Create new profile via API with phone number only

Hi there, I have a website that I’m looking to add a custom styled SMS sign-up form too.We currently have an email only sign-up that captures users emails, but now want to offer an SMS only sign-up as well.I’ve updated from v1 API to the latest for the email form and that works fine.However creating a new subscriber with only the phone_number field and no email seems to silently fail. I get a success response, yet no data in SMS list within Klaviyo.If i test with a hardcoded email attached then it goes straight through. Is it possible to create a new subscriber with phone_number only?Or is an email mandatory when posting to the subscription endpoint using ajax - https://a.klaviyo.com/client/subscriptions/?company_id=XXXXXXX Here is the reference doc I have been referring too:https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/create_client_subscription I have Single opt-in enabled too. Thanks in advance.

Text-to-Join keyword

Is there a way to have a text-to-join Keyword that people can text to my number that adds them to the list...ie. Text “JOIN” to 888-999-0000 to subscribe Also, if 1 user signs up for both text and email communications, does that person count as 1 or 2 contacts against my plan?

Can virtual contact card MMS create a different message thread than your toll number?

Hello, anyone else have the issue of their SMS VCC card producing a different message thread than the one sent by your toll free number?  My SMS welcome flow has two SMS messages in it.  One SMS message contains a VCC card and one message contains some copy.  They produce different message threads in my phone. I can consistently reproduce this behavior by deleting my profile and triggering the flow again. I also have had colleagues reproduce the behavior The list that triggers the flow is double-opt in.

Can we please store SMS consent in non-supported regions?

Use case: in a non-Klaviyo supported SMS regions, I have an SMS app that stores consent and can receive profile data from Klaviyo (although not the other way around). I use Justuno to collect the email (which goes into Klaviyo), and the SMS (which goes into SMSBump). Q: can we please update Klayio’s interface so that we can store mobile numbers, SMS consent and list subscriptions in non-supported regions. Even though we can’t send the SMS from Klaviyo. Not having this makes for a very disjointed experience and lots of data-wrangling to make profiles match in both the SMS platform and Klaviyo.

SMS Conversational Flow with Customer / Response to Trigger Additional SMS in flow

Hi there, I am creating an SMS flow triggered by a customer sending in an “SMS keyword” using the “Sent SMS” trigger, and a trigger split where the message body contains “x”.My flow is almost exactly how I want it, however it would be perfect if I could make it a bit more conversational (ie: if after the initial SMS is sent from us, is there a way to have the customer send a Y/N response to then trigger the SECOND SMS to send to them, but they only get it if they say Y? Adding an example of my flow below. So the idea would be having the Y/N response from customer needed between the two “SMS test”Would really appreciate any guidance here!

SMS - Your toll-free number application was rejected

I attended one of Klaviyo's training sessions to implement SMS. I requested authentication for our number but received the message that oour toll free number was rejected.After verification, it appears that our number is managed through a VOIP application (Canada), so it's not like a regular personal number. It's the company's number that reaches several individuals' cell phones.Is it still possible to run SMS campaigns? What do you recommend? We also don't want people to reply to this number (as it's our number for managing orders).I'm not sure if I'm being clear.I really want to try SMS campaign.

I’m following this support document, and when setting up a SMS campaign, there is no “Add Media” icon (an image icon) on the left within the message box. How do I add media or a contact card to my messages? Thank you!

SMS subscription link - How to see new subscribers

Hi there, I am really excited to start using the “growth tool” of adding subscription links for SMS to my Instagram Stories, however, I’ve realized that there’s nowhere to see who subscribed through that link in the growth tool itself. Is there a simple way to see how many have subscribed from this dedicated link, or a way to pull them into a segment?  Thanks!

Hello, One of my clients has bought out another business and absorbed their contacts. Of these contacts they are SMS numbers that had previously opted into the business’ SMS marketing. Are we able to then send SMS messages to these absorbed contacts after updating profile properties to “consented”?

How do you handle one-off responses that come back from Klaviyo SMS and email sends? Do you have a dedicated team that handles this or can something more automated be created based on content in the response?

Warning when sending SMS marketing between hours of 9am to 8pm?

I’m sending an SMS campaign set for 10 am recipient’s local time zone. Why is it I’m getting this message when everyone on my SMS list has a +1 (U.S. only) phone number and the time is within the 9am to 8pm window?

Please stop deleting SMS conversations for merged accounts

Hi there, Can Klaviyo please stop deleting SMS conversations for profiles that were merged manually or automatically?I have reported this situation several times and every time I was told “it was going to be looked into” but, of course nothing happened. You have a customer that subscribes to a list via SMS, they send SMS then make an order on the website.After the order is made, Klaviyo automatically merges the profile (based on the phone number) then poof! Their SMS conversation magically disappears and you can’t get in touch via SMS (unless you create a campaign?! just for this individual).This is just one example.Profiles can be merged manually and automatically by Klaviyo and every time this happens, their SMS conversations disappear from the conversations page and the only way to check the history is to spend a lot of time analyzing tens of not hundreds of activities on their profiles. But even if you do that, there’s no easy way to reply to their texts. You would have to create s
