Need solution to receive MMS (image+video) from subscribers

We have a ported toll-free number (US+CA) and need to be able to receive images and videos from our subscribers. I’ve been searching desperately for a solution with no luck! Any ideas on how to work around this? I tried using the Zendesk integration (long shot), have researched toll-free text forwarding… Currently running in circles finding no solutions. Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

What third party SMS Age Gate apps integrate with Klaviyo?

Hi, I’m doing work for a U.S. alcohol brand, and I’m trying to set up SMS opt ins. From what I’ve read it looks like Klaviyo doesnt support SMS opt in age gating for SHAFT brands. Does anyone know of a 3rd party app that integrates with Klaviyo to be compliant? Or, do we have to move off Klayvio to another platform?

Customers Accidentally Unsubscribing from SMS

We are running into an issue with the “unsubscribe” words with SMS. We offer subscriptions of our products to our customers. Every time a customer texts us to say they want to “cancel their subscription” it unsubscribes them from SMS because it contains the word “cancel”. They then resubscribe and send the same message only for the exact same outcome to occur, causing an extremely frustrating loop for the customer. There must be a way to add a word that will stop the word “cancel” from unsubscribing from SMS?

Is there a way to automate an SMS reply to leads that I receive via email?

I'm trying to see if Klaviyo will work with a lead referral program that I am signed up with. When a lead comes in, I’m sent an email with the prospect’s name, email, and phone number. I want to be able to automatically send an Introductory SMS in response to these lead-generated emails.Any help is very much appreciated!

SMS Flow - 1min delay on welcome series initial text

Hello Folks!So I just created a welcome series SMS signup and having issues with the discount link being sent back by Klaviyo taking over 1 min to come back. I originally had a virtual card also but that caused the delay to be 2mins so I removed that already. Great example of a gold standard here is Jaxxon’s mobile signup, the text message almost comes back instantly, sending you right back to the website. That 45-60s is going to kill the bounce rate for me. Any solutions/anyone else experienced this?

Record SMS sent replies to pass via integrations

One of the BIG limitations of the Klaviyo to Gorgias integration is that inability to pass the whole automated SMS conversation from Klaviyo to Gorgias when a customer replies. For instance, if there are several automated SMS in a sequence and someone replies to an open ended question eg “I’d like to learn more about this product” then that reply has no context when it comes into Gorgias as the SMS they replied to is not bought in for the whole conversation. I’ve reached out to Gorgias on this and they have said this is a limitation of the Klaviyo system. Is there a way to record that SMS reply (even if it’s via an API integration) so it can then be allocated to that ticket in Gorgias?

Profile properties and flows

Hello, can a subscriber have more than one profile property? Here’s where I’m having a glitch, it might be an error in my set up?Day 1: A user signs up for emails: enters an email welcome flow that runs over 7 days. At the start of the flow, a new profile property is added (‘In Flow’ - Welcome (email)). This allows me to create a segment of anyone who is on that flow so I can exclude them from other email campaigns for now. The profile property is removed as they exit the flow. (Profile property ‘In flow’ is removed).Day 2: Same user signs up to SMS, enters an SMS welcome flow that runs over 3 days. Again, at the start of the flow, a new profile property is added which says that they are ‘In Flow’ - Welcome (SMS). The profile property ‘In flow’ is removed as they exit the flow. What I’ve noticed is that when they go into the SMS welcome flow, they are being removed from the email welcome flow and I’m not sure why. I tested it out with my own email address yesterday and stopped receive

SMS Credit Usage

We’re looking at some of the Klaviyo integrations related to SMS, and currently run both campaigns and flows using SMS messaging, so I was curious if there is any report type that can show by week, just like ‘total received SMS’, of ‘total SMS credits used’ by each message so I can see where the volume of our plan is being allocated and adjust accordingly?

How can i get existing profiles to submit phone number

I want to start incorporating SMS into my Klaviyo and need to grow the SMS list. I plan on targeting existing profiles with sms signup forms but I want to ramp up this effort by including something like a footer in my campaigns that informs my recipients to sign up for SMS but I don't know the instructions to put there Do I tell them to go to my site and to see the form (this sounds dumb) or is there a code they can send to the phone to signup for SMS. Any tips to help me that I don't know about? Thank you!!!

SMS Deliverability - Device Disconnected

I have an SMS flow launching today and I entered myself into the flow last night to test it. I received my opt-in messages, but the first SMS message failed to deliver due to "Device Disconnected" and I'm in the "Waiting" status for the second message.My device is definitely still connected and I need help troubleshooting so this doesn't happen to my customers who opt-in today.

How to collect names and email addresses from SMS-only profiles?

We have many SMS-only profiles on our SMS list. We would like for them to have names and emails so we can reach out to them if they win one of our contests.  I first thought of doing this with a text-response survey that fills in these profile fields one at a time. But it looks like there’s no way to use an event variable as a profile property. Also, the sequencing would be difficult, as the “sent text” event trigger does not seem to be able to filter based on what text they replied to.  Then I thought of sending them a manage preferences link, where they can type in their name and email in some form fields. But the {% manage_preferences_link %} does not work in SMS.  So how can this be done?

SMS Flows is not working!

Hi there,Hope you are all doing good. I have set up Klaviyo SMS Flows for my customers. I create a sign up form for capturing both E-mail and SMS. Those who put there email address they are receiving email from klaviyo but they are not getting SMS from klaviyo. Could you please help me why klaviyo is not sending SMS? Thank you!

Abandon Cart Link in SMS Flow

I’m working on adding an SMS branch to our abandon cart flow and I am not seeing where to add the link to return them to their cart from the text…. will this auto populate? When I send a preview text to myself there is no link but not sure if that’s because I don’t have a cart to preview?

Why doesn't klaviyo receive SMS consent from Facebook or Instagram etc.?

Hi all,I have about 40k subscribers with active phone numbers awaiting me to target and send sms campaigns to them. However, only about 90+ of them has consented to receive my sms according to Klaviyo.Is there a workaround or do I have to send an email campaign to let those customers agree to receive sms through Klaviyo again?

Hi all! Previously I recall sending an SMS campaign with the option to schedule time according to the recipient’s timezone. I can’t seem to find that option anymore, would anyone be able to help?This is what I see when trying to schedule: FYI recipient are in US, Canada, Aus, UK. Thank you in advance.
