New Editor: Inconsistent left/right padding between different blocks on mobile

Hi There, new to Klaviyo so sorry if this basic.We’re having trouble getting elements to line-up on the left edge on Mobile. No matter what combination of element or block padding we apply, stuff doesn’t seem to line-up in the new editor.Example #1 - Block-level PaddingBecause block padding is available everywhere, if we standardise settings and only use block padding, we get inconsistent margins on mobile.See the red line, the text, button and stars image all have 30px block-level padding and 0px element padding but nothing lines-up on mobile... Example #2 - Element-level PaddingBut if we try to use 30px of element padding instead (not available on images or buttons) the text also doesn’t line-up on mobile… Not 100% sure what we’re doing wrong, have logged-out and back in but no joy. Do others see this or is it just us?Cheers, Ben

On mobile, emails show 3 products stacked vertically. Is there any way to make it side by side (horizontal) on mobile?

To ensure that products won't stack on mobile, you will need to disable mobile optimizations. To do that, navigate into the template you wish to edit and head to the Styles tab. In the Mobile section select No next to Enable Optimization.For more information, check out our help article on Optimizing Your Emails for Mobile.

Header Link Issue: New Template Editor

Hi all, I’m exploring the new template editor and am really enjoying it, except for the fact that I can’t figure out how to center my header links in mobile. I’ve tried the manual Link/Button spacing option and that didn’t solve it, also tried adjusting the padding. Every test email I send displays with the logo and links justified left instead of centered despite any changes I make.Anyone else running in to this/has found a fix?

Dynamic saved content in new template editor (Universal Content)

Is there a way to insert saved content dynamically on the new template editor? For example, we have a designed footer section with phone number, social links, icons, etc. that is in every email, including ones in flows. I would like to be able to edit the footer once and then it updates on every message, rather than having to go in and update each message individually. Our previous ESP allowed this, but I can’t seem to find a solution on Klaviyo. Thank you.

Product bar image BG

Hey everyone happy Friday. I’m building out a product bar in the new template (had this issue with the old template as well). Our product info/image populates from Woo Commerce through our website. The product images are .png files originally so should have a transparent BG. The email preview has a regular colored BG of my choice, but when the test goes out it has a black square around the image (see screenshot) both on mobile and on desktop. Any ideas on how to correct this?

How can I allow my Users to Download Phone Background images from my Email?

Hello, I am a photographer and want to share three of my images for my subscribers to download as phone backgrounds. I have all the files ready to go in the correct sizes for phones, however on my email, when they click on the link for their phone, it will open up the image for them to save as their background. So the question is, where do I save the image for them to open and save? I tried dropbox, but it opens up to dropbox for them to download, but I would prefer the image opens up instantly for them to save. Any suggestions on how I could do this?Thank you!

Will a customer receive a new coupon code after they purchase?

We have a custom event set up where if a user passes through said event, they receive an email with a dynamic code. I understand that if the code is not used, they will receive the same code in follow up emails but what I’m looking to answer is the following: If the customer passes through the event, receives a discount code, then uses the discount code, will they receive a new dynamic code? If the customer passes through the event, receives a discount code, doesn’t use the code, then passes through the event again, will they receive the original unused code or a new dynamic code?

How can I keep my text from overlapping in Mobile view?

I’ve got a hopefully simple to answer question. How to set block styles?

Hi There,We’re new to Klaviyo and are having trouble understanding templates (new editor).A limited number of styles can be saved but not for blocks. I guess we could style and save all blocks in the template, then duplicate them for an email but this isn’t useful if a previous change removed the block - right?Wouldn’t it be better to save block styles into the template so that you never have to repeat design work?Or are we missing something basic here!Cheers, Ben

How to change vertical spacing after headlines when everything is 0?

Hi There,New to Klaviyo so sorry if this easy.See attached, we’re trying to find and remove the space after the heading - where does that come from and is there any way to control it?Padding on all blocks are set ‘0’ and there’s no section between them.We’re not trying to create ‘pixel perfect’ design but space between headlines and text is critical for grouping headlines with text.If there’s too much space after headlines, the text becomes orphaned from the headline if that makes sense.Any help would be much appreciated.Cheers, Ben

Missing products from shopify site when using select from catalog option in product block

I am creating a welcome flow with a product block. I’ve chosen the option to select from catalogue but not all the products on the shopify store page appears (I can see products that are no longer on sale too)Can’t work out how to get the full catalogue to appear Any advice/help will be much appreciated

Receive a team notification when an email is skipped due to a catalog lookup error.

We use the product catalog lookup for rendering product information. If an error occurs, such as not being able to find a product in the catalog by product ID (or worse, many errors start occurring due to the catalog being out of sync), we have no way of being aware of this. It seems strange to me that we could potentially have thousands of emails going through a flow, and if a catalog sync error was occurring, we could potentially have thousands of emails failing to be sent, and we would never know unless we went into the klaviyo flow reporting page and checked. I would expect that if an email error occurred we would receive a notification that something is wrong.

TikTok Social Button

Hi all,We recently launched our TikTok account and I wanted to add the TikTok social button to our Social Links saved block but TikTok still isn't listed as an option.Have looked online to try to find the exact same design as the other buttons that we already have in place (default image of Linkedin logo, Facebook, Insta...etc...) to upload it as a Custom button but couldn't find it.Can anyone share it across please if you already made it? Or can Klaviyo support tell us when TikTok will be added to the list of default social logos?

Can I use Dynamic images depending on the segment users are in?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a dynamic template with dynamic texts and images depending on 2 segments:General Club membersI want to show one banner if a person is part of the club and a different banner if someone is part of my general audience.I think the dynamic images are new in the editor but I don’t understand how to display texts and images depending on the segment users are in. Have someone ever tried it? Can you explain the logic? Thanks!

Is there any way to access Shopify’s gift_card object in Klaviyo? eg. {{ gift_card.url }} or {{ gift_card.code }}https://shopify.dev/api/liquid/objects/gift-card I’m wanting to create a gift card flow in Klaviyo rather using Shopify’s Gift Card Created notification email.

There is something wrong with my button. It always repeats

When I was editing an email, there was only one button to return to the shopping cart in the preview, but there were always two buttons in the preview sent to the email. After many modifications, the effect was always repeated. I don't know how to solve it.

Edit "Abandoned checkout" Email template on Klaviyo

I am editing all the Shopify Email templates using Klaviyo. Unfortunately, not all Shopify templates are available on Klaviyo. I need to edit the “abandoned checkout” template one but I don’t know how to as it’s no available on Klaviyo. I would appreciate some advice.

Why is my template not responsive to my mobile preview?

Head to the Styles table in the template editor. If there is a box called Auto-restrict blocks, check that box, select Save, and refresh the template.The setting should now disappear and the template should be responsive to your mobile preview.
