"Viewed Page" Segment Technique

I’m looking for a way to build a segment based on whether someone viewed any page including (www.brand.com/folder1/) so that it includes User who viewed it and all other extensions of that URL.When I use my Viewed Page filter, it forces me to choose an exact URL, rather than using a includes statement.The logic could be [Viewed Page] when [URL] includes [www.brand.com/folder1]Rather than[Viewed Page] when [URL] is [www.brand.com/folder1] How do I get around this limitation?

How to Send Transactional Emails to Profiles Who Unsubscribed?

Hey All. I’m running some transactional messages through Klaviyo, like “password reset” emails, yet some folks don’t receive them because they opted out of email.Their consent status shouldn’t stop them from receiving password resent emails, so, how to I override their status so they receive the password reset flow?Thanks!

Why Are Transactional Email Deliveries Delayed by Hours?

I have a transactional “Activate Your Account” email in a flow without a time delay, yet the email is in the waiting stage and will be there for a few hours.I’m confident I don’t have any other rules in place to delay the send. I just sent a few copies of this email type without delay, yet a latest tranch of emails is delayed. Why does this happen?

SMS: Event Payload for Shipment Tracking Messages

Hello Community, Has anyone created an event payload for shipment tracking SMS messages? Asking because I have shipment tracking events pushing to Klaviyo, yet I’m only sending Order # and an array of tracking numbers. I just no realized I need an URL, and I’m not sure how to structure the payload to include a return URL for the order number and each tracking number. I’d love to see a screen shot of how you’re doing it. Thanks!

Reporting for Unsubscribe Reasons

Hello community, I’m collecting unsubscribe reasons and storing them as custom properties in Klaviyo profiles.How do I create a Klaviyo dashboard report or export a tabled report for further analysis? A bit more context:When someone unsubscribed, they can choose from 5 multiple choice reasons.The custom klaviyo property name = Email Unsubscribe ReasonThe “Email Unsubscribe Reason” property value = their choice.

Transactional SMS: How to Collect "Transactional Consent" Separately from "Promotional Consent"

I found this, but it falls short of explaining how to collect consent separately between the two message types; promotional and transactional. I’m asking because I’m going to allow my customers to sign up for SMS Shipment Tracking messages, using Fedex’s Track API, yet SMS messages will be delivered by Klaviyo. Is there a best practice guide or published set of instructions for how to manage this correctly?Or, is it one Consent box, but we add people to a “transactional” or “promotion” list, or tag the profile, and use the lists or tags to filter Users from SMS messages types that they didn’t consent to?

I want to A/B test a popup form and create a hold-out audience. So, Version A is delivered to 50% of the audience and Version B is empty - they get nothing. How can I accomplish this with Klaviyo forms?

Best Practice for Transactional SMS: Shipment Notifications

Hi Community, I’m looking for advice on how to deploy a transactional sms message for shipping notifications without signing folks up for marketing SMS. Does it make sense to separate transactional SMS and marketing sms recipients? Does it make more sense to ask for marketing SMS consent? “Sign up for shipment tracking notification via SMS and other messages”. Therefore collecting typical consent? I have a custom site and Klaviyo integration. I assume I’ll have Events/Metrics posting to Klaviyo profiles with shipment tracking updates are available… with a parameter that tells me which kind of message it is. “It’s shipped” “Arriving Tomorrow” “Out for delivery” “Delivered!”. Looking forward to learning your approach.

TypeForm > Klaviyo: Custom Profile Properties not working

Hi everyone. I’m running a Net Promotor Survey through Typeform, and using Klaviyo to email folks to take the survey.Since integration Typeform > Klaviyo yesterday, as many as 30 people filled out the NPS, but “Filled Out Form” metrics are still at Zero, and Custom Properties have not been autogenerated for each form question. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, does anyone use a custom UTM parameter, and if so, does it break Google Analytics tracking? Asking because I added a custom UTM while keeping all other the same, now a month’s worth of Source = Klaviyo analytics is missing from GA.

How do I TEST my new preference center?

Hello everyone,I created a custom preference center, and I’d like people who click “Unsubscribe” in the email’s footer to go to this new custom hosted page to either 1) change the email preferences 2) completely unsubscribe. How do I go about testing the new page?Meaning, I want to send myself an email campaign, click on unsubscribe, and play around with the preferences. How do I get the unsubsribe link to point towards the new preference center page?

How to Create Dashboard Charts with Trends

Hi, the previous dashboard had a way of creating a monthly, weekly, daily, yearly, trend chart for click-rates, open, rates, bounce rates, and spam rates for each individual flow, a flows aggregate, individual campaigns, and a campaign’s aggrigate.I can’t find a way to create this type of chart. Please help. This is having a big impact on my ability to create reports with trends. Thanks!

Can a customer place an order via SMS? Here’s what I’m thinking:I sell a replenishable product, and my goal is to make reordering as simple as possible.I’d like to send and SMS with product details and ask the customer to reply with “Yes” (or something similar) if they want to reorder. Is this possible?If not, what is the most frictionless way to capture reorders via sms?

How can I create a custom manage preference page?

Hello. I’m looking for advice. I have a digital communications preference center in mind that goes beyond Klaviyo’s default list opt-out experience. I want a page that allows the User to opt in and out of email, sms, and push for various topics.This is essentially both a subscribe, unsubscribe, and preference center in one page.I also want want to give the User a chance to decrease the email volume, as they should be allows to set a preference for “once a month” “twice a month” or “gimme all the email”Here’s a screenshot of what I designed.Please provide some advice or instruction for how to implements this type of preference center.Thank you!

Custom Integration for Browse Abandonment

Hello. I have a custom website, and therefor, a custom integration with klaviyo. I have Product Detail pages that fire a viewed product event to Klaviyo.I also have a viewed category event that fires to Klaviyo as well. viewed category is the parent to viewed product. These events fire individually as a User jumps from category and product pages to category and product pages. How do I code these emails up so the browse abandonment flows, which target viewed category and viewed product in separate flows, so that all viewed category events from a session get grouped into one email template.

Why didn't this Flow suspend?

Hi,I set up a Flow Filter to stop sending if someone logs the the event named LOCAL ORDER at least once since starting this flow, yet the flow kept sending. Why?  See second screenshot for profile activity. You’ll notice the email sequence continued to send.

Hi everyone,Is there a way to build lifecycle reporting in Klaviyo?I’d like to understand the following:The reorder frequency of a segment. I’m looking for reorder patterns like the average length of time between order 1, order 2, order 3, etc. Lifetime value of a segment. I have customers who buy 4 units at a time. I also have customers who subscribe to 1 unit at a time (I sell a replenish-able product). Can Klaviyo provide this type of report in the dashboard page?Let me know!Thanks!

Adding SMS Consent to List subscription page

Is it possible to add SMS consent to a List Subscription page?I'm asking because the functionality to add SMS consent to the phone number field does not exist in Klaviyo's builder.The goal is to send an email within the First Purchase Welcome Series to new customer's who have yet to consent to SMS, and link them to a Lander with SMS consent.I suppose we could pop a consent form similar to what we're currently using but I'd rather use a dedicated Lander if possible.Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
