How To Separate First Time vs. Repeat Purchasers - Recharge
We have both subscription and non-subscription products, but I want to report how much revenue from first-time purchasers is coming from Klaviyo flows. We’ve integrated both Shopify and Recharge to Klaviyo, but any help articles I’ve read about this are above my head technically speaking, with lots of code so I am not sure if they’re in the right direction or if there’s a simpler solution.Does anyone know how this is possible? Segment definition set up adjustment
Hi Community,Don't you think that additional functionality to change OR to AND without deleting line would be something that could make building segments much faster?Many times I have segment build with OR operator and switching it to AND would be so easy and straightforward to build new segment with totally different assumptions.
How can I create a segment with last product viewed?
I would like to segment based on last brand viewed ( aka collection / product vendor in Shopify ) This would then allow for more personalised emails with relevant content. There is a way of showing last viewed products by creating a feed so Klaviyo is capable of attaining the last viewed product info. It would also be great to be able to insert the brand name into subject line. I look forward to your help on this. Sean

I am trying to create a list and a segment however I can’t type into the title section.Obviously this results in a failure to continue to next step.I have tried multiple search engines and a different computer. same result.Is anyone else having the same issue?
Finding unengaged general engagement profiles
I’m having a nightmare trying to get the right definitions for an unengaged general engagement profiles. To clarify, these are profiles that aren’t subscribed to our list but have been active on site/placed an order with us.I’d like to create a segment of profiles that haven’t received, opened or clicked on an email from us for 400 days or more, haven’t been active on site for 400 days or more, and haven’t placed an order with us for 400 days or more.However I set the definitions, I seem to get profiles in there that have had an email from us in the last year or have placed an order with us in the last year. I’m obviously missing something crucial so if someone could spell it out to me it’d be much appreciated!
Is there a way to force the ip address when adding a new profile?
Right now, we’re adding new profiles to a list from our backend.However, these profiles location are set using the ip address of the requester (so the server ip address in this case)It seems like it’s possible to set the location but not to force the ip address?Cool to have the flexibility, but if you don’t know the location, you’re going to use the ip address anyway - as imperfect as it is - and in that case, it forces all server-side api clients to re-implement ip geo-location.In case that helps: we’re using node-klaviyo

i have purchased this plugin: Klaviyo Toolkit by Tribe and am trying to follow this documented page:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035540251-Using-WooCommerce-Subscriptions-Data-in-Campaigns-and-Flows#create-a-campaign-using-woocommerce-subscriptions-data3my general goal is to be able to create segments of our woocommerce subscribers and non-subscribers and to use them in flows based on their activity. i'm running into trouble and an error message told me to contact support: -i get an error message (attached below)-i'm not able to create a segment based on my above criteria-the documentation you provide seems deprecated-the Klaviyo email contact form is throwing an error message, so i cannot reach out to them that waythanks for any help you can give me
How to Update Profiles using Activity Metrics
We would like to add as much segmentation to our flows as possible and currently offer customers the chance to choose their favourite brand when updating preferences or within out sign up pop up. We will also add the option within Welcome Flow.However it would be great if we could update customer profiles in bulk. For example if customer made a purchase of brand x or viewed brand x more than 3 times then update brand name to brand x in profile. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
Creating a segment for Bold V2 subscribers
Hi there!I am trying to figure out how to create automated segments based on our Bold V2 subscribers. I have followed the instructions for how to do the integration following the steps outlined here: https://support.boldcommerce.com/hc/en-us/articles/6740843522964. But after completing this step, I am still not seeing where/how I can create segments based on the webhooks/events discussed in the documentation. Please help! :)
Creating a segment based on placed orders in the future
I make a donation to a non-profit partner based on a percentage of each sale. I would like to send out an email campaign each month to the customers who made a purchase that month to thank them and share the positive impact their purchase had. I have mapped out how I think this should be accomplished.1- Create a segment that is defined as customers who've purchased in a given month and the segment would be named as such. (Example: January 2023 Customers) I would create these segments for entire calendar year so it will compile the data as it occurs.2- Create a monthly email campaign for each calendar month that pulls it's recipients from the corresponding monthly segment as detailed above. I assume I will be able to create these campaigns, like the segments, ahead of time and select the send date to occur on the given date in the future. I obviously will have to do some editing in terms of the given donation for that month, but I wanted to front load much of the work so it's a quick pr
Remove Unsubscribed profiles after migration from ActiveCampaign (not in a list)
Good Day Everyone, I recently completed a migration from ActiveCampaign to Klaviyo. Here’s the problem though: A few weeks before starting the migration I deleted the unsubscribed and bounced subscribers from ActiveCampaign. Then, I cleaned and verified the Master List and imported it to Klaviyo (this list contains all the active subscribers we had on ActiveCampaign...around 170’000 subscribers) What I noticed is that Shopify added new subscribers to the Klaviyo account (I suppose it also included these people who unsubscribed and extra profiles who are not active anymore) Question is: How can I delete ALL the profiles who are not included in the “Master List” (the master list is 170’000 subscribers and the total number of profiles is 230’000 subscribers...I need to delete 60’000 subscribers) Is there a particular procedure I can follow to make it happen? Facebook says my Klaviyo audience is too small, but my segment in Klaviyo shows 1,000's of customers are in it. What is going on?
I’ve made a bunch of segments within Klaviyo and integrated them as custom audiences in Facebook. On Klaviyo, it shows there are over 5,000 people in the segment, but Facebook says it’s too small to be used for a lookalike audience.
Bulk Upload Property Filters for a Segment
I have a list of around 300 custom properties we are using and I’d like to find a way to bulk upload them to a segment definition filter. Right now it seems like my only option is manually enter them as “OR” filters but this is very time consuming for so many properties. Surely there has to be an easier way to do this?
How can I send customer a thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe immediately
How can I send customer a simple thank you for subscribing email when they subscribe? I have a flow set up but it can take hours for the first email to arrive if at all. All I want to do is create a ‘Thank you for subscribing’ email with a discount code that will arrive in their inbox straight after they have subscribed. that is all. I don’t want them to have to do the ‘double opt-in’. I’ve set it to Single Opt-in, but they aren’t receiving an email straight away. This was so easy in Mailchimp and I’ve spent hours now trying to sort this, any help would be appreciated!
How do I limit the Subscribe Page only for Subscribers that are not in the list?
Hi Everyone! Newbie here. So I created a QR code which links to a subscribe page in Klaviyo. To make it simpler and easy for our target subscribers, I included an offer in the success page. Is there a way for us to limit the success page only for customers that have newly signed up? So if they signed up already, the coupon code won’t pop up? thank you!
Black List Email-Addresses from Double-Optin Mails
Dear Guys, i hope you can help us with an extremely important issue as we are in the midst of an litigation with a prosecutor that now reached cease-and-desist declaration against us to avoid any further mails being send to him. The accusation in general contains the point that he a) reproached us that we send him an unwanted double opt in mail (which is impossible to proof how typed in a mail adress into one of our signup funnels) and b) that our double opt in mail contained promotional aspects that is against German law (which is not the cause). The whole claim is really fraudulent but the court declared the cease-and-desist declaration, that we are not allowed to send ANY mail to the customer anymore. As we could blacklist the mail address for sendouts through all our flows, Klaviyo claimed now that they are unable to avoid a sendout of a double opt in mail to the customer if his email address would be typed in in any given sign up form again. And this double opt in mail would then
