I am really struggling to get my head around Klaviyo as there is quite a bit to it and was wondering if there’s a way to get some personalised training, even if it’s paid for?I went on one of the Academy calls which was getting started with Klaviyo but it was covering so many things within the time period and other people were on the call, I literally didn’t feel I was able to pick up on what was being shown. Whilst I could ask questions I feel that I just need some personalised guidance and wondered the best way to go in getting this.I’m at launch stage so I have no traffic, no customers and next to no subscribers, so I am on the standard package right now. 

Need clear guides to add the forms in framer ,I tried adding the embed but it doesnot seem to be working ,Searched the documentation just found some code to add on framer on all pages footer added those too still nothing seem to work ,Please anyone provide me clear guidance on how to add those properly?

Hi! I have two different signup forms designed to collect birthdays:One is targeted for visitors without a profile, so it collects email, name, bday in order to create a new profile.The other is targeting existing profiles without birthdays in their profile. The form is designed to create a more personalized feel by identifying the person as a current subscriber and asking to get their birthday added (with an “Update My Profile” button for submission). I created a segment that identifies subscribers who have a birthday in their profile. I haven’t figured out how to create a segment for those who DON’T have a birthday.So with that, I’m struggling with how to target this second form to only show to profiles without a birthday. If I select the targeting “Show to specific profiles in a list or segment,” I don’t have a list/segment specific to those without a birthday (only a segment with those who DO). If I use that segment under the “Exclude these lists and segments,” it will target ANYON

Hi there! We’re working on improving email deliverability. We’ve noticed our emails are consistently landing in junk on Outlook, despite all users being ‘Subscribed’. Any ideas why this may be happening? Has anyone else faced this issue?All help would be greatly appreciated! 

Hello community! I am trying to come up with a way to abort sending an email for a product if the product is out of stock. I know there is a built in way with klaviyo ‘unpublished=”cancel”’ but that is blocked behind logic that doesn’t work for our client.  I have already created a dynamic collection for out of stock products, have a conditional that pops when the product for the email (based on a viewed product event) is out of stock, but don’t actually know the code to abort an email from within the template.  Is there a way to cancel out of the email, programmatically through template? Something like {% exit %} or {% break %} or {% skip_email %} that would have the same end result as the unpublished=”cancel”? I am trying to find a list of available email template tags that I can use, but I think there may not be a comprehensive list. I have found several documents that reference a few, like unsubscribe and web_view, but the full list remains elusive.

I signed up a number of subscribers (about 25) before creating a Klaviyo flow that gives a welcome discount to newsletter subscriber. How can i now give those 25 subscribers the welcome promo code?And is there a way to send a reminder with the code, to the ones that did get one after I created the flow?Ideally what i want to do is send all subscribers a reminder and those that signed up prior to the flow get a promo code too - is this possible?

When using the “Create or Update Profiles” endpoint (/api/profile-import/) , I found a certain scenario that produces an expected result. Consider this payload:{ "data":{ "type":"profile", "id":"[redacted]", "attributes":{"email":"[redacted]"} }}When a profile already exists for that id, and the email differs, it updates the profile with the new email as I would hope. However, if another profile exists with this new email address, I expected it to return a 409 with the id of the duplicate profile as described in this question , but it actually returns a 404:{ "errors":[ { "id":"6e03e204-aa9d-48f8-b516-ab52ecf03958", "status":404, "code":"not_found", "title":"Not found.", "detail":"A profile with id {redacted} does not exist.", "source":{"pointer":"/data/"} } ]}But if I do a `GET /api/profiles/{redacted}` with that same id which “does not exist”, I get a successful response. (And can view the profile via klaviyo’s site.)Is this a bug? Or

This is probably the simplest question but I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to work out why this Flow isn’t finding anyone!I want to send a Warranty Sign Up Reminder to customers who have purchased specific items but it doesn’t seem to bring people in even if I know for certain they’ve ordered that product. When Previewing the flow, all of the last 10 orders ‘would not enter the flow’ (2 definitely do!) and even if I put a test order through myself, I don’t qualify either.We’re using Shopify, the integration is clearly working because I can see order information when I Preview the Flow. Also, SKU isn’t a Trigger filter option (which would have been my first instinct) What am I doing wrong here? Thanks!  

I’m creating emails for a brand whose primary customers are 60+ I want to make the discounting process as easy as possible for them. I feel like copying and pasting (especially on mobile) could cause some friction.  What’s the best method to provide them with a good discounting experience?

We suddenly see Klaviyo totally messing up our customers profiles locations. Even if they where located in a certain country (based on their first order from us) Klaviyo changed the country in their profile based on their zip code. The zip code is also present in other countries so it seems like Klaviyo just by random changed the country for A LOT of our customers profiles. This means we cant segment on country any more since the data is not accurate.We are awaiting response from support but need this solved ASAP: Anyone had similar issues in the past and know how to solve it?

Is there a way to download the flow diagram, and/or get a table/sheet showing each step, the message/action and time delays?

Struggling here. I want to show only products that contain “Tires” in the title for the product in the email, as it’s for a specific itemThe problem is that right now it is showing multiple other items they added, not just that itemI have a filter within the table for the text on the side: (the success is a placeholder){% if 'Tires' in event.ItemNames %}<div>Success</div>{% endif %}But it seems to be working off on complete match, not partial match as the title contains more than just Tires How can I get it to only show items that have Tires in the name, and only show one item? I can’t slice this to just show the first item as it will most likely be a different item in the way the data comes over.

I have set up a Refer a friend form page on my shopify site using SC Conjured Referrals app and I’ve been made aware that this app is integrated with Klaviyo meaning that the refers and the members being referred should be populating as a list in Klaviyo, but I’m unsure how to link it up so it works?

Hi! Our team is investigating a recent trend in our email marketing. We’ve observed a decrease in our open rates over the past few months. Previously, our open rates consistently ranged between 45% to 50+%. Currently, they sit around 30% to 35% (a decrease of about 13%).Note that:We haven’t made any major changes to our email design or layout. Our subject lines are similar to what’s always worked for us. Click-through rates remain comparable to previous campaigns.We’ve also observed a shift in engagement because clicks on our social media buttons within the emails have increased. Clicks on these buttons were usually minimal to none, but now we’re seeing an average increase of 10-15 clicks per social media platform.We’re wondering if this decline could be related to the recent changes we made to comply with Google and Yahoo’s requirements. My client is based in Europe, they ship mainly to the US  As a result their shipping costs are quite high (~$30). To combat this they have a flat shipping rate, so you can add more items for the same shipping price. They experience a large number of abandoned checkouts. Presumably because the customer discovers the price after entering their shopping details and deciding not to purchase. I'm looking for some advice for  1) Desiging a process to collect data about why the customers abandon (any tools, implementation advice etc.) 2) How you would go about combating this high abandonment rate, via the abandoned checkout flow or otherwise, in the most profitable manner? Thanks in advance!

I have some previous experience in creating emails in Canva, I can create some nice designs. But I’m unsure about how effective Image based emails are vs. HTML I would like to move over to Figma as most ecom agencies seem to use it. Also how long would it take for me to become competent at coding the emails so that they work properly in the various email providers? Who can I learn this from to quickly become good at it? Thanks  

My clients has a large, unorganized database of nearly 900k profiles, 650k of which are active email profiles. There is no real master list in effect here. Profiles entering the database from varying avenues are added to different lists. I have never organized a database of this size before.  I’m wondering do the same principles of a regular store apply here. Having one master list with everyone on it and various other lists and segments for different sign-up sources etc? For example the client has many brick and mortar locations and capture customers email manually from the store and upload them to klaviyo. Should all of these emails be added to the master list and be automatically added to other lists via a tagging system. How would that work? Also if anyone could outline a process whereby I could begin to wrap my head around the database and get a system in place to clean it up, that would be amazing. Thank you!
