitely use that feature.  However, as a workaround, you can build your “Custom report” and “group by” or “filter by” your Campaign tags.See here: Of course, the output of a Custom Report is a raw CSV File - so it lacks the data visualization and charts you get from the Dashboard.  However, if you pull this into a Spreadsheet or other tools, you can build your own charts and graphs.Some other resources about working with Custom Reports:Getting started with custom reports in Klaviyo Getting started with a custom reporting strategyHope that helps!

Consistent number of accounts joining and starting checkout out but appear to be fake

Hi @Ken, first, welcome to the community!I’m sorry you’re getting all these fake accounts and activity. Unfortunately, the internet is vast and there are plenty of bad and malicious actors out there.  Most of these are bot driven scripts that scan the internet for vulnerabilities and attack vectors and do this randomly across the web.If the account creation or bot activity doesn’t stop, the best way I’ve addressed this the following:Make sure all your Signup Forms and Embedded Forms have a Source value.  That way you can at least identify from which Signup Form these accounts are being created.  Are they subscribing from a specific Klaviyo Form, form your Ecommerce Platform, or elsewhere?  If it’s isolate to a specific Signup Form (or Source), then you can try to temporarily disable that Signup Form.  You can try replacing it with another Signup Form by simply duplicating it and replacing it.  My experience is that these bots “remember” the form and reattempt the same form periodically

Abandoned cart flows doesen´t work!

Hey @Herman, sorry to hear you’re having issues with your Abandoned Cart Flow.One of the first things I check is to see if the “metric” is working properly.  Since the Abandoned Cart Flow is triggered by the “Started Checkout” event, the first thing to do is to go to your Analytics → Metrics and make sure that those events are still being passed to Klaviyo.Go to your sidebar, and click on “Analytics → Metrics” and look for the metric “Started Checkout.”  If you click on it, it will show you a chart of recent events (or you can click on the Activity Feed Tab).  Expand the chart out to last 30 days or longer to see a longer timeline.See here:Here in my Test Account example, for “Started Checkout” - it shows that I have no events in the last 30 days.  Since the Abandoned Cart Flow you setup depends on these events to trigger the Flow, this could be the reason why the Flow is not working.My experience for WooCommerce is that occasional updates, template changes, or plugin/extension additio

Adding Klaviyo KPI's to a Looker Dashboard

Hi @MZeeb, For a few client projects in the past, I remembered our clients used Supermetrics to pull the data directly into Looker (Data) Studio the Campaign reports.  Otherwise, you can see the list of Klaviyo Connectors that other third parties has built for Looker here:Looker Studio > Connect to Data > KlaviyoThough not automated, you can also use Klaviyo’s Custom Reports to build a report that can quickly pull all the Campaign performance data in one single CSV file that you can import into Looker periodically.  Outside of that, Klaviyo now has a Campaign Report API that you might be able to use if you have some developer resources to pull that into Looker programmatically.Hope that helps get you started!

How to create a trigger flow on campaign email sent

HI @pant.amit, welcome to the community!As far as I know, there isn’t a way to Trigger a Flow from a Campaign based on Campaign performance metrics and events (Delivered, Opened, Clicked, etc), Klaviyo mentions in the docs that this isn’t yet possible.   However, you might be able to do parts of this with the Klaviyo API with the “Events API” and filter it to “Received Email” events.  Then for each person that received, you can look up the related message for some of the message data details.  However, from what I remember, it doesn’t appear it includes the actual email body (HTML or Plain Text).  That might be very low level data that isn’t exposed by the API yet - though you can also look at the “Campaign API” to see what data you can retrieve.With the information in the Campaign API, you also can get the Template ID and you might be able to rebuild each email for each recipient and send it to your third party endpoint, but that’s quite a big lift. Perhaps others might have other sug

Automated flow to people who have bought some product but not others.

Hi @ClicknTile, welcome to the community:So the most obvious way to do this is either with a Flow Trigger Filter (on the Placed Order Event) that can include a specific item and not a sample one, or, with a Conditional Branch in your Flow that can lead the user down separate paths based on the Condition of purchasing one product and not the other sample item.However, if you have lots of different Products that also have Samples, you may want to use their Category or Tags you may have on these products to group them together.  For example, if you bought a product that’s in the “Normal Category or tagged “Normal”) and another product in the “Sample Category” or tagged “Samples” - then you can create one catchall Flow for all products and samples.  I’m not super familiar witH WooCommerce and the data that is passed to Klaviyo, but this sort of depends on how specific or “general” you want your Flows to send based on someone buying a Product with a Sample.If you share some more examples of

Embedded Forms Getting Bot Signups

@chelsgrove - sorry to see this happening.  The bots have saved the destination URL of the Form (where the form submits to), so disabling the page probably won’t hide it unless you also disable the Form. This is probably restated in Taylor’s post and elsewhere, but this is what we do if we get blasted by bots:  Create a New List for this bot filtering process Enable Double-Optin on that New List Clone over any List triggered Flows (e.g. Welcome Series) to be triggered off this New List in case any normal subscribers sign up in the mean time. Change the List of the embedded Signup Form to the New List from the main List temporarily.  Wait X days, sort of depends on how persistent they are… Disable Double-Optin to see if the bot is still attacking the Form If everything has subsided, you can then point the Form back to your Main List.But long term solution is to also add in ReCaptcha, but that requires a legacy HTML form and some development work.

Creating weekly custom products emails depending on property ?

If you are on a custom developed system, have you fully integrated your “Custom Catalog Feed” with Klaviyo? What type of information are you gathering about your customers? And, how does that information dictate what products to send to them?  Do you have an internal algorithm or recommendation engine that can process the information and generate a list of products for each client?Let us know a few more details and perhaps we can help!
