Table is rendering incorrectly on mobile

I need assistance. So, I'm very much interested in Klaviyo and I've taken several courses from the academy.I decided to recreate an email I got inbox and it worked well, when I sent a preview email, on mobile the table under the Logo looked like this image, but the table in the original email looked much better from the senders. How do I fix this? I want the items on the table evenly spaced out and on one line.

Is it possible to generate a barcode for a coupon that lives on the customer record?

We are restructuring our loyalty program and will be creating automatic coupons to be emailed out on a quarterly basis to loyalty members.  These coupons will have a unique code for each customer based on points accruals and can be used at our brick & mortar as well as e-commerce store. Because the coupon code will live as a custom property in the customer profile, does anyone know of a way to generate a barcode in an email from this information?

Shopify Liquid Support - Complete List, or Subset?

Have spent some time researching this and don’t find it in the support docs.  I’d like to know the breadth of liquid tag support within Klaviyo email templates.  Are we able to leverage ALL the liquid variables, conditionals, loops etc just as we would in Shopify notifications, or is it a subset?  I see that it’s possible to export HTML/Liquid templates from Shopify notifications, visually edit in Klaviyo and then import back to Shopify, but would like to have the same Liquid template flexibility w/i Klaviyo email campaigns.  Thanks for the help.

Issue with Custom Nav Buttons Klaviyo

Hi all! I’m including a photo here of an issue I am having (and have encountered before) with navs in Klaviyo. I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I created these custom nav buttons for a client and although each image is the same height, they come into Klaviyo sized completely randomly. I’ve been able to adjust the width by eye in Klaviyo to make them match as closely as I could, but I would like to prevent this from happening at all. I am making these buttons in Illustrator. I’ve tried: -Images all being only as wide as the length of the words, but staying the same height. -Images all being as wide as the longest nav button (Our Whiskey) but staying the same height.

All-Image Emails — No Longer Considered Bad Practice?

Hi everyone!I hope your Holiday Season sales are through the roof and that you’re planning for an even better 2022.I’ve been thinking of stepping up the design aspect of emails I create for my clients in 2022. The brand I’m drawing inspiration from is MVMT, as they have some wonderful emails going out. The design alone makes you want to impulse buy their products, but these emails are against everything we, email marketers, often talk about; best practices.The emails are very image heavy, which brings all potential disadvantages we’re all aware of, but on the other hand they’ve been doing it for quite a while so it probably works well for them? Next to the obvious design advantage, they’re using tables in their emails so the layout looks quite good on mobile, far better than images stacking on top of each other, although the text is a bit hard to see but I don’t think it’s a major drawback.I guess I’m just curious if going creating all-image emails is still considered bad practice?

Why are my WooCommerce Product Images Not Working in Abandoned Cart Email Template?

Trying to bring in Abandoned cart data into a custom template. I created a fresh abandoned cart workflow, saved the default “Cart Items” block of code that Klaviyo generates. I switch the template and insert the block, but I cannot get product images to show for the life of me. ONE product will show an image, and the rest are blank. It’s an uncommon product so typically the entire list is missing images. I’ve read all the articles and can’t get this working for the life of me!

How do I use date tags in If statements?

I’m trying to build a flow for a loyalty program that will use if statements to show certain content in the emails.  I’ve gotten if statements to work before but I’m having trouble with one I’m trying to include that will show different content based on the month the email is sending out.  I assumed it would be possible to use a date tag in an if statement but I haven’t been able to get the messaging to show.  Below is the if statement I’ve written:{% if current_month_name = January %}{% elif current_month_name = February %}{% elif current_month_name = March %}{% elif current_month_name = April %}{% elif current_month_name = May %}{% elif current_month_name = June %}{% elif current_month_name = July %}{% elif current_month_name = August %}{% elif current_month_name = September %}{% elif current_month_name = October %}{% elif current_month_name = November %}{% elif current_month_name = December %}{% endif %} Is there something else I should be using to pull in the month within the state

Do you still have to create two different blocks for mobile & desktop only display in the new editor?

I’m a long time Klaviyo user and huge fan of the product. While the editor is certainly one of the simplest out there, it lacks some features that seem like no-brainers.For the last 5+ years I’ve been providing feedback to my various account managers on how to improve the template editor so I was excited to hear that a new version was being launch. Unfortunately after checking it out, there are still some glaring misses.My biggest gripe over the years with the Klaviyo editor is the inability to edit mobile specific styles at the block level. While you can set mobile settings as the template level, there is no simple way to adjust things such as font size, padding, background color, etc. specifically on mobile. While you can duplicate a block for desktop and mobile to style them differently, this creates unnecessary work and opportunity for error.  No simple way to add custom fonts like in forms. Yes you utilize custom fonts by adding css in a <style> tag in a block at the top of

Update property link not working in the URL field of a link (new editor)

Trying to update a profile property using the update_property_link tag in a URL field. In the old editor, it works fine. Only flow emails get clipped, campaign emails send fine

Hey y’all,Couldn’t find any insight in the community on this. But it seems that the same email from a campaign does not get clipped in Gmail, whereas the same exact template with the same exact content does get clipped from a flow email. We’ve done enough research and found all the emails are under the KB limit and also audited them for spam words, KB size (after sending), and non-ASCII characters. Is it at all possible that Klaviyo is adding a non-ASCII character (source 1 and source 2) making Google act up? We found that removing a copyright symbol from previous emails completely removed clipping in campaign emails but there seems to be some witchcraft happening from flow emails specifically.

I am having issue moving designed emails to Klaviyo

hile Klaviyo's email builder is very okay, I have come to find some specialized email building tools that focuses majorly on email designing and I have been using these tools (mainly stripo and BeePro) to design my emails and I have had some beautiful email templates created.  However, I noticed that when I moved my templates over to Klaviyo, they were only rendered in HTML and can only be edited in HTML. I don't have no knowledge of HTML so this has been a very big issue for me.Although, for me, I could have said this is still fine as I can just completely design my email using these tools and just simply move them over to Klaviyo for sending but then, I am a freelancer and I only work mainly with Klaviyo.I can't design templates that will require my clients to be editing it's html codes if they want to reuse it and not all of them will have stripo or BeePro account where I could design the templates and save it there for them to be editing and exporting to Klaviyo when they need.  Wh

Mobile Only sections not working? Show in preview but not when sending

Hi -I have built an email within the template builder. There are a couple sections that are desktop only, and a couple sections that are mobile only.  When I preview the email, everything looks perfect, and the mobile & desktop versions are different as they should be. However, when I actually send the email, I receive the desktop version even when opening the email on a mobile device. I have tested this with a number of mobile phones, and only the desktop version is being received. Why is this occurring, and how do I fix it?  And yes, I have Mobile Optimizations enabled:

How to use responsive image maps in the campaign editor

Hi there,When we switched from Mailchimp to Klaviyo a few months ago, this was kind of a disappointment, because we rely on image maps a lot in our campaign emails. To be clear, I can make it work fine on desktop, but the map coordinates don’t work on mobile. And for the life of me, I cannot figure out how come it worked Mailchimp’s editor, because it was essentially the same process (image map added via html, using a text box) Just an example below. Restore order confirmation email

HelloI edited the confirmation email template by mistake, erasing the custom fields that get populated with the order summary and all the shipping and billing info.Is there a way to restore that? I previously copied and pasted the correct version (before I messed up) into shopify, so everything is still working as shopify is in charge of sending the correct template email, but I don't like the idea of not having the original klavyio template in case I need to edit it again in the future.How can I restore the original klavyio confirmation template? or restore a previous version of that template? Thank you

Is there a way to use the block repeat feature for an image to show different color of the same item?

Hi there.I am setting up an order confirmation flow and have managed to use the Shopify template to set up a dynamic product image, but if someone orders the same product in different colors, it keeps showing the first color for all images. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to change this? Thanks!

Can you combine coupons, change the background color of a block and fix broken product images?

hi, 3 questions - thanks in advance for you thorough answers coupon  update the the block color - NOT just the background color around the text. “cyber monday deals” product image error ************************** Can the coupon generated at klaviyo combined with shopify coupon. Buyer can only put one coupon code on checkout page but I just want to double check with you  Trying to change the color of the template “Cherish the moment”.   But I am unable to change the color of the block.  The best I an do is to change the background text color and it’s not what we want. Please show us how to change the block color.   We recently updated shopify product image and now the product in the email look like error.   Since we didn’t need to upload product image but simply “select from the catalogue, I don’t think we need to select product all over again  ---   Can you confirm if we need to “re-select” the product update all our emails or not?
