Question on Segment numbers not adding up

Hi,  My segments numbers are not adding up, please help. I used RFM model, and below are the metrics:( I only use Rencecy and frequency).--R: In the last 14 days,  if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once then it means 「close}; if outside of 14 days, a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once it means 「far」F: if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site greater than 1 then it means 「high}; if a user has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site less than 2 then it means 「Low};--Then we have 5 segments:Potential Sum ( anyone has done either of viewed product/clicked email/active on site at least once over all time and hasn’t purchased)Potential High (R is close, F is high)Potential medium (R is close, F is low):Potential Low (R is far, F is high):Potential Low (R is far, F is low):For some reasons, the potential sum somehow doesn’t equal the rest four combi

Discrepancy in data display

Hello,I have data that displays varying figures for the same information.When I want to verify the number of unsubscribed individuals from my list using the “Segment” feature, I obtain one figure - 1868, but if I refer to the list growth report, I receive a different number - 219.Could you tell me why ?Kindly review the attached files. Thank you.

Segment definition "is not in segment."

Hi Klaviyo community,I wanted to start a thread about an issue in Klaviyo that there doesn’t seem to be much discussion around (unless I’m missing something).Let’s say you have a Newsletter list, and that you’ve segmented that list into a few engaged segments. For example, Engaged but Never Ordered (ENO), Engaged & Have Ordered 1+ Times (EO1), and Engaged & Have Ordered 3+ Times (EO3).Now let’s say you want to send an email to everyone in your Newsletter list that isn’t in one of those three engaged segments -- in other words, your unengaged profiles from your newsletter list.The simple solution would be to create a segment that says “Is in Newsletter list and is not in segment ENO and is not in segment EO1 and is not in segment EO3.” Now, between your unengaged segment and your three engaged segments, you would have your whole list covered dynamically, with no profiles slipping through the cracks.However, in Klaviyo there's no segment definition that is "is not in segment."Ins

Blacklist domains

First post :DI have looked around in the help docs but couldn’t find any details on this… Is it possible to add a blacklist of domains we don’t want to accept subscribers from? I think it would be a very cool feature to avoid spam traps, scrappers (like Milled) and others.Thanks in advance!

One list, multiple segments, multiple unsubscribe options

We were about to enable our activation funnel for our service, but we realized if someone unsubscribes from one email it will take them out of everything. Uh oh...We want it so if a user in the activation funnel unsubscribes from let’s say onboarding emails, it won’t unsubscribe them from our overall marketing communication. We previously used Sendgrid which allowed us to have multiple unsubscribe choices so a user could unsubscribe from a single type of email without losing access to everything else they deem relevant (all within the same unsubscribe link).Please let us know how we can do this.

Deleted profile list

I have deleted a number of profiles, and until recently was able to see a list of these. Now, however, when I go to Account - Deleted Profiles, it says there is no data available. What’s happened to this list?

How to segment based off a link click in a workflow

Hello Klaviyo Community! 😀 I’ve built out a workflow. In one of the e-mails I introduce them to the 3 main categories of my business.  I’ve linked each category to the relevant category on my site.  However, I’d like to create a list or segment based off link clicks for each category that in essence holds the subscribers that showed an interest in either of the categories.  I read about the update user profile but the problem with this is that if someone clicks on 2 of the links, then only one pulls through. The user should be able to click all 3 if they want to as I just want to be able to market them in future based off what category they clicked on (which shows me what they’re interested in).  Could you kindly let me know how to achieve this?  Warm regards,Rox

Feature Request - Bulk Upload Email Addresses for List Suppressions

We currently manage our subscriptions using lists which matches our ERP (backend) application.We continuously clean our lists as much as once per fortnight, and its usually (consistently) around five lists.Out largest one, on average, has 25 suppressions. This means for this list alone, we’re copy/pasting 25 email addresses (times) to add them.Multiplied by 5.While this doesn’t really take a long time, it can get a bit tedious. And distractions could cause us to miss an email address, which means we could violate anti-spam legislation (New Zealand) if a customer complained (unlikely to happen, but hey, human error).Long story short, I was wondering if you had in your roadmap, or if you could add to your roadmap, a feature where email addresses could be bulk uploaded to list suppressions (like you can for suppressed profiles).FYI - the reason we don’t bulk upload to suppressed profiles is because a customer can choose to be on one or more lists, so if he/she decides to unsubscribed from

Hi, I’m using the API to search for profiles using their email but it appears to be not available.Why is that ? It doesn’t make sense that we don’t have CRUD operations on profiles….

List Cleaning For Mixed List Type (SMS & Email)

So I’m hoping I explain this right--We had legacy SMS subscribers in a list (with opt in dates when we migrated from SMS Bump).  We imported those into a list we called ‘Legacy.’  This was over 6 months ago.Since that point, we’ve done regular list cleanings on our account, have the usual attrition etc, profiles have done merging in Klaviyo as people checkout, etc…. now we have a lot of people mixed into in this Legacy list:Group A - Consented for SMS & EmailGroup B -Consented for Email and not SMSGroup C - Consented for SMS and not EmailI really want the Legacy SMS lists to JUST have the SMS consented folks (Group A & Group C) and move the Group B folks into their own list.I’m thinking I need to create a segment that pulls my Group B people, and make that it’s own list.  But then how do I best REMOVE them from the original Legacy list?Is there an automated way to get them OUT of the Legacy list, or do I have to create another segment capturing Group A and C, and convert that t

Email Verification/Validation Software?

Hello Klaviyo Community!  Does anyone have experience and/or feedback you can share on email verification solutions? For brands that are still using single opt-in, I need a solution to clean and remove typos, spam traps and other risky addresses.  I’ve used Neverbounce in the past, but I know there are several options such as Zerobounce, Kickbox, Debounce, etc. Can you please share any experience and/or recommendations for the best solution?  Thanks in advance! Adam

How can I segment off of a property uploaded via list?

Hi all! Sorry if this has been explained elsewhere but I can’t find anything that answers my specific question. We did a giveaway on social media and in addition to their names/addresses/emails we asked what product they were interested in. When I uploaded this list into Klaviyo, I included that column in the spreadsheet. Is there a way to target people by the product they selected? Do I have to upload the list in a particular way? How do I create a separate list and let my audience join/unsubscribe from it?

Hi all, not sure if my title properly explains my question. So let me clarify here.  I want to send out an extra weekly email with some inspiring stories/messages.  This content is a little different to what we usually send and I don’t want to bombard our current audience. Is there a way I can send the email to them and give them the option to unsubscribe just from this particular list and NOT from our brand?  Hopefully this makes sense. I have three lists that I want to merge, and assign two different flows to it.

I’m quite new to Klaviyo and, since my previous provider had a different system, I made a mistake when setting up my lists.I currently have:one list for new subscribers with a discount code one list for new subscribers without a discount code a regular, “main” Marketing list (where everyone would have been directed to before Klaviyo, once they went through their welcome series)Having understood this to be “wrong,” I now wish to have just one single marketing list, but with two Welcome Series flows (one with a discount code, one without).My questions are:How do I add the present Discount and Non-Discount Welcome Series flows to my main Marketing list (since they are currently in the other two separate lists I want to delete) How do I change the flows to point to my Marketing list instead of the current discount and non-discount lists I wish to delete?
