What is the &_kx= string at the end of my URLs and can it be switched off?

Hi everyone and happy Friday!We have the normal UTM tracking on our links and we have added a custom utm_lc to track the “last click” source on a profile.but Im seeing another code on the end of our links that I can find the source of, the &_kx= and this string can get quite long and messy looking:?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Testing_1&utm_lc=Klaviyo&_kx=u7eRR65NqnLZ15DPx3ylMy9oSyyH_ttWWReiaicE1yg%3D.TLh3LFIs this an important string, what is it measuring/writing back to and is it editable/switch offable? Thank you

Segments with "Contains" instead of Equals and other hardcoded limitations

There are a few of these hardcoded qualifiers in the segment builder.I would love for it to be a selection box of equals, contains, starts with and other common options for filteringSimilarly, the ability to select multiple values in one section rather than adding multiple lines for each productname from a list. I had a similar issue with Date based fields. I can choose if the date was between 5 and 10 days AGO but I cannot select a segment with a date field that is in THE NEXT 5 to 10 days. I can select a group that is within the next 10 days, but there isn’t even an option to add an exclusion to say “not to include” people who are within the next 5 days to get me the segment I was after. I understand that these hardcoded limiters on the segment builders are not necessarily a quick fix, but is there maybe a way to build segments with raw SQL code to cover for these gaps in the system until the hardcoded limitations are expanded? Thank you,Don

Network errors when deleting and editing flows

Whenever I delete a decision split I get this red popup and the flow looks unchanged - once I refresh the page everything seems to have worked though. This is new and has only been happening for the last few days.

Adding personalization into subject lines

I would love the ability to add personalization into my subject lines but as it stands there is an emoji button and a button to use the AI wizard but no “add personalization” button.   You can add personalization but it means going into the email editor creating a text block adding the personalization there Cutting it, deleting the block and pasting it back into the subject line and that creates a lot of opportunities for human error.Does anyone else use personalization in subject / preview text and what workarounds are you using?

Visibility of people waiting in flows

As you can see I have 100k+ people waiting at this conditional split, I would like to know how many people will be coming out of that split per day.with the current view I can see the individual records… even at 100 per page it will take forever to scroll through and work out how many are getting it on Sunday Vs Saturday etc  (also a Date rather than just a day of week would be great).If there was a rollup summary view that showed the how many people per calendar date will be on waiting in that activity it would be great.As it stand I do not actually know if people will be getting the email tomorrow or not and thats not a comfortable place to be at. Thank you

I can't open multiple templates at once in the new template library?

So…. there seems to have been an update in the last week or so to the template page that now when you click on a template to edit it poppsup with this preview window:  No  ‘open in a new tab’ optionThe issue with this is I can no longer open multiple templates across multiple tabs to work on a full campaign at once.As there are no tagging of folder structures in the Templates section I need to search by keyword then click a template then click the edit button and then do it all over again.A week ago I could type in my keyword and open 5 templates across multiple tabs easily and unlike many other changes, there is no “use previous version” button.I personally really don’t like this change and feel like it adds a bunch of unnecessary clicks to find/do what I’m trying to do -  but I’d like to hear what the community thinks. Thanks

How do I add brackets or limitations to OR statements in Segment builder?

This is a segment I built: I only want to include leads who have engaged with our content - but because I am selecting people who opened an email “OR” clicked an SMS I am ending up with people who are Active Clients that have also clicked on an SMS.Is there a way to Bracket the AND/OR statements so I can do something like (Opened OR Clicked) AND not a Client?the way the OR statement is attached to the previous condition makes it look like it is connected and might be written like that - but it is not. PS.This is another use case where being able to edit the fields shown when looking at a segment list would be super helpful where I’d be able to see at a glance if the segment is including/excluding the right people without having to guess and hope that my random spot-checking individual records stumbles onto a key record indicating if Active clients are in the list or not.

Is there a way to create custom views?

I would like to create some views/exports where I can select the specific profile fields that are being displayed while segmenting the group based on either behaviors or profile attributes of the audience. The current List & Segments does not seem to be editable or exportable. I’m also having issues with the Custom Reports tab in getting the fields I want to have a quick stats view on. Is anyone else using Klaviyo for reporting and is there other ways of doing this beyond the functions listed above? Thanks

Dynamic content in an email pointing at "Newest Blog Post"

I am working on building a re-engagement flow that will send an email template that dynamically pulls the name, image, blurb, and URL of the latest blog posted on our website.I know Klaviyo can pull products into an email dynamically - but can I o the same for our blog pages, How would I tag these pages for Klaviyo to “see” them and how can I keep them differentiated from the actual products that we have triggers around? Thank you

Can I build filters or segments based on timing between variables?

The current conversion Attribution model in Klaviyo is a bit broader than my companies “Last click contribution model”.So, I am looking at building a filter/custom report/segment to show only people who clicked on an email and placed an order within the next 3 days.the current filters of “clicked and email and made a purchase don’t seem to link to each other in a way I can edit - so people may be clicking on an email after their purchase, or making a purchase weeks after their last email engagement. I’d also like to see an average time between people receiving the email to when they open it, to how long before they click on it (do they click on their first view, or do they come back multiple times and re-engage with the same email day later)So, long story short, are we able to use ne variable as the criteria in the time range for another variable in a filter, list or segment? Thanks

I am looking at the Metrics Tab and there seems to be a toggle to select a specific segment or “Everyone” but I don’t see how/where to add segments to this available list - any help is greatly appreciated :)

Customizing Custom Reports

Im still relatively new to Klaviyo so i appreciate any and all community support.I am building out some Custome reports to track Flow performance across A/B tests and various flows and I’m struggling to add fields to these reports, for example subject lines. Having the subject line pulled into the report next to the break down of open rates can gave a quick single view on whats working and what's not across multiple campaigns at a glance (also our past EDS did this so my manager is expecting it and I’d rather not copy past everything across tabs in Excel).Another thing that would be great is the “Conversion Metric” I can get a total of Orders Placed - but I’m struggling to find the actual people who made those purchases to spot check and monitor - in the flow you can see the analytics and see the audience who performed any flow activity, but the conversion metric isn’t an option there.Long story short - is there a way of customizing the output of the reporting in Klaviyo?

How do I set the background color per column in a "Split Block"

This is what I am trying to create: and stacking on mobile like this:In Klaviyo a table doesn’t stack on mobile, I would usually use the “Split” content block, but it only has one toggle for the background color that stretches across both sides:Is there a way to set the color per column? even in the HTML if possible? Thank you

How do I level neighboring tables in a template?

I am trying to create a table in an email I am migrating/ rebuilding from our old EDS but am struggling to get things lined up right.There doesn’t seem to be an option to standardise the size of columns or rows in my table , so if the images are not all the same size I cant pad around them to make it even.This is in Klaviyo, without the ability to set a standard depth of each row, the second row starts at varying levels in each tableThis is what I’m aiming to replicate from our old EDS where the text is still level even though the images are not consistent in size I have also found that to get these 3 columns to stack appropriately in mobile I need to use the “Columns” layout with a small 1 column 2 rows “Table block” in each of the three columns the layout creates - this is because a normal table just compresses and a “split” Block is limited to 2 where I need 3. Thank you

Flow sending double at each communication stage

I activated an abandoned cart flow and added a filter to restrict people who has been in the flow in the last 16 days - thinking that this would stop people from being in the flow multiple times at once.Checking the activity log this morning it appears that many if not all of our customers received each communication twice, sometimes getting both halves of an A/B test at the same time! And things without A/B tests (SMS) also double sent. Flow filters The fact that it is not double sending to everyone, but to MOST of them seems even more confusing to me as I cannot see any setting or logic to how/why these send activities are doubling!

Error in welcome flow analytics?

I have been getting odd and inaccurate numbers in Klaviyo Flow analytics.I sent myself through a flow and never received the email - I’m not sure why it didn’t hit the inbox, if there was spam blocking or firewall issues but it never hit my inbox.Klaviyo still reported that not only was the email delivered but it was opened and clicked on!Similarly with an SMS that I received but did not click on Klaviyo logged that I clicked the SMS.And today looking at live customers who went through a flow it is showing that 60% of the people who clicked links in the email opened it 0 times, I am not sure how that is possible though. But these issues are making it difficult to trust the numbers I’m seeing - I raised a support ticket 2 weeks ago regarding this issue and have yet to hear from support - it does seem that this community board is monitored more regularly though.  Emails that were not delivered nor opened or clicked People who Clicked on emails they didn’t openThe SMS I never clicked on!

Editing the Time Delay of a live flow - not working

I have a Flow that I was trying to “Pause” by increasing the wait between emails to hold the audience for another week before sending (giving us time to get test results and update our landing pages) - while I was able to amend these wait tags and altered the time zones the tags were based on - and everything saved and looked right, all the emails sent based on the original timeline from when I hit live. My question is, is this a bug, did I do it wrong? why is it letting me edit and save my changes if it is not going to implement them?Did I need to Update Action statuses out of live, then switch it back for the time delay alterations to be recognized? Thank you
